Ive been a fan of write pad then converted to Writepad pro I just could not get them to synch across devices Pe quills allows me to use the handwriting recognition with OneNote which syncs across devices and my PC Excellent tool and worth every penny Perfect for OneNote
Ive been waiting for this since I scrapped my old Palm LifeDrive for my shiny cool iPad This is the real deal Better than the Palm ever was I dont have to learn a new way to write Penquills learns mine No its not perfect hence the four stars It doesnt show the entire punctuation dropdown on the iPad in landscape mode In fairness PhatWare doesnt claim to support the iPad with this app When they officially support the iPad my rating goes to 5 stars Handwriting input for the iPad at last
My old handwriting keyboard stopped working with the new iPhone 6s so I was excited to try this one Im happy to say that it works even better Thank you Excellent
In single character mode even at 5 characters a second I find myself trying to draw 3 times faster than what the app can keep up with I dont think its a technology issue as its not slow in vertical word mode So I think that 5 character limit just needs to be allowed to be higher A bit slow for single characters

I currently use WritePad Pro which has excellent handwriting recognition For that reason Im really excited about being able to use this technology in all my apps However after downloading the app I cant get the Penquills keyboard to appear Im sure I will like the app once it works but for now I cant even try it out Ill gladly upgrade my rating once I can get the app to work Hopeful
In portrait the keyboard keeps freezing The recognition quality is very low My text is garbled and it takes a long time to correct it In landscape its better but not better enough to be useful The word prediction is bizarre I wrote wit and instead of predicting that the word I meant was with which it was it suggested weird things like witches During one keyboard freeze I lost all my text This is going to be deleted immediately Really awful
