PDF WordSmith - Convert PDF to Word

Happy to see something like this available I wasnt too sure how the converting quality would be but Im glad I gave it a shot The quality of conversion is actually pretty good This ones got good potential as there arent that many out there performing at this level              Rare find

Ive been looking for an app to edit text in pdf files on my iPad for quite some time now to no avail This app comes as close as you can get to that realization by converting the pdf file to a word doc so you are able to edit the text then in your text editor save the file back to a pdf file if you wish to What a novel idea Ive converted many many pdf files in this manner and Im quite impressed with the results The only problem Ive run into is converting pdf files that have text in a form which the app interprets the data as a graph or photo Until an app is offered that can actually read edit and save a pdf file this is a great substitute              Surprisingly it works

The program is designed to convert PDF documents into editable Word documents It does do this with a few exceptions It does not maintain formatting eliminates the pictures crashes wow converting files larger than 103 pages if they just contain more than just a few images then it runs out of memory and will not continue the conversion I already had PDF connoisseur which is another program offered by this company and they had a bundle deal for wordsmith and Quick Write for 3 more Even though it was just that little bit more I still feel very burnt     Program is not worthwhile

Worthless App Running on an iPad Air with plenty of memory and latest iOS When trying to open a converted document App just crashes Unable to use or send the document to Word Also there is no guide or Help menu     Crashes

Document looses format completely after conversion many words are converted into gibberish A good idea but definitely not ready for general use     12 a star

It converts PDF to document but the text is all over the place you cannot really read it this way What more the text cannot be edited so whats the point In addition it does not even let you open it in another application Totally useless Dont waste your money     Surprisingly it doesnt work
