I agree with the majority in that the app doesnt sync at all It would be great if at least we could manually enter steps That would then allow the app to calculate and track calories burned As I said the price is right if I note down the data on the band before midnight        Priced right for low budget appglorified step counter

I loved my Pivotal Living band until today It wont sync with the app I looked at the most recent updates and saw the software was updated July 23rd Im really disappointed Having had back surgery and the doctor wanted me to walk walk walk I was using my band to record my steps Grrrr     Disappointed

Its a really cool app and I was starting to love it However after the third day it wouldnt sync Im not sure what to do about it I wanted to use the tracker with the app but I guess that wont be possible I would give it an extra star if I could input my stats myself so I dont have to rely on syncing for the app to work           Started out great

App crashes constantly I have never been able to access the weight app           Band is ok App crashes

Works well after initial reset To reset a unit that wont sync you may have to let the battery run down Buy an extra so you can instantly switch it if you cant live a day without one while a malfunctioning unit resets or while waiting for a replacement                 Works well rarely needs resets

It took me two days to get the band to connect but now the app wont show anything It says nothing is tracked If I select steps it shows some dots but thats it On the dashboard it says the steps arent tracked I had high hopes for this but it seems you get what you pay for     Useless

Do all the people writing the negative reviews work for Fitbit Even if you have some quirks and issues give them a break its their initial launch and remember its 1200 a year Take it easy people                 Works great for me

Great app Excellent band that does what bands 10 times more expensive do My only complaint is since iOS9 was released I cannot adjust the minutes of the bands alarm The dial for it is completely gone It seems like a rendering issue of some kind Ive killed and restarted the app and restarted the phone to no avail Fix that and otherwise its an amazing app              Great app no alarm in iOS9

Ive had this band since last December Yes theyve had some issues but they work hard to resolve them I personally have never experienced the band crashing It didnt sync a couple of times but that was because I hadnt set up the band properly The customer service is excellent and has always responded to my questions quickly The band is comfortable looks good its easy to use and keeps track of all the things I need it to I like my band so much Ive given several as gifts and I always recommend it to people who ask me about it Are there some issues Yes Does that frustrate me or keep me from using my band No I appreciate Pivotal Living offering me with an affordable band that provides me with valuable feedback about my day and night              Very happy with my band

The band is comfortable and the displays are nice but display disappears quick But more important I cant get it to sync Ive tried many many times At least I can keep track daily until I can get a different band You get what you pay for        Wont sync

I got my device an it works great However the app does not sync with my iPhone Health app nor does it sync with MyFitness Pal I am very disappointed and I have tried every app I could find and read all of the FAQs and helps I could find and still have no way of syncing with anything else other than the Pivitol Living app I am left trying to input my steps and calories burned into My Fitness Pal Fixing his syncing issue with My Fitness Pal and the Health app will keep me from purchasing a Fit Bit           Great Device for the Pricebut the app

One of the main things that this bandapp needs to do is sync properly I have an iPhone 6 and the app can never find my band and the only fix is deleatingreinstalling the app and starting over A HUGE pain I say this happens 4 out of 7 days of the week Awful Time for me to upgrade to a Fitbit        You get what you pay forcrap

Ive only had the pivitol living band for a few hours and quite frankly I am disappointed with the app It constantly closes unexpectedly and will not sync my info to the app I tried deleting my account and re downloading it but the app wont let me So far Im having a horrible experience     Pivitol Living App and Experience

App only allows 1 pound changes in weight This isnt workable in the real world        Please change

I bought the current generation fitness band with the stop watch as there isnt much to lose for 12 Once it arrived I had a small hiccup with syncing the app that wasnt the apps fault but rather the band I quickly troubleshooted the issue and have been on my way for around 9 days now Its a powerful beautiful and easy to use app It actually blew me away considering this compliments a 12 band I do wish however that the app sent its data to Apples Health app That would be the icing on the cake for me              Exceeded Expectations

I really love the pivotal living band and app However I am having troubles adding friends I have tried several times and it will not allow me to do this              Love it

Every release is worse than the last Although says synching successfully it has actually only transferred a handful of dates in the last 34 weeks Useless A pedometer for that day only Steps will reset during the day but who cares as no historical aggregation anyway No ties to stable products like Apple Health or MyFitnessPal because PL doesnt want those unstable products ruining the PL experience Fix yours or hire someone with some API experience with those Seriously thats a stance taken by people who cant figure their own house out and afraid of integration causing something they cant back out of and diminishing their brand further Not sure if the hardware or software is worse but as a developer Im guessing software and lack of attention to detail and only rudimentary QA Otherwise things like daylight savings time and 1224 hour time patches wouldnt be needed The consistent losing of data rarely a real synch successful synch means zero steps resetting during the day and the frustration and distraction from the goal of health all set my fitness back I was better without it     Useless piece of trash sets my fitness back

I was excited to finally get the band in I would not recommend this product to anyone I was disappointed in everything about it I work in the heat all the time and the thing could keep up It started to hurt my wrist The buttons that kept it on started wearing out and scratching my wrist So I went back to using my phone To track everything     Hate it

Love the smart alarm feature But I cant say I want to wake up within a 15 mins of 430am I have to wake up within so many mins of 4 So my alarm goes off at 330am Why wouldnt you allow someone to set an alarm for 430530615 Only 456 no minutes input available Why only allow a person to set the alarm for the hour Many people wake up half past the hour Please fix     Alarm No way to input minutes

The app is good at the simple things like recording the data from the tracker and taking input for things like weight and water consumed Syncing should not require internet other than Bluetooth and the device        It can be better

Im done It has been more then two weeks and still not able to sync This is ridiculous Using this as a pedometer until my new Pebble Time comes in Then Im throwing it in the trash STAY AWAY     STAY AWAY

I was using a loaner iPhone 5 when I first got my band It worked great However I just got my iPhone 6 plus back and it hasnt synced since           Depends on your phone

Im very pleased with the updates and the stability that Ive seen over the past few months I was with pivotal living from the beginning and there were times I was about to walk away However since this was a startup and I liked the idea and price point and stayed I havent Ben disappointed for about two months now Very good keep up the good work                 Much better

71015 edit They just updated app to fix time issue where you couldnt change from 24 hour to 12 hour format It will not work until you go into app settings and click reset time on band Not ready for iOS 9 beta It crashes on launch iOS 84 is ok                 Working great on iPhone 5

After only a half hour use the device wouldnt sync anymore even after following their troubleshooting steps Fed up I threw it in the trash Its a Waste of money for a faulty device     Epic fail

I love the activity tracker It wasnt so smooth initially syncing the band with the app but with a little patience and rereading the directions its been fine since I find the steps count to be accurate and the convenience of being able to wear the band grabs all those little steps that would otherwise be missed when going from the living room to the bedroom that is if you dont take your phone everywhere The membership well ya just cant beat the price That said there is room for improvement Im not going to compare apples to oranges here If I wanted one of those other overpriced devices I would have bought one And Im sure their not without their issues Pivotal Living App There seems to be fix needed for the app If I slide the weight tracker bar to 230 as per my scale the app will read 229 This should be corrected Why doesnt Pivotal Living sync with the Apple Health app That would be convenient The charging cable for the tracker could be reworked as well It works But its clumsy and could be more streamlined I hope future incarnations of the device app will see more functionality and material improvement like a scratch resistant face or largerbrighter text But as for now I happy with what you guys have put out Keep up the good work              App needs work

Well improved over all The alarm is only on the hour now Why Well done over all This app and syncing need some more stability Play around with the app It is pretty good to use but you have to try              I like the product This update seems to work

I bought it after reading CNET review Its a very economical fitness tracker steps mostly and did a good job as a watch and alarm clock Definitely try it Only 12                 Awesome tracker

Band stopped syncing after 28 days Tried all troubleshooting methods multiple times Tried contacting customer support but never heard back If I have to buy a replacement band once a month I can go with one of the more expensiveand better supportedfitness trackers Great concept bad hardware     Greatwhen it works

Im sooo annoyed It gave me trouble as soon as I got my pivotal living band It only connects to the band if its on the right side of the phone and it keeps crashing when I click on the weight tracker its not even occasional It always happens Just got it an hour ago Lets see what else goes wrong           Disappointed and frustrated

I like the way it reminds you to walk every few minutes It would be better if sleeping alarm can be set in the same way For example the wearable will wake you up in eight hours rather than at eight oclock This option will surely help many people who have flexible life styles but still need enough sleep              Good but need some improvements

it works reasonably well for the cost I find the app to be frustrating at times but Ive mostly figured everything out Ive had it for about a week and havent run into any major problems the pedometer is inaccurate but not any more accurate than its competitors like Fitbit I use the app mostly for sleep tracking and for that feature alone I think the cost is worth it           what do you really expect from a 12 band

The app is user friendly for the most part and the band took a little time to get used to However I am very disappointed that it doesnt sync with the apple health app Seems stupid to try and exclude that when most other health apps sync with it The Health app is still easier to use and has info from all my other health apps But I bought this band because of the price and quality So having to look up info on this app that is not represented on the health app where all my other data is Dumb I can say I probably wont renew to use the app and just input the info from the band on my other apps that connect Until I can afford a band that does sync up If they ever get off their high horse and sync like the rest of technology I may consider coming back           Great app device could be improved

Cant sync because app wont let me create an account after choosing height option plus after saying ok on Bluetooth connecting screen the app disconnects with the watch right after connection was just made What the fudge     Wont even let me create an account

Have an iPhone 5S and was hesitating using the ap on the system Therefore I waited about eight months until they hopefully worked the bugs out on the ap After downloading it didnt work properly I emailed pivotal living in a email and they had a pretty prompt response that fixed the problems The app is now working exactly as it should Im a big fan of the app and the device I have been a big fan of the device and it came out I was just waiting for the app to catch up The only thing I will say is that they need to figure out a way that crossing time zones does not screw up the sync on the ap and the band              So much better now

I was really excited to finally get a fitness band that could track my daily steps and help me better take care of myself but this product just ruined it for me You get what you paid for I guessAfter using the device for 24 hours it will not sync to my phone anymoretried logging out and reinstalling the app which is a stupid fix imo and still does not work Do not get this product until they fix their app syncing issues     Does not sync properly

Ill admit there are some bugs but you always seem to fix them This app is great and so is the activity band I am on my second band ruined the first one by wearing it in the pool and even though there are minor problems they are manageable People have been saying it wont sync I just closed the app and reopened it and it worked perfectly fine Keep the updates coming                 Great app great band

Im appreciative of Pivotal Living for giving me the chance to try out a band without spending 200 It synced perfectly with my iPhone and it does what it says it should If they come out with a heart monitor band in the future with better online features too Id be a 5 star fan My biggest issue with the app is that you cant go back through the days and addchange info Id like that a lot Im glad Im trying this either way Ive spent much more than 15 for other things and been very disappointed with what I got So no complaints in comparison lol              Amazing for 15 a year
