I appreciate the commitment to constantly improving the app Its clear theyre listening to feedback and taking their customers suggestions to heart The app still has issues syncing up with my Misfit It often doesnt connect even after erasing and reinstalling and repairing with the tracker It usually ends up pulling the data from the Health app which isnt as comprehensive or accurate With the most recent update it also stopped allowing me to sign in with Touch ID which was a huge thing I liked about the app           Steadily Improving

Im so happy with this new update What you guys need to do is have misfit and Oscar linked to the apple health app Then only sync with the misfit app The new Oscar app will get all the data from the apple health app                 Misfit sync fixed

This app does not operate alongside apple health kit The steps are not counted from the iPhone Have to keep deleting and reinstalling Oscar to sync correctly Guys get this fixed and invest some money into the fix     Horrible

The app is getting better The quick passcodefingerprint login is a huge improvement and I added a star just for that But alas the misfit tracking is mad glitchy and its the most fun part about Oscar Its the only way I interact with my health insurance company And who the hell can say that Usually people dont even know what their health insurance company is So please fix it And give me my Amazon Yes its a tiny amount but its really fun getting the rewards Also Oscar customer service culture is great It makes a huge difference when the dude denying you care isnt a dick and shows compassion           PLEASE FIX THE APP I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER

I installed the app because I received a Misfit activity monitor and the only way to use that is in conjunction with the app They do work together although the interaction is a bit flakey In that regard as I already had and use a FitBit I wear both so I could compare They do NOT agree The Misfit takes well more than 10 more activity to get me to 10000 steps That would be ok as perhaps its the Fitbit that is incorrect I cant really know but the Oscar App crashes multiple times per use Over and over and over and Whats worst of all is that it doesnt remember my password more than a few minutes which is REALLY annoying This I dont understand On the plus side it does provide me with interesting info about my health insurance activity Update They fixed the password issue but the Misfit lives up to its name I literally hiked up Machu Pichu yes in Peru and the app told me I did not make my 10000 step goal while my Fitbit clocked me in at over 15000     Needs a lot of work

Just wanted to weigh in that my misfit step counter synchs fine with the Oscar app and I havent had any problems yet Im very curious about the misfit app and the additional functions of the misfit but Im scared it will stop working with the oscar app if I download and connect to the misfit app Gotta do some research The continual logging in to check my steps is really annoying Maybe we need an Oscar step counter app separate from the regular app so it can be less secure Or else the assured and clearly communicated ability to use the misfit app and have Oscar get data from there Oscar has been great for me so far a year in              working for me

I love the Oscar App Its very user friendly allows you to do so many different things from checking your health care history medicines you got from pharmacy fitness if you wear your Misfit tracker pay your monthly premium contacting customer service or Drs on call etc Great job Oscar                 Healthcare at your fingertips

Oscar is clearer and easier to use than any other health insurance provider Ive ever experienced Their focus on preventative care is brilliant they directly subsidize activities to keep you healthy They give you money for walking around enough and reimburse you for gym membership but only if you actually go This brilliant understanding of shortterm economic incentives against long term economic benefits extends to the whole program While there are obviously some restrictions Oscar provides a clarity unparalleled by any other provider Knowing exactly what you can get without doubt is so much better than the other way with all the uncertainty                 Clear

It has been working pretty well from the things I have been using it for The step monitoring with reward is a good motivator Though I wish you could pay your bill with the app              Pretty good

Oscar has by far the best plans of any insurance company Ive seen especially for active young adults For half the price of my previous plan I have free office visits prescriptions gym reimbursement and a much smoother experience overall The app definitely made my life easier searching for providers and accessing my information easily Some of the design features can be improved its hard to access certain options from the home screen but overall a top notch service                 Great insurance

it just plain old doesnt work at all the app otherwise works alright but I cant justify rating an app at even 3 stars when one of the main things they advertise doesnt work at all     Misfit is a JOKE

I have not used any other part of the Oscar app insurance hasnt started for me just yet so this 1 star review is only about the functionally or lack there of of the step counter Im running the latest version of the app as of today 013015 on the latest iPhone 6 iOS The step counter is a great idea but unfortunately that idea isnt working as intended The step counter is not accurate at all I have pedometer on the iPhone 6 The iPhone health app and pedometer are mostly accurate and pretty much record similar data Oscar not so much Itll be great if Oscar gets it to work correctly Second big annoyance is that after a few mins the app logs me out I understand your personal info is on the app but why not have the step counter in a separate app that does not lock Or they could do something where the step counter is located in an unlocked part of the app and personal info locked in another part of the same app Do something similar to how bank apps like Bank of America allows you to search for bank locationsatmetc without having to log in Chase bank app also does something where you have option to do a quickview of your balances without logging in There are many ways to get around securing your personal data while making less personal data accessible without requiring a password     Review for step countermisfit

Waited so long to get my misfit in the mail And then this app is completely worthless Wont sync with my misfit at all Ive walked around for 20 minutes and still it hasnt registered a single step You can find doctors but cant make appointments which is so nice to do via zocdoc or see patient reviews This app is just a bunch of bling ux is cool with absolutely no functionality Hoping for a fix in the future     Disappointed

I didnt think I would use a health insurance app much but this one is super useful I highly recommend usin it to synch steps and get Amazon rewards                 Useful and easy

My steps were syncing fine before installing the latest app update this morning but now theyre not The update notes actually say that syncing issues have been addressed with this update but for me it has completely broken this feature     Steps Not Syncing Since Update

I really like the company I mean healthcare is a sucky thing to have to deal with and at least they make it easy on the eyes But the app It should be affecting the way you act training you to be more active but the constant log outs and Misfit miscommunication is obnoxious They just made updates to step tracking and suddenly Im not tracking anything thats a downgrade fyi Theyre figuring it out but for now it needs some serious work        eh

First so far the insurance is pretty awesome so I appreciate the hell out of that especially where in NY I shelled out 1600 for an EMT to tell me I had a sinus infection which I already knew about And that was AFTER insurance paid Meanwhile both the app and the website are beautiful good ux and though less useful than Id imagine still not bad The Misfitmisfit should I say is a bummer The idea is amazing But apparently you cant use according to Misfit any of the other Misfit data via their app as it will screw up the info given to Oscar How many wearables can I wear Ive also had problems with the Oscar app crashing like mad which is incredibly frustrating I also support the idea of a separate app for just tracking steps Especially with the sensitive nature of my health info being separate from a basic step tracker Overall Oscar is great insurance lovely customer service and making quick strides in exciting ways to reimagine health for the American populous They just need to offer more valuable info on their siteapp and improve the apps performance           A lotta great a lotta crappy

This app is a great example of sacrificing functionality for simplicity I thought the website was hard to use a wrought with informational mistakes The app is worse Please work on verifying info for doctors and making more pertinent information clear     Needs Improvement

Love the concept of this app Useful And the Misfit tracking is a great idea But as with others the Oscar app only syncs a fraction of the steps recorded on the Misfit app No good deed goes unpunished right Oscar You should be able to fix this Please help us make February a 20 gift card month           Very good but could be better

Definitely an improvement from the previous versions The Touch ID sign in is great The steps seem to be tracking within the Oscar app And I was able to redeem my points and did indeed get my reward card Why only one star Because even with the pros above this is still in beta and not to be used as selling points For example my Apple Health app is showing I have almost 18000 steps today I walked a lot But what does Oscar think I walked Just over 7000 Gee thanks Lastly lots of you think the app stinks but like Oscar This is the App Store Rate the app If you want to talk about how great Oscar is use another rating system     Steps still not working well MONTHS later

Lots of info Love the step incentive The app gets an error message when it tries to sync w my misfit It does sync yet I get this message This is only since misfit updated their app If I turn off my Bluetooth and then turn back on it will sync get no error message Annoying but workable              Great app

the app logs you out so often which is annoying when you want to check you steps with the Misfit Get rid of the password protection or make it optional At least maybe allow you to check your steps without logging in     Logs you out constantly

The Oscar app is easy to use and I love that Oscar will send a Misfit Flash activity tracker to everyone on the policy who is 18 or olderand each day you reach your step goal you earn 1 credit on Amazon which can be redeemed when you reach 20 Smart way to get people to take better care of themselves which pays off for all involved The Oscar app makes it easy to find which doctors are participating providers ask questions about the insurance coverage etc Smart                 Great app

There have been serious issues with syncing the misfit Update this please Deleted Oscar and downloaded misfit app and it syncs fine Please fix it     Would give 0 stars

I have had the Oscar app for about 6 months now and have been using it with the misfit for about 2 months My first misfit only worked for about 3 days before it died but the new one seems to be working well The step tracking takes awhile to sync but its usually a quick process I have had to reinstall the app a few timesprobably 12 times a week because it stops syncing with the misfit which is a pain I appreciate the fingerprint login makes the whole process quicker The app needs work the fact that I have to do the reinstall at all is frustrating The steps arent transferring well between the health app Ill have 5000 steps on the misfit and only 300 will show up on the health app sort of strange I dont have much faith in the misfit I want to find out if I can swap it out with a better tracker for the reward points        Needs work

The design and functionality are great and the support I got when I needed care was easy to find                 Great app

Ive had good experiences with Oscar insurance and like the idea of the misfit wristband award program But the current iPhone app version crashes constantly and logs you out after a few minutes Once these problems are solved it will be a much better experience           Good company app needs work

I still dont understand how Health is tracking my steps at over 11000 now but Oscar only syncs 8000 How does this make sense     Steps from Health not syncing correctly
