Peek Calendar

Im in love with the design and gestures but i cant delete events i cant peek at events the cup thing doesnt work and it just seems unreliable        LOVE THIS APP BUT IT DOESNT WORK

Some of the reviews on here seem fairly pettyI actually like this app a lot but got it under the impression that it would have that accordion look all the time instead of flattening out when you are viewing events If the developer could do that I would like it much better Aside from that it is slick intuitive and visually appealing           I like it but it needs some work

I would give it five stars but the one feature I use a lot isnt available at least I cant figure out how to do it changing the date of an event You have to delete it and create a new one Other than that its a lovely escape from the boring calendars were used to              Great calendar

It has been my goto calendar I love the design and simplicity But as of late it has become frustrating to use New entries whether created within Apples Calendar or Peek immediately dissociate from the corresponding calendar account within Peek a situation which Peek cannot handle as evidenced by the side effects of it losing the event start time and length and preventing updates to these values until the event is again associated with a calendar account Having to essentially create an event twice each time has been wearing on me and with no patch in sight Im sad to say I will be looking for a replacement calendar app     User for over 8 months

Since the moment I installed it I cant do anything with it touch anything on the screen of the app and it crashes it     Crashing constantly

Ill give it one star for the potential the app has At this point however it is useless on my 6 plus I cannot edit the name of the task It will not store the duration in calendar view in edit mode it shows correctly but in calendar mode it shows a duration of 0 hours One time i longpressed the event and the calendars just starting scrolling endlessly I couldnt stop it Suffice to say Im glad I tried it while being offered for free This one is not ready for prime time yet     Super Buggy

What a GREAT calendar Its bold simple clean and efficient all in one                 Great

Used to work really well but the new updates have made it incredibly buggy Can not delete events and the new events I create lose their information Do not download     Does not work

I waited forever for this update and while the themes are great all I wanted in this update was iPhone 6 and 6 plus support so that the keyboard wasnt massive and hideous This is a complete disappointment     No iPhone 6 support still

I have quite a few gripes about this product I will only list two Its nearly impossible to edit or delete an entry Half the time it doesnt take the change The other half it crashes Ive been waiting a long time for a fix Finding a different product now     Useful for bare minimum features

All the pieces are there but the execution is off I cant get calendar events to delete once they are entered I didnt pay for this app so I havent lost anything but my time but I am still very disappointed        Greatly Disappointed

NEED MORE THEMES Since the 1st version till now Not for the power users I know it and still like it for the simplicity              Need more themes

I love every chance I have to use this app Yes it hasnt had any love or updates in a long time but its still my fav                 My favorite app

Ive used this app for well over a year now But there are some bugs that have been occurring for a while that havent gotten fixed Namely I just entered an event on Sept 19 three times in a row and each time the event vanished Unless that day is cursed this is a big issue to fix Its been a reoccurring issue that seems to happen inconsistently Overall I like the overall thought of this app But its really lacking the support needed to crush some bugs Might start looking for a new one           I want to love this

Its been so long since this app was updated and you bring us new themes with IAPs What about support for the new iPhones If I add an all day event or a birthday the app reminds me at 12 AM Set to remind me one day earlier and it reminds me at 12 AM the previous day The app had good design and bypassed iPhone default time picker by miles But with free calendars all over the place from google and sunrise you guys need to step up the game a lot to remain a calendar with a reasonable amount of user engagement Then IAPs will pay And IMO the new themes dont look good What you fired your designer           New themes

Its a neat app but I like to see whats going on in a whole week instead of tapping on each day you want to see           Not simple enough for me

This app has potential to be really nice The peek function never worked Multiple support request emails were sent and all of them went unanswered I have deleted the app and moved back to the Google calendar app     Not worth it

Pressing on an event will randomly bring up one of three things its actual time 000 or just a blank space Created an event and now I cant delete it     Doesnt work

The video demo blew me away compelling interactions beautiful style As a UXUI design professional I was more than excited Sadly excitement quickly became frustration once using the app CON1 After creating 3 events 0 actually exist on the calendar What Thats right not a single event I created actually showed up on the calendar after I clicked the save check mark Game over but lets continue CON2 It changed all my calendar label colors to match its own theme Not cool There is a reason I chose the colors I did and they greatly aid in rapid scanning of dense lists of events Now I must carefully read every event because label colors have no meaning Slow CON3 Some of the fonts are outrageously small I have terrific eyesight but man do these fonts get small and often dont have enough contrast to stand out from the background color For reference Im using an iPhone 5S Squint CON4 I never realized how important a quickly scrolling list of all events or a week calendar view or search functionality was until I used this app and had to click on each day one at a time to figure out when an event was occurring this month Painful PRO1 The event creation sheet is brilliant I absolutely love how you pick a starting time and length by holding and dragging Awesome Choosing calendar labels and incremental reminders was also perfectly executed It honestly makes Apples default experience look and feel like a waste of time Fancy CON5 However what is this map thing in the event creation sheet Is it time zones If so please tell me what time zone Im adding to the event You dont need to show all of them at once just the current one Pretty confused what it is because it is defaulting to Midwest and I live on the West coast I slide it West when creating an event in hopes of troubleshooting myself but still have no idea what it is does because no events actually get added to my calendar ugghhh Confusing CON6 When I slide an event right to quickly peek at its info instead of tapping into it it shows 0hrs and no meeting location for every event obviously not true Hide and seek RECOMMENDATION Unquestionably avoid this app It doesnt matter if you are casual or heavy business user of calendars it isnt right for you I was fine with the cost at purchase and proudly pay to support indie designerdevelopers but this is honestly the first app Ive ever completely regretted purchasing I desperately wish there was a way to get a refund seriously a calendar that wont even create an event I gave it 2 stars for the beautiful user interaction innovations but not the other three stars because the execution of those beautiful ideas was ultimately a failure Watch the fun demo video then move on with life DO NOT PURCHASE        Beauty Not Brains

My first iphone was the 4 on release day and Ive hated opening calendar on my phone ever since until now If you do any calendaring on your phone get this app Some bugs but still the best touch screen calendar out there              Clean simple to the point

No way to see what the duration of a meeting is no week view its basically a calendar for hipsters that dont have real calendars Utterly useless     Fails in so many ways

I enjoy Peek enough that Ive moved it to my home screen along with Apples calendar I have Week Cal calendar at the bottom of my screen I love Peeks simplicity for viewing single days and for using Today Yesterday etcetera I have over 500 apps with plenty of calendar apps and find myself enjoying using Peek              Peek

But isnt It doesnt sync well with the native calendar app crashes created events dont usually save properly and theres no way to set a specific ending time for an event you can only set the duration        Looks cool

I love this app and how its designed It works great for me to see whats happening in a day based on events and adding reminders With the new update I cant move an item from one day to another which is annoying                 Love this app and its design

but it doesnt I love the design couldnt wait to use a minimalist tool to tame my nutty overwhelming calendar items But the app plain doesnt work Its buggy It crashes And Im crushedI really wanted to make this my goto calendar Once it is fixed Id even happily pay for it But for now free is too high a price to pay in exchange for the frustration disappointment this app has given me        I so want this app to work

This APP really failed to fulfill any promise it makes on the description Ive got it running on my iPhone for more than 6 months It does not function correctly Like when you make a new appointment and then you want to change or delete it and its not possible Not functional Really disappointed     Wrong promises

Lovely design Beautiful animations But its just not functional enough to be anything other than an exerciseexperiment in design For instance when you launch the app no calendar entries are shown You must first select a day to see whats behind the tile day And evidently no week view Im fine with a calendar app that isnt littered with excessive functions and features unfortunately this one is compromised by graphical gimmicks           Beautiful but too compromised to be useful

I am still getting the use of the calendar especially Im couldnt get into the setting                 I like your design so far and nice selection of colour

Beautiful minimal interface reminiscent of Clear Definitely lets you check out your day in a glance Sadly theres no way of seeing information about events so that event called Birthday Party that was imported from Facebook stays an obscure title Want details Gotta open another app And swiping right on an event gives you a little box that just says 0h Why I have no idea So basically once these two issues are fixed this could be a useful app           Lovely interface but not useful for me

This app used to be wonderful it was the first app in line of all my other apps but now it crashes The great experience is no longer there Now Im not even able to save an activity I advice that the developers fix this amazing app and update it to the App Store with a new version but once theyve tested it throughly multiple times        Used to be great

Yup like the review said its a hipster calendar with no concept of time durations Just let your feeling determine how long youd like to finish your 10am errand        Hipster Lite
