Couldnt translate anything Results in lots of numbers and letters and symbols but no translations Beware     Do not buy

I took a picture of a German Doc to convert to englishit printed EXACTLY what was there in German with NO TRANSLATION What crap Waste of time     Rip off program

bought thinking this would be a nice app Useless if you travel to Asia forget it this app has nothing for you get a different app that has Asian language that can be translated to English     Missing so many languages better options out there

Tried to use it on regular textbook on Facebook posts etc Have no idea what it calls English but English as I know it was never what I got     DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

I had a dollar to waste and this was what I chose to waste it on DIDNT TRANSLATE A SINGLE GERMAN WORD     Junk

I took an iNfocus shot of ONE word leggere from a printed page in a book used the flash I cropped it to a full screen view The image was B W I know not how to get a better image After almost 40 seconds of wheel grinding the translated page was full of mostly symbols etc NOTHING remotely resembling to read I photographed and cropped no fewer than 7 live images plus 3 images from my photo album I would ask for a refund but Apple gets cranky having to make good on all these KRAP apps they let slip through There is a good one out there sOMEwhere N O T this one                 Photo Translator

The app doesnt work at all Ive tried it on very simple typed text and it just returns what appears to be computer code not even words in either language     Doesnt work

Working from my iPhone the app crashed during 50 of the translation attempts I use the word attempts because the app failed to translate 100 of the time even when taking a shot of block letters and going from English to English The delivery was gibberish The interface is slick and easy to use and of excellent design but with a 100 failure rate it was useless Languages attempted English Arabic Dutch and Italian Certainly this is a complex creation and prone to difficulties but its wrong to make it available if it cant succeed at the majority of its attempts     Slick Interface Zero successful translations

Save your 99 cents and buy a bottle of water This app mostly produces indecipherable gibberish Even when the photo is crystal clear the simplest translation returns nothing of value Dont waste your time trying     Piece of crap

I saw the negative reviews and thought Surely these users are doing something wrong After all Ive seen positive reviews on actual tech websites Dont be fooled This is one worthless app I tried it first on computer images of foreign signs Complete gibberish Ok but maybe the digital photos mess with the camera So I tried foreign language book titles or pictures from these texts or the texts themselves All gibberish So I went outside to try it on foreign language billboards in my neighborhood Unintelligible gibberish And I dont mean it translated things wrong It translated them into random letters symbols numbers Every time Alto became a stream of 20 letters numbers and symbols none of which appeared in Alto or Stop Aside stealing 1 from me this app didnt do anything I want to believe in the concept but this app is pure garbage Dont waste your time or money It doesnt work and should not be an option to purchase     DONT DO IT

It supposed to have Russian but doesnt Waste of money     No Russian

When a take a careful photo of neatly typed text it shows up as complete nonsense Unfortunate because its a good concept Waste of money at this point     Gibberish

This app completely failed to deliver on a recent trip to Japan Everything it translated was complete gibberish totally inaccurate Save your dollar     Waste of 99 cents
