This is a nice fun app to haveespecially for the price I find it useful for writing arranging and just good entertainment I recommend it                 I Like It

Just what Ive needed Sounds incredibly real in the mix if played correctly And Please please please add support for AUDIO BUS                 Extremely realistic

This is a cool concept but you just cant Play it like a steel guitar I want to Mute strings as I try to play it but havent figured that out yet        Not so great

This is a wonderful app for us steel guitarists Here are some requests I have to perfect the design 1 When you lift your finger off of the bar it should mute 2 The floating pedals need to be about an inch higher in relation to where the bar finger is placed This will allow you to play the floating pedals with the middle and ring fingers more comfortablyusung pointer to control the bar and freeing up the thumb for my 3 request 3 Below bar there should be floating knee levers to activate with the now free thumb Curently it is nearly impossible to activate the knee levers while playing the bar 4 Shrink the fretboard down about halfway to allow another higher octave As long as the large size strumming side is an option the fretboard size doesnt affect the playability Thanks for your continued development and for your previous updatesespecially the sowthpaw option that I suggested Keep up the great work              Very cool simulator

I purchased from my iPad the app does not load on iPod without purchasing app again What is the problem              Ed

This app has potential but it looks like something made in 2007 The graphics are not retina supported the help screen looks like it was thrown together in 35 minutes Developer please add a detailed explanation of how to use this instrument Instead its like this app was designed only for someone who already knows how to use a pedal steel instrument This may help you I bought this instrument because Im a guitarist and have never played a lap steel guitar and wanted to explore Your app throws too many pedals switches volume sliders etc at me before I even know what to do The sound quality appears to be midi based and doesnt sound lifelike either In its current states would not recommend this app        Not polished

This thing is next to impossible to play Very squirrelly and needs a lot of work Latency is a big problem and the volume control on the steel is a pain Overall a big disappointment It looks pretty though     Hard to play

Got this because I was looking for a good slide and although this certainly provides a good basic conception of the instrument it does not adapt that representation to the iPad there are pedal and knew paddles but I dont have knees or feet in my iPad and so I am left manipulating the pedals etc with my fingers while trying to get some sound out of the strings Tres tres awkward And speaking of sound lots of problems here sluggish latency and frequent cutting out of sound kind of like the real deal with dust in a knob connection A little bit too much authenticity for my taste Steel Guitar is a much better package currently at half the price Bottom line not recommended At all Ever     I want my ten bucks back

I purchased this app as I felt it would be useful But when I tried to play NO SOUND I checked on the web sight and they said there was a problem with OS50 I Have an IPAD 2 with latest OS OS50X But still doesntt work I will give an other review if it ever works on my IPAD Glad was only 199 But Still a waste if doesntt work        Busts

Confusing Sound doesnt work properly Can only hear it with head phones Slide jumps all over the place and volume changes every time you touch it Dont waste your pennies     Waste of money

May be more difficult than the real thing but an awesome job with UI sounds and graphics Can truly be played and it sounds good too Cant imagine anyone building a better app for steel guitar                 Excellent

I always wanted to play pedal steel guitar but never had time to buy one or learn to play it This is one of the best sounding musical instrument apps yet You have pedals steel bar vibrato pitch bend different tunings A must buy for pedal steel fans              Always wanted to play pedal steel Now one can

A steel guitar can cost thousands of dollars Now anyone can own one for a few dollars Anyone thinking about buying a steel guitar should get this app first It could save you a lot of money If you dont learn to play it will only cost a little money If you do learn to play then you can spend the big bucks for a real one Or you might decide to just plug your iPad into an amp and keep playing this one Its great                 A Steel for a Steal

This is a very admirable effort to bring a complex instrument to the iPad Anyone whos ever tried to play a pedal steel guitar knows its not for the lighthearted I think this instrument has a lot of promise and Im amazed the developer would even attempt it All I can say is bravo I hope there will be further refinements and some kind of documentation to explain the configuration of the pedals PS A trick I found is to not try to slide the steel but to tap your finger at the fret you want for open chord changes              Very Good Work On Difficult Subject

I just love the fact that someones actually built this app It needs some serious help though The right hand actipn just seems Weird Seems like I have to tap too much The left hand I would love to be able to mute the strings behind the slide It just overall seems like theres a lot of room for exploiting multitouch and fixing the glitching that happens when you try right now The bar jumps all over the screen sometimes if you touch in the wrong spot           A good start

It actually plays reasonably well and the tone is very good But I would really like to be able to slide my finger up and down the bar without necessarily controlling volume And what would make it truly awesome would be a palm mute zone rather than a button           Nice sound but

Even after cleared memory before running app it can not play notes consistently as they are tapped Poor quality loops There is a click as the notes are tapped repeatedly A burst of noise is heard after a note sustains or when the mute is tapped The pedal stretch is too slow to respond The string should bend as fast as the pedal is activated This needs a revision Soon App is a waste of money as it is now UPDATE well all the issues I slammed this about have mysteriously disappeared and the app is working as advertised now I have no explanation and I changed nothing but I tried it later in the day and now it works even though the pedals are still what Id consider a bit slow to respond Now if only I knew how to play one of these things              Not Ready

Pedal Steel is a great app for someone who would like to explore the pedal steel guitar It would be more useful if it had Audiobus support              Fun and Educational Music App

Seems like it works just fine just pretty hard to play even father watching the tutorial It is not something you can just pick up I do have some music knowledge but for me it was a waste of 2 bucks bc I cant make music with it I should have purchased music or a book           Seems ok just very hard to play

I just want to say that the app has potential but whatever happened to the standard Dobro tuning of GBDGBD The fact that most Dobro players use this Open G tuning should make it obvious that it should be included Dennis Nelson Manassas VA           Dobro Tunings

Bad latency Crashes Not consistently polyphonic Inconsistentpoor sound quality pops and hisses I am listening through studiostage quality Shure in ear head phones Though I have not been able to resolve the issues such that I would be willing to use this to actually play music in a live setting I will say that the developer actually took the time to write me and ask about my issues I found that encouraging as I feel the idea itself is a really good one        Good idea not ready for prime time

Pedal steal is a tough instrument when both hands and both legs are available I think this interface asks to much of just too hands Ill admit as someone who once played the Pedal Steal that I may be expecting to much of this app but that said it falls short of usable for me           Nice Try But
