The Orthodox PrayerBook is now available for $0.99 for both iPhone and iPad owners.The application is supporting English language. It weighs in at only 4.9 MB to download. The new Orthodox PrayerBook app version 1.0.1 has been updated on 2014-11-25. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. Here is the app`s compatibility information: Compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation), iPod touch (5th generation) and iPad. This a very nice app The calendar prayers are an asset when they re working Recently I ve been able to read the prayers but the calendar no longer lists the fasting days Saints of the day or daily Scripture reading I was also booted out of my profile and cannot update my username password Please address these glitches the app will be stellar         Some glitches KM Adrian

I like the utility of the app a lot However I can t give it 5 stars because there are no daily scripture readings Also the searching for friends feature only works if you specifically input names I d like to have it connect to my contacts and or Facebook friends                 A Handy App but OKC8100

I really love the layout of this app When scrolling through it gave me everything I was looking for Convenient access to prayers ways to curate a personal prayer list and a very streamlined attractive layout However I was a bit disappointed that there were only three jurisdictions to choose from Usually this wouldn t be a big deal but in my church we operate on the Julian Calendar So while my jurisdiction wasn t listed Carpatho Rusyn if I had been able to pick a different jurisdiction that also used the Julian Calendar I would have been able to get by If there were a way to make that a choice this app would be perfect As for now I ll be using this app along with a second one that provides me the information for readings for the day If there was an update that allowed the user to select if they wanted to use the New or Old Calendar this app would be perfect Great work                 I love everything except rachelprib

The content is similar to the Greek Daily Readings app but the design and look here is much better Since Orthodoxy has a significant digital presence with the podcasts and blogs on Ancient Faith Radio I was wondering why we didn t have until now a sleek modern looking app I also love that you can change the jurisdiction between Greek Antiochian and the OCA Only problem i see is that it sometimes doesnt load the readings saints and hymns for the day Five stars once thats worked out I dont normally write reviews but I am very excited about this app Great work                 Great app Very close to perfect cclover!!

I love this app I like that I can select my jurisdiction for prayers and the calendar looks right too I ve tried other calendars but this one is clean simple easy to use and appears more accurate OCA My only complaint is they deleted the you vs thou option so now the prayers appear as a mixture of both but the parish I attend uses thou Update while I like the feature that lets me put names into the General Intercessions I send a prayer request to myself I would like to be able to edit those requests fix my spelling errors for example                     Excellent app like the latest update Charisa OfMabinogi

The newest version is a great upgrade from the older one It looks good and it is smooth The only reason I didn t give it a full 5 stars is because there are a couple places that have typos I noticed one in the evening prayers In the prayer for forgiveness it says with time Only begotten and I believe it should say with thine It s a small mistake that I believe is easily fixable Also If they added the feature to put names of family members and friends in the general intercession and so on that would be very convenient Also if it is possible to integrate the calendar into Apple Calendar that would be cool Update I figured out how to add names into the general intercessions However I think it should be explained a little further for those who haven t figured it out yet You do it by sending a prayer request to yourself                 Overall a wonderful app Minor fixes needed AaronMWelborn

The prayer list feature is great That alone has made it a winner I still have my old tattered prayer book in hand for what I m used to but it s all good One fix not to have parents listed automatically in the prayers for the departed would be great I ve used prayer books printed in English from a few decades ago There seems to be changes to the Trisagion and morning prayers that are just throwing me off                     Updated Thrown off by wording but concept excellent kidyuschak
