This developer doesnt want blind people to have access to books Please dont support them with your money Amazon offers a service like this and they believe accessibility is important lets support them The Kindle app works fine and the Kindle unlimited subscription is 10 a month for unlimited reading I have had several conversations with these people trying to get them to make this app blind accessible They are not interested It frustrates me that they wont even make a few simple changes that could open the world of reading up to the blind and others with reading disabilitys Apple has built a screenreader into all of its products All Im asking this developer to do is make this app compatible with that service Please dont support these people Subscribe to kindle unlimited instead

Its getting betterexcept its a bit unnecessary with the freaking little book icon on the bottom left So freaking annoying I know you guys are trying hard to please every reader but please we are just READERS nothing more Just make it simple How would you feel to have a 3X1 inch picture of the cover of the book on every single page Its annoying Just make it simplejust like how we read and have read for hundreds of years Without cover picture popping up Please Stop the unnecessary changes

I love Oyster and until the most recent update it had my favorite reading interface of all the apps and services that I use Whats with the box that pops up at the bottom with the book cover and share icon It takes up a good third of the screen on my iPhone and pops up every time my thumb accidentally hits the wrong part of the screen Takes away from the simple aesthetics of the reading interface that I loved about oyster before this update Please get rid of it and find a less intrusive way to do this by adding it to the top menu that used to pop up and didnt interfere with the text on the screen please Tempted to switch to Scribd or Kindle entirely if this annoying interface issue doesnt go away which is a shame bc I love the selection on oysters service Great service poor update

Oyster is a great way to read books I found I was spending way more than the monthly fee buying books one at a time I do not like the new pricing option and book selection Most newer books cost extra over the monthly subscription But I can always find something to read Great selection of books and economical

Grrrrrrrrr Your current version no longer offers the option of a manual sync which is often NECESSARY because your sync across devices is often unreliable So now you not only have lost my place in my current book but when I laboriously page along to get there the app cant keep up Grrrrrrrrr Unreliable sync across devices

This is the best and most used app on my devices My entire family loves it My daughter can even find her accelerated reader books for school Ive found many of my all time favorite books plus a ton of new favorites If you love a good book this is the app for you Every book lovers dream

Blowing too much on ebooks bad at returning items to the library Oyster is for you I love it I have always loved to read but I rarely had something particular in mind plus books are expensive Im terrible with library books Now I have no excuse not to read anymore The updown scrolling is a bit counterintuitive but its a minor thing I love Oyster

The app does have a condensed selection of books but there are many good books on here that are worth the read If nothing else try the free trial Overall good

I have been a subscriber since the beginning and Oyster is still providing ways for this reading obsessed girl to get her fix Ive always had a book or two or three going and always have a list waiting for me With each update it gets better and better Be sure to check out the recommendations some are books you probably would never have found otherwise but are so so wonderful App Ill never give up

I love Oysters subscription service for reading backlist books for free and the app is so nice for reading that I buy all my ebooks here too Great service great app

Over all there are a lot of books to choose from I recommend following book lists instead of searching through the genres because they do not always load many options Check Thor updates It was a much better app before they set it up to pay for books Lots to choose from

Im so happy to be an oyster customer I love how I can read as many books as I want for a low monthly fee and it doesnt take up space in my home when I am done I just delete it as read and it helps me keep track of what books Ive already read and as long as I keep my phone charged I always have light Love this app
