The best free MBTA tracking app that I know of Even if you have a favorite this is certainly worth a download so as you have another option available The update for iOS 8 brings the now familiar flat look and despite a few oddities it continues to work quite well                 Pretty Darn Good

I had an iPhone 4S and this app worked great on it I have since switched to iPhone 6 and the app is absolutely horrible It hangs doesnt allow me to check schedules etc basically you just cannot use the main functionality of the app on iPhone 6 Fix this and Ill change my revie     Doesnt work on iPhone 6

When this works it is great but too many times it just refuses to loaf when other apps are still responding     App not loading today its not the first time

This app was great and I used it daily for a few years however a few weeks ago it stopped providing real time arrival info for the subway only giving users scheduled arrival time information instead which is about as useful as having a schedule printed on paper I deleted and reinstalled it to no avail           Was great for a while but stopped giving real time arrival info only scheduled arrival times

Omg First update in 4 years Works under OS8 Useful for people familiar with the bus system You choose your bus by route number and the nearest stop is shown with estimated times If you do not know your route number this is not the app for you You cannot select a route based on your location This can be frustrating if youre in a different part of town than usual or you have multiple bus options as you need to punch in each route One route is displayed at a time so planning connections is cumbersome You can bookmark routes but lately that feature requires you to delete and recreate them when the underlying data changes I have been using this app since 2009 regularly There have been no updates since 2010                 Good utility

App frequently doesnt load data rendering it useless Its disheartening since it has the potential to be a really great app     App is unrealiable

Perhaps this app has yet to be updated to be functional with iPhone 6s iOS 8but 9 out of 10 times I open this app I cannot get the app to respond to anything I press Its quite frustrating     It doesnt respond

This app used to be wonderful now since ios8 its just frozen     ios8 killed this app

This app is pretty good for buses and for the red line but it doesnt have the branches of the green line so if youre at say park st and you need a specific branch you cant specify it just tells you whats coming next Very annoying           Okay but what about the green line

For some reason this app says all 4 and 5 buses are no longer running All the time What a joke Deleting this POS immediately     Horrible app

In Somerville I am getting realtime data for 200 pm at 800 am Please fix This app was so useful     stopped working

I updated this app today and it no longer works on iOS 7 even though 1 It didnt prompt or mention that it needed iOS 8 to run and 2 Many other apps updated for iOS 8 still work on iOS 7 No routes will show up in the list for the the subway bus etc no matter how many times I refresh or restart the app This is frustrating and disappointing as the app was working fine on iOS 7 until this update I would really like to see support added for iOS 8     Doesnt work on iOS 7

Used to swear by this app but it suddenly stopped giving real time info and only gives scheduled bus times now for several weeks what happened Scheduled times are of no real use since the bus is mostly off schedule Bring back real time info        What happened to real times

The arrival times at some locations are showing PM schedules instead of AM When you click on the next stop it will give an AM time but you dont know if its correct What the heck           Problems with arrival times

The real time data this app claims to display is more often than not wrong Arrival times are almost always 110 minutes off and phantom buses and trains are commonplace you will watch the little purple dot arrive at your stop and depart without an actual bus or train existing Seems like its just a visualization of the paper schedule which since its the MBTA is nowhere near accurate anyway     real time is a lie

This app works but could use an update to support modern iOS featuresdevices I keep it around because most apps dont have viewable schedules or allow saving favorite routes           Works as advertised but in desperate need of update

I swore by this app Got many friends to use it So Id like to say thank you for making it But in the last month it no longer gives accurate times for the routes in my area 89 and 101 Please fix it and Id be happy to change my rating to 5 stars     Used to love this app

Since the start of 2014 Ive noticed bus times suddenly jump past stops meaning Ive been waiting for a past bus This is happening a couple times a week As of today Im erasing this and trying another mbta app        Below Average

Its nicely written and easy to use but bears no reflection on actual bustrain times There appears to be no actual realtime data actually going on Its very frustrating to be told by it that a bus will come at a certain time and when that time comes have it simply move to the next scheduled bus time regardless of the fact nothing actually arrived It is useful for route maps and commuter rail schedules but you could just use the MBTA website for that     Would be nice if it was accurate

This app works great for traveling into and out of Boston I love how it gives me accurate schedules and realtime arrival times that reflect any delays a bus or subway line may be having I use it every day for my commute into work in Boston The bookmarks are an excellent feature that allow you to quickly check out your most used routes I highly recommend this app                 Excellent App

I have missed more buses with this app Final straw was when the app told me two different buses were coming in 5 mins with 7 mins between them I left the house and stood outside in 11 degree temperature for 20 mins when the next bus actually came Additionally I was also late for work Awesome Pass on this     Unreliable

This app does a very good job but there are three things that could transform it into greatness 1 Better distinction for Ashmont and Braintree lines when getting southbound info at JFK stations and north I know the data is separated this way If you are headed to Kendall for example its important to know whether the next train is an Ashmont or Braintree train in order to know if you need to run It would be especially great to be able to bookmark just the Ashmont line in order to clear out the distraction of the other trains 2 Display of realtime and schedule time at the station Right now it shows one or the other At stations close to the end of the line headed inbound this means either one realtime time or 3 scheduled times Why not always show 3 If there arent enough realtime times available fill in with scheduled times 3 Enable auto refresh You dont have to refresh to location every time Refresh the location once then refresh the realtime every 10 seconds Maybe a button to refresh the location if needed              Good but could be great

Great app until the alerts started popping up over every bus line and T line no matter where the change is You have to close the alert before you can view your options           Remove the alerts

As soon as I updated my iOS to version 8 and then also 82 the GPS function stopped working and that was THE best part Knowing just how long its really going to tKe for my bus to get here because everyone knows that schedule is unreliable        Use to be grade AAA 5 star keyword used to be

What happened This app tells me to remove all my bookmarks because there was a change to the data and then I cant get a single route to rebookmark When I updated still nothing How difficult is it to get updates correct Im actually glad this happened I found such a better app I would give open mbta no stars if I could     Seriously

Very good at showing stops Schedules are missing times Perhaps does not pull the data from the mbta site           Useful but inaccurate

The estimated arrival times are rarely accurate Sometimes Ill wait at a stop starting a few minutes before the estimated arrival time no bus will come and the app will switch to a new estimated arrival time often 10 minutes later Not helpful     Not accurate

Using the app for last 2 yrs and love it upgraded my phone now have iOS 8 and the app freezes or crashes all the time Please update              Please update

Used this often until one day I found it listed the wrong times for the outbound FraminghamWorcester line Depend on the MBTA site not this app     Wrong Schedule

I Was looking for a good bus schedule found this I like the real time it is close though I have had so problems that keep it at 3 stars some times it will not display the realtime and the estimated time is off I would like them to add notifications so you can chose a stop and have it tell you its there or tell you an eta when it is closer to your stop so if you know it takes 5 min to walk to your stop have it tell you its 10 min away so you give your self time to get there           Very good

I used to rely on this app for the commuter rail but it has not been updated with the new schedules The app needs to remain uptodate in order to be useful Please fix        Used to be great

Before I updated this is my best bus tracking app But after I updated the newest version I couldnt find any express bus anymore And I really really need it           Its good but

Not sure what happened but app cant pull in data from MBTA The app is at fault because NextBus online works     App stopped working

Great app until Im prompted to delete my bookmarks and rebookmark them Once I delete the bookmarks and try to search for the bus route commuter rail or train again to rebookmark all screens are blank This is awful if your in a time pinch as I was this morning           Awesome app until

I love this app I have used it for a couple years now without any issues Since the apple 7 update my mbta schedule is blank 90 of the time Now back to being simple to use                 Simple to use
