I love old maps but love it more when the publisher knows what they are doing Here it looks like they scanned in a bunch of maps but know nothing about the USA Richmond Indiana Not the same as Richmond Virginia even though it might look that way from Europe The help desk is in Poland so it is safe to assume that the publisher figured that one Richmond is pretty much the same as another Also the info tells you the same thing as the year counter and country map do what year and city you are seeing Save your dollar and buy a bag of peanuts instead Give me my dollar back
Lovely old views Lovely
It is really nice to be able to see some old cityscapes I dont understand why the individual free city apps have multiple yearsmaps and this pay for app has one per city Id love to be able to see maps of cities and be able to switch between them by moving the date up and down and the map changing as the date does But even more simple than that let me be able to see more maps Use photo maps and so on as the technology grew and grew This is a nice start but I hope it grows quickly Needs more
Another 814 MB download for a new name Is that is the full extent of this massive update This app is just asking to get deleted permanently What a waste of bandwidth and storage space
Pretty amazing to see what out country looked like over 100 years ago Very detailed maps Really nice maps
Excellent detail and a large number of cities Just like the birds eye view exhibit at the Library of Congress in Washington DC a few years ago Good for cartographers and history buffs A Great Collection
You can find these panoramic pics on the library of congress website but in large raw formats not completely viewable on the ipad so this app is pretty convenient Well put together

Took forever to download and its not even accurate Richmond VA panorama is actually Richmond Indiana Thats embarrassing for the people who made this app I was also hoping for more than one panorama of different cities at different times Pretty Bad
The maps are great with lots of detail However the app is huge and slow to load Plus there is the previously acknowledged problem with the map of Richmond You would think with only about a dozen maps the developer would make sure to get the right maps in the first place The developers own website doesnt even work so dont waste your money until a new version is actually released Great idea for history app Bad execution
Stunning pictures smooth viewing really enjoyable and gets better with more cities added in the update Great little gem

These are just beautiful and so interesting Especially for cities you are familiar with to see them how they used to be fascinating Recommended I only wish there would be a way to have the map for today under the old map and be able to switch back and forth Im not sure thats possible but it would be cool Cartography fans Dream

Nothing like what youd expect These are from the 1800s and there is no real detail I expected real panoramic photos not old maps Washed Out views from the 1800s
Recommend dev reference a real map Pics are ok not photos but drawings However memphis is not in Mississippi This is second time for map inaccuracy Neat idea with potential but needs maturing and some reference review Makes me wonder if drawings are real for the period and location 3 for average Location accuracy issues even with the updates
Reason why I purchased this was to view old photos drawings of American cities I was disappointed there were too few of them They ought to load as many old picsdwgs as they can Needs improvement More pics
I have never written a review of an app before but this one was so horrible I needed to issue a warning to others I never got past the opening page It crashed frequently and then froze on the opening page Great idea but horrible execution Horrible

This app takes a long time to load because the maps are huge I bought it to see my hometown of Richmond Virginia The program had a pin on the map indicating Richmond right in the middle of Virginia Lo and behold the map was of RICHMOND INDIANA Sheeshwhat a waste of my tine and money Wrong map
I love looking at how the cities in US use to look Im a history buff This a good app 2 get if u love history like me I love historical maps
