I have not had any crackling sound issues since the developer corrected the problem in Version 13 As a result Im giving it four stars up from three The five star rating will come when users can add their own tunings in a later version If this happens this could be the best app available for tuning instruments Loving it in the mean time Heres hoping Great App Not buggy anymore

i have an ipod touch 3rd generation and i am running on the 402 software when i plug in my headphones with the built in mic nothing shows up and it cant detect the sound to be sure it wasnt the headphones i went to voice memos and it picked up the sound there this looks like a great app if it would work please fix i think it might be a compatibility issue other possible buyers get pitchbot another app almost like thisbut better please fix

This app is so awesome I was gonna buy a 100 tuner but when i saw this for 3 i just downloaded it and it was awesome I tuned my guitar to drop C for the first time to play some bullet for my valentine songs But sometimes it doesnt detect my strings and it really makes me mad Ugh Awesome
I can use the main screen to tune my ukelele but now when I try to switch to tone the app crashes every time If they fix that minor bug this app would be perfect It helps tune a wide variety of string instruments and is easy to use and understand But they should really fix this bug Great app when it worked

Very easy to use my next violin lesson is monday and Ill tune it with this app before if my teacher says its good Ill probably write a better review and change it to 5 stars Well my teacher said it tuned very well except the E string so still 4 stars fix this please Make it happen capn Wow

The app works great for tuning my sons cello but every time I hit the tone screen it force closes the app So we just tune it with the strings screen and that works fine for us Other than that one glitch its a great app Pretty good

I dont know anything about music but when my son said his violin was so out of tune he couldnt practice and it was a few days before hed see his instructor I got this app Tuned his violin in 5 minutes and he was happily practicing again Larer His instructor using professional tools said the violin was well tuned So Im very happy with this app Practice saver
