This app is basically a glorified timer the description could be a little more clear as to what this app actually is My kids however love the dragon and all of the accessories They have already been reading a lot to earn coins I have not had any crashing issues yet Not what I was thinking it was going to be

If you leave for a second it pauses the timer If you swipe up to try to dim the screen it pauses Btw VERY hard to get it to even swipe up with this app Seems to be little more than a battery hog Have fun for those 15 mins Dont leave the app

My 3 girls love the app and the dragons The only complaint I have is that I have 3 book it girls in my house They all read at the same time but only one child can record their minutes at a time I wish there was a way for a parent to input minutes later for the other 2 or to use older devices such as my iPod that is not on ios7 Like it
This would be great to track my kids reading if I could have more than one childs profile on there at a time I dont like having to find their registration number every time I want to log them in Its frustrating and makes me not want to use the app at all Maybe Im missing something but it seems straightforward Let me have more than one profile Please What if you have more than one child
This app is a great idea If you only have one kiddo it works wonderful If you have more than one not so much You have to log out each kid and log in the next one with their Registration code so make sure you keep those handy if you are going to use this app with more than one kid I would like to see the ability to use with multiple kiddos without having to log out each time There is a student desktop tracker that you can use but as of right now it isnt up I received an email when I inquired about using this app with more than one kiddo that I could use the desktop tracker easier with more than one kid we will see Only one Kid at a Time

My kids read a lot This app stops keeping track when you switch to another app or when your iPad locks I wish it would continue to keep track Also my kids love to read for more than an hour at a time but the app automatically stops after a few minutes and asks them if they are still there This is very distracting and my kids gave up using it and returned to using the stop watch on their iPads They love the dragons and hopefully these issues will be fixed soon Frustrating

Fantastic App and idea however Many kidsfamilies have older devices if any at all it is very disappointing that it is not compatible with even the iOS older than 7 It would have been much further reaching and motivating if the developers had taken into consideration that MANY cannot afford to keep up with every newest model especially for elementary aged children I am disappointed that many kids wont be able to utilize such a nice resource Please rethink your audience Great app BUT
I would like to be able to go type in minutes for a day she read while I wasnt there or not have to keep the app open while she reads if I answer the phone it doesnt mean she didnt keep reading Pizza Hut cant expect every kid age 512 has their own cell phone Love the idea but too basic Features lacking
This app stopped working yesterday My son keeps trying to get on the app to track his time but every time we try to open it it immediately crashes Please fix it Thanks Needs to be fixed
I am a second grade teacher and South Dakota I think this app is fantastic It is great to keep parents involved in such a great program to help kids get excited to read Thank you for doing the time and energy into making this website and app The only problem I see is that parents are not going to be easily persuaded to have the app running the whole time every time the student is reading When the teacher manually enters minutes read through the dashboard this should turn into pointscoins in the app Please make this a change in the next updated version Great app thanks for making
Does it not work with iOS 9 Also please add functionality for the student to see their progress for their monthly goal so the parent can know their progress too Needs to allow multiple users without having to log out and log back in with the random string of letters issued to the student each time In some families multiple children share one device Crashes
Registered my son for book it program online and found out they have an app Got super stoked to have my son record his progress but the app doesnt work Hopefully the developer is reading this review and will look into it Such a great program to have for the kidswish the app worked a little better App doesnt open
Got the app and was working fine now the app will not load Tried re installing it and still same thing My sons school is using the book it program and he loves loves to read but with the app now not working properly we cant record his time spenthuge bummer please fix ASAP We count on this app a lot App work now wont

Ok my kid LOVES pizza and the fact his school is participating is a plus So I did my part and downloaded the app Its a great way to give him control on his reading challenges my only dislike is the fact if your child is reading books downloaded to the same device the app is on you cant do both This really needs to be fixed the only way around it so that my child can get his points to play with the dragons is to leave the device on for the allotted time that he actually read Yes that is technically cheating but I dont know of another way that will give him the coin credit he actually earned Please fix plus it would be nice that if you are a parent of child who isnt in a school or homeschool participating that you could benefit from the pizza certificate award Crusty Beginning

My son downloaded the app and it started up just fine The problem came when our iPad went into sleep mode after a few minutes of inactivity When my son came back 20 minutes later to click on done reading the app had stopped You left so we paused the timer it said There was no way to manually log in the time either The app needs to be able to continue running in the background while the iPad is used for other things I am a teacher whose class is on the Book It Program as well Im hesitant to pass out the parent letters for the app until this problem is fixed Cant close the app while reading
Please fix it Im a teacher and have 100 students trying to log in and it times out Please let us know when it is fixed Broken
The app stops keeping track of the time if you leave the app I use my phone for other things and cannot just leave it open to keep the timer running for my child to read It would be better if the app could just have a space to add the time my child read as she reads in her room alone sometimes and isnt aloud to take my phone up there It is ok
