This app disconnects when it is in the background that s bad design Unreliable Poor features No notifications Only worth using when you have to contact someone but not reliable to notify you when you have a message Also no options to use your cellular number as an alternate point of contact Doesn t stay connected in background and no notifications Costume Mom

Never written a review on the App Store before but beehive compelled me Read good reviews and don loaded and installed After starting the first time it said I needed to provision with oracle s central mobility and voice center That was odd but I moved forward It instructed me to tsp help for instructions I did tap help and it downloaded a super lengthy 26 PAGE PDF doc what My beehive experiment ended What was oracle thinking Garbage Is this supposed to be a joke Dave Hollister

Latest versions of Beehive Communicator is supposed to have nice features such as Push notification etc but it requires connection to certain server versions It is not clear how to connect Support Can these servers be published here on the App download page so we can update settings to take advantage of these features Need Server Info Reviewing Apps

While the latest version is a huge improvement there is one key function missing Ability to look someone up in the directory or the contact details for someone already in your buddy and add their info to an existing contact or add a new one This would be much better than having to call the person and then retype their name Contact Integration toddmh70

So far so good for those who may not know the provisioning steps it is easy At least in my company here are the steps I sign into my corporate Beehive homepage beehive central in my browser can be your computer or phone s safari click phone menu select checkbox next to my iphone not my VOIP phone that is registered then click the re register button This sends a text to my iphone which you then click the link It takes you to safari home page for beehive my company s url where you login one more time The available provisioning download for Oracle Beehive Mobile Communicator is now there to execute Put your beehive password in open the app and you are now good to go Works as advertised Provisioning is easy oranje pants

First off you have to provision the application from within Beehive You log into Beehive and add your phone number that will provision and configure the phone Pretty simple really Functionally works great for IM Hopefully search will work soon very useful

Im a beehive user and I downloaded the application Ive attempted to use it and all I get is a message that says beehive communicator is not provisioned There are no instructions on how to do this Needs work

This is really awesome app dude Gotta check it out Had good fun using the functionality available on it and also found some not so commonly features like Search flexible settings etc Best part is that its domain is defined So I dont have to worry about the security issues Way to go Beehive iPhoneUser

Have been looking for a way to IM over the internal messenger for a while Tried OnePush but didnt work This works great For those confused when oracle migrated to beehive you configure this the same way you did your iphone Register the device in your beehive account and it will send you a text with a link Go to the link in phone and click the messenger config link Either way my biggest disappoint is no push Come on oracle I am multitasking here Not sitting in an IM app What good is this if all i can do is IM PUSH PLEASE I want to be able to jump in and out of email and phone calls while still being able to receive IMs Three stars just for finally being able to contact co workers over IM from my phone But still a lot of work to be done Plus search just says my server doesnt support directory searching Cool but could be much better
