Oddworld: Stranger`s Wrath

Ive been playing this on my iPhone 5s with a controller and max settings on everything but shadows and post fx and have had little to issues with frame rate Its a really fun game                 Great game

This game is a real hidden gem Its fun Its addicting The premise is so cool Stranger himself is cool There are actually some really funny dialogue in here If you got money to spare you cant go wrong                 Worth youre time and money

I loved this game when it came out Everything runs so smooth and it doesnt eat up my battery which is pretty impressive I wish there was more odd world games out there too                 Everything I expected

Hey Stranger Been a fan since the old Abe games when are you porting them and MUNCH to a touchscreen and this game is features some of the best plot twists taking a fun westernsteampunk setting and bringing in real emotion and high level action Its a fun combination of open world exploring bad guy punching talking to chicken people and octopus men and adding a bunch of first person shooter where you fire little animals from your crossbow like sniper wasps exploding bats and tribbles that bite The voice acting is fun and crude and the action gets intense with a huge midpoint twist The only concern would be that the game gets really tough even on on easy but you can look up solutions online But theres not really anything like this game on iOS I cant believe how emotionally involving the game gets and the port from Xbox is excellent on an iPhone 6 and above EXCELLENT Please bring all the odd world titles back from the steef graveyard so new generations can enjoy them A great deal of a game                 Fantastic and ODD

This game looks so cool from the screen shots but it is really just another game that wasted my money and it will waste yours also First of all the voice acting is awful The voices are not sinked to the mouth movements and what is with the spitting I think the creators of the game just got cheap and used some of the same voice clips over and over again Then when you actually are playing the game the bad guys take so long to kill so to make the game a bit quicker you have to capture the bad guys When you stun an enemy they are able to get up so soon that you end up getting shot at as you try to capture one of them Also once you lose health there is no way to recover it so you soon die if you are trying to capture multiple enemys in an area Also I dont know if this is just with my game but some times I get a direct hit on an enemy and they are not stunned I have played free games that are ten times better than this All in all the game is a waste Hopefully my review helped you to make your choice of weather or not to buy this game     I spent money on this

Seemed to get great reviews Maybe its just me but I couldnt get into it Seemed redundant and the graphics were terrible note I did play this on iPad 2 so maybe thats part of it Game play just didnt hook me Ive already deleted it     Couldnt get into it

I usually never write reviews for apps so here it goes This game is amazing and the character development is outstanding also I love the mysteries Sometimes when the character has a defined personality I really bond with the character and I feel his sadness when he is sad I cried during the last cutscene and I have never cries during a game before One thing I would the game to add a free play mode after you finish the game Also more bounties after you beat Sekto                 One of my favorite apps

Just how I remember from the console However I do not like how when I move the device the first person shooter Aimer moves and I do not know how to change that I feel like that should be an option you should be able to turn off and on                 Great

odd world strangers wrath is by far one of my all time favorite games and this is a great port Not as intuitive as playing it on the original Xbox with the controls              Nearly perfect port

Outstanding remake of a legendary game Oddworld has always made the greatest and most innovative games ever and this new Stranger is no exception                 Greatest app on the market

I beat the original Xbox version of this game and loved it Since then I cant believe that nobodys ported it to a modern console or other system This is a silly and fun shooter with great weapons to snag your bounties your way My only gripe is the controls are a pain to get used to But thats normal for most touch screen first person shooters An accessory game controller is recommended but not needed Excellent marks for allowing touch control layout customization in position and size of every button Users can also turn on or off the gyroscope in 1st and 3rd view This setting allows the player to tilt the iPad to aim the camera For iPad users turn your view distance to about 34 Anisotropy to 14 and resolution to about 12 to 34 for better performance without sacrificing graphics too much There is quite frequent mild cursing for those concerned with it For those of you whimpering about the sounds bad jokes and spitting STOP WHINING ya wet behind the ears greenhorns Yes the sounds are ridiculous and repetitive but remember this was pretty innovative for a game almost 15 years old              Finally a modern port of this lost gem

I got to be honest theres parts of me that want to like this game but then theres parts of me that find it absolutely revolting boring not going anywhere I do enjoy that its a semi open layout game But man the graphics are terrible the controls are sloppy I do enjoy that its a beat them up which for some reason iTunes doesnt have a lot of and I always do enjoy a good adventure beat them up game        Eh

My son and I loved to play this game Great story line not your typical antagonist We are waiting for the next one to come out so we can again play and conquer If we wouldnt have kept on may not have enjoyed because seems difficult at first but one controls are mastered the fun begins No interruptions and once you buy no more having to spend on upgraded guns and other bs like other games We enjoyed and just hope there are more to come like this                 Great Game 100 recommended

Controls work very well You can scale the graphics with your device so it will run even on older I devices Gameplay is as good if not better than the original got to admit the touch controls and gyroscope for aiming influenced my rating a lot Cant seem to list anything that bothers me or any issues in game so 5 stars                 As close to a console the version as you will see

Really impressed with this game The graphics are incredible virtually Xbox 360 level and runs perfectly smooth on my iPhone 6 plus Touch controls are on point and easy to get used to The gyroscope function is a nice touch And look at the price Long game too so you get a lot for your money Highly recommended                 Great value

This is the best game on my iPad mini Although I do wish that it didnt swear so much I would recommend this game to anybody who likes a challenge The footage it amazing Love how you can go anywhere Nothing is wrong with the game it never ever stops you from playing the game                 Awesome game

If youre worried about this game running smoothly on your device dont There are performance settings thank god and I keep everything at half to keep a smooth frame rate So Im giving this 5 stars because I completely support this and I see that updates are consistent and fix bugs every time One problem I do have is when I lower the camera distance down all the way or at all really the camera flickers a lot and its really frustrating so I gotta keep it at the default setting But aside from that Its great And the gyroscope really really helps with your aiming                 Well worth my money

Good game however touchscreen joystick is extremely iffy Normally when it would glitch out at inconvenient times it was no problem Id just reload last save But towards the end there is a timed level I cant progress through simply because the joystick glitches and since its a timed level I cant recover from fritzy controls I even tried closing all background apps Hopefully I can beat the game but this is extremely inconvenient and frustrating Something to keep in mind for people unsure of buying Getting a good review simply because I love oddworld games              Good until the end

If youre the least bit interested even just a tiny bit get this game 3 is a bargain for this amazing game If youre worried about controls dont be as it lets you set the layouts of buttons and change even the visual performance if things start getting too pretty for your phone or iPad which it will eventually but not too hard on tool your using As for the gameplay the description for the game about sums it up and from there its hunting outlaws mission to mission varied environments keep everything fresh and youll be upgrading and bagging bounties like a pro in no time One other thing worth mentioning Ive played this on PS3 and the original Xbox years ago but found each time with a controller I played the game way too fast paced to appreciate the slower pace you can take in this game being stealthy but thanks to playing this on my phone I naturally started playing a slower pace and using all the stealth I could so far its dealt very rewarding Though I honestly thought the slowing of pace thanks to touch controls would make things worse it definitely does not in the end because with this slowness to start youll be able to handle the faster parts later when you have the controls down so well 810 port to a 910 game              A great port to a close to perfection console game

If youre ready for hours of frustrationdownload this game In any sequence where you cannot use stealth or easily hideyou will be killed again and again as the dual controls of moving the stranger and aiming are too cumbersome to manage when youre being attacked by 810 enemies at once 1 star for the effort of trying to port a great gamepoor execution though     iPad controls make it unplayable
