I have been using Pepid for several years First off the pepidonline website and then using the iPhone app I just downloaded the iPad version and it looks great Very functional layout and easy to use some of the figures for patient education I appreciate that the content keeps getting better through regular topic review conducted by various EM programs I thing having ready resources that are accurate and succinct improve patient care Thanks Pepid Tom Scaletta MD Pepid rocks on the iPad
I tried using this to check my wifes meds against her known allergies I like the idea of being able to do the check myself but the database of prescription medicines is nowhere near complete Out of the five meds shes takes only one was present It is possible the list might be more comprehensive if you pay for the subscription to Pepid but as I am not part of the medical community the subscription is just not reasonable This free app is not complete unless you pay the subscription fee thus the low rating Not Complete
This is a terrible program for the ED No treatment options and reverse thinking It consumes valuable time without adding value Try it first and you will never buy it MD
