The app has multiple different games which allow independent practice with constant auditory repetition It is very engaging and is not babyish so it will greatly benefit any age child who needs reinforcement in rhyming mastery I am using this for a 7 yr old who lacks this essential phonological processing foundation to reading It works great in the tutorial or home setting I tried using my own usual matching picture tools with him but he needed constant repeating of the picture object names when he couldn t remember them rip vest etc he might say bucket rather than pail We were wasting a lot of tutoring time with me constantly having to remind him of the names of the objects This app says the names of each picture every time the child touches the picture This added auditory component is critical so kids can frequently hear the correct names of the objects to determine if they rhyme My student has just finished all the free items so I m going to pay for the upgrade which is very INexpensive so I can get more pictures and word pairs I also LOVE that the app does NOT include the PRINTED words It puts the focus on the skill of auditory mastery rather than print WELL DONE                     Beyond superb Night owl Susan
