Paperless: Lists + Checklists

This app is very easy to use Backs up nicely to Dropbox I love the options to use icons share lists password protect and print options My only complaint would be that it lacks the ability to add pictures to a list Other than that this is my go to app for creating and maintains lists              Neat Simple and Almost Thorough

A good choice to manage multiple lists that you reuse such as things to take on a trip It has a nice simple interface In particular it is amazingly simple to import lists of items It offers synch via DropBox which means you are not reliant on the developer maintaining a server unlike most list keepers but the down side is that synchronization can be slow it took many minutes to upload a list of 120 items I dont know how fast it will be to maintain synchronization I would not use this for groceries because it is a bit of a pain to add new items Good grocery list apps allow you to start typing and if a match is found you can select it else you can add the new item This app does not support that mode Also when you add an item it takes up the whole screen rather than showing the rest of the list which can be a bit annoying though it does mean you can create an associated note as you create an item The one feature I really want that this is missing is tristate lists wanthavehidden For a list of things to take on a trip Id keep a long list of items Ive needed in the past To plan a particular trip Id unhide items from that list adding new items as needed Then I can check them off as I pack them knowing what I packed List Master supports this so it is what I ended up using              simple and elegant

This application is very easy to use and it makes lists and checklists as advertised Especially with voiceover The interface makes good sense and I enjoy using it If youre looking for an application for list making this is it                 A very voiceover accessible application

This app helps me keep track of my complex ADHD brain I wish they would add folders for categories of lists otherwise it is extremely helpful with time management and project completion two of my biggest challenges I keep it open all day and add to main lists then copy to todays to do list as needed Thanks Please add category folders              Effective and Helpful

Paperless has become an integral part of many aspects of my life Some examples My shopping trips are quick and easy because of this app I add items as I think of them or uncheck previously bought items and then organize the items according to the store layout If my husband is being sent to the story I email him the list and he downloads it into the app on his phone When I was hospitalized I made him a list of what to bring me from home I keep my Bucket List To Read Restaurants to Try New Years Resolutions have to be able to edit these etc I can copy 2014 Resolutions into 2015 and order the list of lists and group the years together One of my favorite lists is my Packing List which I can reuse on each trip I simply uncheck items to add to a new trip and leave items not needed on the trip to be available for the next one Everything is backed up to Dropbox automatically and waiting to be transferred to a new device                 Simple fast easy shareable worth every penny

If you remove your dropbox account all of your lists can be deleted Stupid stupid stupid     Synch to dropbox can delete all of your lists

Ive been looking for an all purpose list maker This seems to fill the bill                 I like it

This app is well done and just what I was looking for It still needs a way to group lists which would make it much more functional and fast              Almost there

Im a long time user of this app but the update that was just installed on my new iPhone 6 has about the worst color scheme Ive seen The menu items color and background color scheme make it nearly impossible to read the text on buttons If u use a lime green background brightyellow shading and soft white txt for buttons Epic Fail Dont see any settings in the app to change txt color and only a couple of the included themes are setup so u can actually read the interface Even if u could change the txt color this should never be the default           Great app horrible color themes cant read the txt

So many apps out there and most often I download a new one play with it and eventually forget I have it But this one is a gem I use it every day on both my tablet and phone synced Love it                 Best ever

Ive evaluated a ton of other list apps but this is the only one on my home screen Easy add of items great search Dropbox sync nice look and feel I dont understand why someone would use something like Wunderlist or Groceries over this                 Still the best

Love this App I have grocery store hardware store pet store drug store lists I love how you only have to put the item in once and you can check on or off the list Being able to alphabetize the list is a big help Love how you can customize with colors and graphics too                 Keeps me organized

I downloaded the full app last night I then read a few of the instructions on how to make a list and how to save it Instructions were very straight foward and easy to followI thought Perhaps I am just stupidlol I created four separate lists with notes and thought I saved themI even checked for the lists an hour later and they were there This morning when I was going to add an item to a list none of my lists were present I will read instructions again hoping to find an error on my part but so far Im not too pleased Most other customers seem well satisfied so it is probably my error Just in case I recommend saving a written copy until one is sure the app is working properly     Not sure yet

Lite version only allows for 30 items total When prompted to upgrade I did However I am not able to migrate my list from Lite to the paid version so I have to do it all over again Quite frustrating        No migration from lite version

It does what a checklist should I like that I can import a list I have typed on my computer I had a question for the developer which was answered promptly                 Simple and useful

This app is the best one I have come across for personal use for home work or for both It automatically backs up to DropBox be sure to get that app and you can have it also back up to your email The syncing between iOS devices is quick and seamless and also automatic I first tried the free lite version and quickly filled up its storage space but by then I was sold purchased the full version the storage space seems endless and I have not had any issues at all Paperless has functioned for me through 2 iPhones and an iPad for over 2 years I have never written a review for an app before but this app is truly worth getting                 Excellent Its like having an organized file cabinet in your phone

I use this app every day for many things Very helpful It took me a little while to get used to how it works but now I am cool with how it works                 Wonderful help

First it does not tell you that you can only save 30 items before you must upgrade Second thing is that once you make all the list and personalize your app when you upgrade it erases All of your information so you have wasted your time this needs to be fixed I like this app because i dont have to put my life in the cloud              Bitter Sweet

It allows me to keep running lists that I use over and over such as packing for trips groceries movies people recommend etc I even have a list for coming home from airplane trips with one item on it Put car keys in purse not suitcase                 I really like this app

Additional comments added after a year of daily use A very useful product Even though it doesnt have every feature those extended data bases have I use it more because it is quick and easy As a memory aid it is perfect Make a quick list of todays instructions from the doctor Have a quick list of current meds ready to talk about including OTCs Reuse lists conveniently for all types of things Make temporary short list from longer lists It hard to say enough good things about a simple and easy to use uncomplicated list maker This is added after a month of use I can say it is perfect for me This is a great simple list maker I didnt want a data base Just plain lists for shopping packing hobby projects etc This is the best I have seen So easy to use Just one minute to scan the example list of instructions and you are off and running Used it twice the day I downloaded it Great product Been using it daily since                 Great list maker Used over a Year now

The only program that works for everything I need Making my own lists for different activities and separate them by category and even time of year has been amazingly It also takes my about half the time to go grocery shopping I have a list set up and just uncheck things as we run out When its time to shop I just grab my phone and my list keeps me focused on what I need Takes me about 45 minutes from leaving my home to being back home It used to take me twice that long starting with having to write a list every time I just love this program                 Essential

So I have been using this app off and on for a while Until now I just wrote several paragraphs of thoughts and questions that I cant rewrite the same way and bumped the cancel button Every word processor and note maker Ive used whether on computer or phone has an AUTO BACKUP function iPhone notes makes you delete the note in order to not save it Gmail auto saves everything as a draft unless you delete it Why on earth would you create a note app without an auto backup function Were in 2015 Everything has or should have an auto backup Its common sense Every major word processing company has it in the event that the program shuts down inadvertently Ever since the dawn of computers and word processing the number one complaint and frustration has been losing your information that you just spent hours working hard on Please modernize your app and bring it current with the 21st century Please seriously consider this complaint as a valid issue and not dismiss it because I sound irate If you had just written down a ton of deep thoughts questions potential answer about your own life and then suddenly its gone because your finger accidentally bumped a well placed cancel button with no request to confirm that you want to cancel the note you would be just as frustrated wouldnt you Im now going to copy and paste this into my NOTES APP so I dont lose this too Thank you     Good app with one MAJOR flaw PLEASE UPDATE THIS

This is the best app Ive ever downloaded Ive told all my friends and family about it When I would go to the grocery store I would never have my paper list with me Or when I would think of things I would need I would never have that same paper list I ended up with a bunch of post it notes all over the place Now as soon as my kids or I think of something I immediately put it on this app because I always have my phone This is more than just for a grocery list I have a things to pack list of things to do before vacation list and I had a huge graduation party planning list What I like is you can check them off as you get them and they just go down below as a completed then when you need to put them back on your list again you just go to the bottom and uncheck them instead of having to type everything in again which is great because I can use my pack for vacation list all the time and not have to recreate it to her three times a year BEST APP EVER                 Organized for the first time ever

Update September 2015 I use it every day I love that the developer isnt trying to change this app which is happening with so many other apps Update January 17 2015 Honestly one of my most reliably reliable apps I trust Paperless to keep my data safe and synced I have dozens of categories with hundreds of entries Easy search Easy addupdate You can tap ReadOnly and the note links are activated make calls web searches etc This is an excellent highperforming app I use it many times a day Update November 25 2014 Thank You Devs A lot of apps lost my data or changed significantly with the recent iOS 8 update Paperless stayed awesome I genuinely appreciate that stability See previous review below updated for ios 8 Previous After a long time searching for a task management app that met my needs I have finally found Paperless It does everything I need a task management app to do and it has become my mostused productivity app Why Firstly because I can read it on my iPhone My vision isnt great and Paperless has font size choices Extralarge is awesome 2 Instant sync between iPhone and iPad through my Dropbox And Dropbox is known for reliability Ive never lost one bit of data 3 Variety of Sort options including manually changing the order of items in a list or the order of the lists on the main screen 4 I can move items to a different list or copy them 5 Open In is supported 6 I can email my lists or one item When I create a task list for my team at work I just email it and everyone gets a perfect todo list thats easy to read 7 I can write lots of notes for each task And the notes are readable font is not tiny on the notes like it is in many other tasklist apps 8 I can backup and restore my data 9 The icons are more than just pretty they have descriptions that give ideas for what kind of a list this symbol might fit So the icons help me use these lists more efficiently because the icon is a visual cue for tasks I need to do 10 Completed items remain in the list on the bottom clearly marked as completed I can restore or delete or share Paperless is not complicated and can be used for much more than a task list I have task lists shopping lists packing lists travel todos project notes supervision notes meeting notes various lists of plans and ideas and so much more Paperless helps me manage my life better Im more efficient and productive                 Still Tops Why It Stands Out

Ive been using this app for several years Its wonderful for keeping shopping lists and packing lists but it also a great tool to retain information in a clear and concise manner I use it to store hosting information so Im never serving the exact same menu Its become the place to list gifts I give so as to avoid duplicates And Ive also used it as a daily journal Its more than paid for itself              Great App Not Just for lists
