OnCue Plus

Time of next exercise shows incorrectly You cannot adjust exercise date and time from App There is so much more functionality that should be built into this App        OnCue Falls Short

When the app was released Kohlers servers were not ready took several days before a successful login and activation could be accomplished Once logged in and with the generator added to the list the accuracy of the information presented is way off compared to the pc based OnCue Alerts do not match the exercise schedules are not the same battery voltages do not match It is as if OnCue Plus is reading a dummy genset and not the one I have registered For example when running an exercise OnCue Plus did not acknowledge that the genset was in operation yet the pc version operated as normal This app is USELESS in its present state Update March 9th still No Joy Kohler should pull this app from the App Store until they get it to work     Not Ready For Prime Time

App works just fine Does everything as promised I appreciate the instant feedback that the generator has started up It is true that Kohlers servers sent out some bogus messages this past week but aside from that no problem           Its ok

All kinds of issues Times dont match screens not user friendly settings dont match generator panel Very difficult to set up Firmware on generator not compatible with apple Appreciate the effort but needs a lot of work Also it shouldnt cost extra this sort of connectivity is expected in 2015     Oncue is terrible

If this was the software app running our nations defense system God help us Never have seen such poor software ie it DOES NOT WORK Buy your home generator from another company than Kohler My home WiFi network router work beautifully but not this app     OnCue

This program is like buying MS Word and getting Notepad capabilities        Way Overpriced for Limited Features

I installed a new generator in May 2014 and included OnCue with the installation It took some work by the installer to get running over the course of a day or two but OnCue has worked fine ever since then I get alerts when the power goes off and the generator starts then again when power is restored I can see when my generator will exercise and I get alerts when it is in progress I can start and stop my generator from the mobile app My service company can also see what I see regarding my generator The data model appears to let me add more generators for other properties I own if I wish I will try that later this year There are little changes I would recommend but overall I find this works just fine on my iPad and iPhone              Works fine for me

Compared to the previous Windozeonly app this is a HUGE step up You get to see what your generator is doing including any alerts And configure notifications At the same time they upgraded the firmware and hopefully now the generator controller will properly handle the DHCP changes and so not lose contact with the mother ship                 Excellent View of Your Generator Function

I concur with the other reviews so far Even after the 142 update something is not working properly with the new OnCue Plus system If you currently have the old OnCue system keep it My experience is after successfully upgrading the OnCue PC application installing the latest 570 version of the firmware and installing 142 of the iOS app on my iPhone iPad everything worked finefor about 2 days Since that time although the mobile apps and the web app show information it is information that is at least a week outofdate The generator shows that it is connected to the OnCue system via the LCD display yet current information from the generator is not propagating through to the end user Connecting the OnCue PC application directly to the generator DOES show the propercurrent state of the generator so it feels like there is a server problem somewhere down the line Kohler corporate has proven not to be helpful only redirecting me to a local distributor who says its Kohlers problem     Halffunctional at best

I cant get it to work I called Koehler Their response is they cant get the new server to talk with the old server They are working on it And to think I was dumb enough to but a generator from this company     Does not work

Totally useless waste of time downloading after spending 500 on the on cue system I expected MUCH BETTER APP     NOT worth the effort to download

It would be great to be able to set time from app           On Cue Update

I simply would like to see this app stay logged in and not have to log in each time     Login

There is too many issues with this app as previous reviewers stated Also the Kohler server affects my generators controller At this point I had to disconnect it from the network Kohler fix this mess     Not good

The system works well in keeping us informed about exercise times but in the year weve had generator unit its never had to activate in powering the house Therefore too early to be confident in the programs abilities über stress                 Working fine

Not much to really write here the app crashes immediately after it starts     Crashes on startup

This app is just okay Has basic data instrumentation and status It lacks setting up notifications push notifications basic settings like setting time and date and no advance settings at all The Oncue desktop software blows this away in terms of feature functionality I hope they invest in this tool and that later releases are more robust        Leaves a lot to be desired

This program works well and provides info on RPMs lube oil temp controller temp voltage and frequency The ability to see this info anywhere you have Internet access is convenient and the emailtext messages that the generator is working well are reassuring An area for improvement is to show engine oil pressure instead of a reading of zero Ideally it would be nice to have all the flexibility of the original OnCue for parameter programmability but this is not critical              Kohler OnCue Plus

Better lots more to fix as nicely noted in other feedback this version does not send message when exercise cycle ends Need to fix that 20year Whats with that All of us spent hundreds for a connectivity software package Now a yearly fee That is not what we purchased Bait and switch Not a good approach     Better but

Ive had little to no issues with this app or the OnCue service There have been a couple of times the OnCue service was down for some reason but not for long My Genset connects perfectly fine and I really enjoy the fact that I can monitor and control my unit from anywhere                 Excellent

Kohler was not ready for a mobile application Customer service is very nice but after spending 350 for software plus installation I am about 750 into a system that I cant use on my phoneawful Still having problems connecting to their servers they say Poor excuse get your development team to fix it     Oncue plus software

On the Maintenance screen the Exercise State Time Last Exercise and Next Exercise show the correct date but all three report the wrong time There is no way to set the time within the app On the Event History the Controller Hrs are reported in hours where doesnt tell you the date For example 10340h really isnt useful information On the Controls screen the Next Excercise date is correct but the time is wrong For example if the the last exercise was run at 1030 am the the Next Exercise Date and Time should be 7 days later at exactly 1030 am           Shortcomings of OnCue Plus

The app looks nice but doesnt work because you cant login     Not ready yet looks promising

I reset password twice and still wont connect Connects on desktop fine Didnt work After looking into it more Think I need a firmware update Why not mention this in the app description     Doesnt connect

I had the original software on my laptop and I was happy when Kohler notified me that the app was ready They were wrong First I had to update the firmware on the controller outside with my laptop which then deactivates the laptop software I connected with my iPad but the app is poor I cant see dates and times on the app     Poor App
