Persona Mail

I have a standard IMAP server inside my firewall no big corporations involved but the app doesnt support it yet Maybe a future version        No IMAP support

I love love love Persona Email Currently I have sixteenhundred emails Persona puts them in a list my preference is to see the senders If twohundred more emails arrive this morning they show up as a new sender in the list or if already listed the corresponding total number for that folder simply increases No hunting for a folder whos name Ive forgotten No sorting through read later to find one letter If I want to remind myself what needs doing I open Persona and look at the list When I have time I can delete an item in its entirety without opening the folder Of course I can reply etc From Persona and the buttons for those tasks are handy yet unobtrusive A total Zen experience                 My Favorite

I just installed it yesterday and so far it seems nice It only allows one email account which I think will probably be a blessing Im really waiting for the OS X version though Bottom LineI like it so far              Nice so Far

I downloaded the app and spent 30 minutes playing with it Pretty interesting approach although I think the approach is more tailored toward personal use than business The tutorial stresses letter from Mom for example However there is a fatal flaw that caused me to delete the app no way that I could see to delete messages Reviewed the tutorial checked help swiped updownsideways tapped oncetwicethrice checked out all menus and still couldnt figure it out Gave it to my wife who is a programmer and she couldnt find it either Think the developer was thinking so much about the future that he forgot about the rest of us that have to deal with daily realitylike being able to delete emailsAdd this feature and it has potential for home use     Interesting but fatally flawed

Persona is packed with so many features that help manage email I love the personcontact view There are about 5 people that I am constantly emailing back and forth and it makes it easier to view all the back and forths in one screen Beautiful stuff                 Best email app

Ive been waiting for the release of this app and let me tell you Its been worth the wait Unique outlook on managing and viewing emails                 Finally
