I travel a LOT and have tried a number of packing apps Pack the Bag is by far the best most intuitive and most flexible of all of them Only changes I would make are integration with TripIt and or a weather app With this information combined with a couple simple questions when creating a trip like whether the trip is a business or leisure whether you are alone or with family children could allow the app to pre populate the packing list which would take the app from great to awesome                     Best Packing App MWG441

I had been a huge fan of the free version of Pack the Bag uploaded it to my old iPhone 3GS and using it on a number of my trips to help me organize I held off for a while before taking a chance on the pay version wondering if I would not only like it better but if it would be as flexible and efficient as the original I had some extra iTunes gift dollars and decided to give it a go I m only thankful the free version still exists After several attempts for vacations last year I gave up and returned to my tried and true For one the pay version appears more complicated than the first which is ridiculous I m big on categories and subcategories and I was never sure if I was adding something to be packed later or what was happening as I seemed to be going thru way too many clicks to add one item Even deletions were complicated due to swipe attempts which weren t always successful I liked the idea of being able to pack an object in a specific bag you re taking but even this got frustrating The only thing I did like was the weight section when one has to be careful not to overpack due to baggage fees etc this was the one helpful benefit After consulting the instructions numerous times I finally contacted the designer by email AND even on Facebook but despite their answers I was never able to achieve their claims In the end I removed the pay app and reinstalled the old one It wasn t worth the trouble         Sometimes Free IS Best II2None59 Go Cards

What a joke I have been using the free version of PackTheBag for about two years and absolutely love it I thought surely an upgrade would enhance my experience Was I ever wrong This new app is so confusing and so frustrating and very complicated I have recommended pack the bag to several of my friends and I will now tell them not to upgrade The company should take this app off the app store and refund everyone s money I m going back to the free version and regretting the day I ever spent the money     You have got to be kidding me Qqq453780987

I think this app has potential but it s still a very tedious process to get one s list items and categories set up to one s liking As it is each and every item requires a long left swipe then clicking to delete or typing a new name then confirming Given that there are dozens of items it s almost more hassle than it s worth Inventory items need a bulk edit mode select multiple to remove drag drop to a new category Also it s not immediately apparent whether you re in plan or pack mode which leads to frustration when actions don t work as expected This could be a truly five star app if it worked on a friendlier and faster experience rather than making using the app a project in itself I hope the developer can fix these issues so that I can rate it higher and feel better about upgrading to Pro             Pro version fails to make needed UI improvements Sojo616

I have used this app for about 3 weeks now I am getting ready fora 2 month trip and just did not feel comfortable with the other apps I had purchased OR used I tried PAC THE BAG and immediately fell in love with it feeling confident that I am remembering everything Occasionally I will think of another item enter it and forget it I have edited some of the categories copied some deleted some and just added some items I LOVE THIS APP AND THE SUPPORT HAS BEEN GREAT Will quit looking now I have found what I want Oh I did Buy the Pro Well with it                     Top Drawer ne4400

Pack The Bag Pro is amazing the free version too It really makes it a breeze to plan in advance for your trip business or vacations especially for us Disney Vacation Club members there is so much advance planning needed to ensure you make the best of it This App helps me efficiently to not miss a step or forget to pack my items Been using it for a few years I really can t believe it got better Thanks                     I can t believe it got better RubenMiranda

I loved the version before this latest update Now it is too complex for me even to just mark all items on packed which I still have not figured out how to do The simplicity of the old one was much smoother for me If I cannot figure out how to check or uncheck all items at once I will likely switch to another app     New version is awful JoeLoCa

I use this app for every trip to make lists for me and my 2 boys It is so nice to copy previous pack lists to make new ones There are tons of items in the different categories and you can add your own too I just wish it was 2 steps easier to add them the only reason I didn t give it 5 stars is that I have yet to figure out if I can hide or archive old lists But overall I love this app                 Great packing app DFarley

Overall this app is good and very helpful but could be great with a few added features For example the ability to create several typical lists such as business travel international travel etc the second thing it could use is a way to make notes about specific items you want to bring for example not just list 5 shirts but have a way to note a description of the exact shirts you want to bring             Useful app overall good could be great Mettamorph
