This app has been a fantastic help for our little cub scout He has loved tracking his achievements and the format make it very easy for him to identify and complete the various belt loops and others HOWEVER since moving to the new iPad the app freezes and he cant go from page to page Weve done everything we can think of to make it work No luck Please fix and well up our rating        Great appwhen it works

Just wondering are you updating to the new scouting program              Scouting 2015 Program

Its a bummer that your list of scouts gets cluttered with all the names you have entered over the years since you cannot delete their names as they move out to Boy Scouts Is there a solution to this When I click delete the app freezes Would have given this app a 4 12 otherwise           Freezes up when deleting a scouts name

Worked fine with known limitations for 1 year as Bear Den leader Opened app to submit arrowheads for next meeting everything is gone I wish I had gone back to the spreadsheet I used last year Not worth the cost or the headache I now have     Lost everything

Please continue to improve the app It would be nice to not have to look at tiger wolf and bear requirements like a turn off feature Also ensure the app is updated since the last year update is rather old Love the app                 Thank you

Seems like a great idea but the database was dumped twice I have emailed the developer but never heard anything back There is also a problem with Beltloops and Pins They are not tracked separately making it hard to determine what exactly the boys have earned     Lost Data twice

Disappointed This app wasnt difficult to use and gave good information on the badges but I wouldnt recommend it for 2 reasons 1 It is not up to date For example it still shows the tiger badge and this is no longer part of the Cub Scout program 2 There is nowhere to go to see what still needs to be completed You can see all the awards or all the awards completed but there is no easy way to see what still needs to be earned You can mark a badge as in progress but when you go to the in progress page it just lists the badge For example my son is working on his wolf badge I have marked it as in progress but I dont know which of achievements for the badge are complete with out going into each individual achievement which can be cumbersome I absolutely regret paying for this app     Very disappointed

ARE YOU KIDDING ALL my data was erased randomly And this wasnt an accidental deletion because of one of my kids was screwing with my iPad Other PAYING customers have also encountered this I can understanding getting a crap product for free but when you pay for something you expect more Very disappointed     This app deleted all my data

Lost everything in pack badges and troop badges Do not use unless you enjoy losing all your data     Do not buy

Will not save any data Dont waste your time     Terrible App

Love the concept and pretty well executed Wish there was a way to highlight multiple scouts and then click on what the have all achieved as a group Came back from scout camp with a big list of achievements for 7 boys that was very cumbersome to enter           Good but needs work

New requirements havent been updated on this app Used it last year and loved it I wanted to use it this year but it hasnt been updated to show the new requirements              App needs to be updated ASAP

The reviews stating data lost are completely accurate Randomly one day I checked to see if we had completed a certain looppin and all data was gone I could not find a single other thing affected or gone on my phone That info takes hours to enter What a waste Very disappointing     Data Vanished

Ive used this ap for a while and have loved the ease As a webelos leader almost everything is applicable for my scouts However with the last update all the data I had recorded over the last year was erased and I had to scramble to find all of the boys achievements again              Great but some kinks

Do not use this app You are basically guaranteed to lose all of your data randomly In the same week both my iPad and iPhone app erased all data entered As well both do not sync with each other so youll waste time entering into both only to lose it later     App will lose all of your data

The app would be better if the whole den or pack could be viewed in a spreadsheet Thanks for the app it is very helpful and I will definitely use it often I know that this app will help make tracking the progress and making a printed spreadsheet much easier           Good app needs revisions

I wrote in Dec 2011 this could be a good app with improvements If you notice though the app was last updated Dec 2010 Dont waste your money I wonder of this was an abandon app     No improvements

I just lost 3 years of data for both of my sons Thank god I also fill in their books but beltloop data is gone Never had an update even after I was told it was in the works Im done with this app     Frustrated

I downloaded this app in 2011 when I became the den leader for my packs Wolf Cub Den This app became a great shorthand way to familiarize myself with the requirements of each rank level Now that I am the den leader for Webelos 1 and 2 it has become even more valuable to keep up with all of the requirements for the activity badge Ultimately over the years i have found that it is a checklist app for the requirements and I use it as a tool to supplement the handbooks not as a replacement After 3 years of use I gave this app 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons First no updates in years while the requirements may not have changed much since I bought the app it will require MAJOR revisions in May 2015 when the changes to Cub Scout requirements become effective so I hope the author is able to bring up to date for fire users Second I will echo the sentiments of the reviewer who found it tedious to track scout progress since all entries must be made on an individual basis I wish there was a feature like a spreadsheet for the den which allowed entries for multiple scouts all at once However in the here and now I would recommend it to both new and veteran den leaders as long as requirements are kept current              Still a good app after all these years

Really easy to use when you just want to know what the requirements are Too hard to use for tracking completed tasks I wish it always had a little icon or colored background behind completed items As it is its not worth the time it takes to click on each thing weve worked on since you cant see that on the summary pages Looking forward to improvements anyway Thanks              Great info Hard to tell whats complete

Actually to correct many of the other ratings here Every time you add information you should treat this as any other program you use Always back up data There is a way to do this with this app You click on report This puts all your information in an email form and you can send to yourself and all of your parents Decent app that helps me keep from repeating the belt loos and pins our scouts already have              Pack Badges

My son is new to Webelos This app is a great tool to help keep both of us on track You can email progress or completion reports as needed We highly recommend this app                 Great App

I am a Den Leader and Assistant Scout Master I was looking for a good tracking program that is portable rather than having to input everything when I get home Unfortunately I am still looking This app would be nicer if it showed a summary of what the scout has accomplished in percentages or even a report that could be emailed As it is you have to go into each activity to see what has been accomplished very cumbersome I would love to see changes made to make it more useful because I like the idea of this app it just isnt there yet It is ok for showing the requirements for the achievements or electives but all of that is on the internet anyway        Good info not good for tracking

We thought it was great until one day all the info we had entered was just gone We were relying on it to keep track of all the dens achievements and we lost everything No idea what happened and an email to the developer was unanswered        Problem

This app was bought because I am a New Den Leader and wanted to track my boys rank advancement First this app locks up when using the keyboard on my Ipad running iOS 5 DO NOT GET IT Second I went to the Developers site and left a nice comment saying that there is an issue with iOS5 and he should update and when he updates can he make it more intuitive he deleted my comment What this app is missing is many things like when you select the fields it should mark it as in progress it doesnt you have to click then it should mark it as complete once the scout is done with that section you have to click each one over and over again to check it There is not a single page that shows you a list of completed items so you can quickly see what your boys need to work on I spent an entire night trying to use the program and got very frustrated I have not lost my data and if I do I think I will go crazy Also the Email link just puts the contents of the page in an email not at all what you would expect Please take my advice DO NOT PURCHASE If I could I would get my money back but I think it is too late WASTE OF MONEY     Horrible Does not Work

I wish I had something good to say about this app but I dont Bought the app and it constantly locks up my phone I entered my whole Den it locked up and everyone one of the advancements I put in are gone Im very frustrated and contacted app support heard no reply My Pack is getting the Management software offered by BSA wish I would not have wasted my money on this     What happened

This app needs an update for Webelos tracking There is no progress tracking like tigers wolf and bears have Needs more improvement Works well but can be better           Update please

I purchased this app in an effort to streamline keeping track of my scouts accomplishments The app worked reasonably well for 3 weeks I attempted to access the app over the weekend to find that ALL of the information I put into the Pack Badges app was gone Ive sent an email to the developer and am waiting for his reply     All information was erased

I love the app but the data is volitile        Nice but data issues

I used it for almost a year before the dreaded data loss happened Good thing I emailed progress reports at the end of last year Avoid at all costs     Worked great till I lost all data

This is just the app I was looking for when I received my iPad for Christmas I am the den leader of my sons tiger den and was looking for a way to keep everything organized Thank you After using this app for a while I have come across something that might make this a better app 1 Have the ability to sort by den So when you need to add a particular award for a boy you can tap the den and find the list of boys there           Love it

I cant update dates on the iPad app Locks up every time so there is no way to give an accurate timeline        Nice thought

I really liked the concept but to many needed functions lacking I have tried to get the developer to respond to several support requests but he apparently has has his money and not responding I will be going back to Excel How unfortunate since this product could be great with a little work        Good but not worth money

I DID love this app It was great for me as a den leader to keep track of all my boys It was also great to have all of the requirements on hand instead of carrying around a giant stack of books This week however I went to look at one of the boys records and it was GONE All were gone So glad I kept paper records also I did love this app until this week     what happened

This is great for reference and tracking Our den leader loves that we send our completed requirements by email On the page of all requirements I would like for the icons to change or have a check mark when completed A visual indicator on that screen is needed              Great app

Love the app Its great to have portable access to the requirements and a way to track completion for my sons especially in places where scout books are not handy A few additions Id suggest on relevant belt loops allow an additional earned as Webelos checkbox have separate checkbox for pins strengthen communication tools for den leader use I love using this for my sons but have some difficulty believing it could be effective to use for den Id love to see a summary report I could send to parents and Id love to see a summary report across all scouts in a certain group eg all Bears this would help see which requirements each of my Scouts had completed and ideally allow faster entry if we complete an activity together havent tried to port information from my iPad to iPhone yet but it looks like its not as simple as Id hope for what is likely to be a repeatable process contact info for the Scouts simple tools for tracking den meeting attendance                 Great app

This app is great for quickly looking up achievements and requirements but for tracking a group of scouts it is too much work After thinking about all that this app needs to be better the list got a bit too long The major ones include Checking off requirements completed by multiple scouts After a campout or big activityfilled event a den of just 5 or 6 boys takes a long time to update A simple percentage completed shown next to sections of achievements belt loops etc Missing a few patches The email reports are almost completely worthless In progress check box and completed box should be automated and a separate box differentiating progress on belt loops and pins Ranks and completed awards should be shown in an order reflecting the rank they currently are working towards For example a Bear scouts Bobcat badge should be shown last instead of first Show all awards grouped better instead of alphabetically group Academic Sports belt loops and pins separately Very disappointed that this app was free and now that I was one of the unlucky ones who actually paid for it I was expecting and will be expecting many improvements I decided to purchase this thinking it might be better than putting the time into modifying the BearTrax Excel spreadsheet now Im thinking it would just be easier to either write my own app or make my own Excel achievement and progress tracker        Great for reference not yet great for tracking

I got this app to help me track what my sons progress is It has been difficult for his den leaders to keep track of 17 scouts in a Wolf den I found it easy to use and I love that all the required activities for earning the belt loops and later pins is in there Two suggestions add the Outdoor Activity award and put in a function checkbox so an award can be marked as Awarded For ex my son has completed the requirements for several belt loops and the religious emblem but the Pack has not awarded him these loops or the emblem from the Diocese It would be great that I can keep track of what hes completed and what awards hes received for now they just sit in the In Progress cue until the patchaward is inhand Thanks for such an awesome program We look forward to seeing improvements that really help tracking scouts easier since I will most likely be the new Den Mom next year and take over the tracking responsibility              Very happy with app

This app does not save the info very efficiently The database seems to drop everything entered at random It makes a great reference but as for tracking info on the scouts its a failure     Lost all infoagain

We have been tracking our Webelo for a year and a half and then right when we needed to send the update to his pack all information was gone Our message to the developer also has not been answered So disappointed will this program now that I have begun to reenter information the program keep lockingup Each time I rest it the new information is lost Seems like a lost cause     What Happened

I entered a lot of info Updated my ipad2 with os 5 and now it crashes so often that its not worth the bother Every disappointing     Locks up

This is great and very useful app but I do suggest a pop up calendar for the date Also a separate completed box for the belt loops Again great app though                 Great App

As an assistant leader I keep up with the boys progress With this being my first year and our den busing at the seams this we a huge help But I noticed tonight all my data is goneI did keep my Advancement paper trail so Im not totally in the dark I would like to continue to use it dreading entering in everything again but I guess I should hold offplease fix the problem I presented this app in a leader meeting and was going to take it to Roundtable next month           Hope you get the kinks out
