This is a lot of fun I m using an iPad Pro and it works great with the latest ios version etc Magical sound and the unique arrangement of the keys forces the creativity out of you sort of like finding a new tuning on guitar Enjoy                 So much fun to play Mkeymont

Really impressed with the craftsmanship and quality of this app One reviewer dropped a star because you can t custom tune which would be a bonus but they include a large library of preset tunings unlike other hang drum apps This is truly one of the best musical apps in the App Store Get the paid version it s worth every penny                     A wonderful instrument excellently rendered Not just a toy Future Frequency

I have an iPad air and the touch response time is at least to me on this tablet perfect They even have the flat spot of the hang programmed to the outside so you can get the full compliment of sounds that you would expect from a real hang This app is my meditation zone until I can afford a real hang Very we ll done We just need to be able to export the music we make and do some layering now Hope they push this app to the next level Great great start                     Does Daniel wap less know about this app Jawshoewah

Anyone who doesn t like this app is way too picky and probably doesn t know how to use it The tones are high quality sound and you can play multiple notes at the same time This is also the closest most will come to this fascinating instrument since they are all 2000 and up if you ever get the chance to be a waiting list for an instrument like this Nice job guys great app                     Sounds great lots of scales Earthmamarootsgirl

The tones are good but tap recognition is completely off and inconsistent Tapping the same spot at various times can give you the wrong tones not overtones the completely incorrect tone like the one that should be next to it or the gong Don t waste your money I would gladly delete this app for a refund Utter crap     Terrible app MellaMo24

I installed this app this morning and was unable to actually hear anything Frustrated I contacted support and got instant help Guy was patient and very helpful thru out an exchange of emails till I finally figured out how to change the needed settings in order to hear this app Visually pleasing responsive on the notes and you can choose many scales to experiment with If you are one of the many hoping and waiting to actually get your hands on a RL Handpan this is a great way to explore the scales and set up And you can record what you play I own a Zen Tambour tank style drum and while I adore it I do hope to one day own a Halo or one of the other great handpans out there Lots of fun Thanks Guy                     Very helpful tech support Toomanynickstaken3

I love the hang drum I couldn t recommend this app though because it is unplayable I m a percussionist and the latency is so high I cannot play anything on this I deleted it after a day If you are not a musician and are interested in what a hang drum sounds like don t get this There are plenty of good hang drum recordings to listen to If you are a musician don t get this It s absolutely unbearable from a performance point of view My guess is that this was released to cash in on the popularity of the hang drum     Latency is way too high to play Superfly76

maybe it s worth it Just don t expect to produce anything great I love the sound of the hang but this app bears only a passing resemblance to the warm and rich sounds that I hoped for Most disappointing is the beginning of the sound when you strike the hang instead of a warm sound there is some kind of clang as if the people playing the hang for the recording were using sticks to hit it instead of their hands This pretty much ruined it for me Multiple tunings are great but if every single note sounds like this I consider it money wasted         For a dollar hanginchina

This app suffers from the same issue as every other touchscreen musical instrument latency This however is an issue with touch screen instruments all over the app store Bottom line this shouldn t be used as a professional instrument but as an app it s pretty fun                 Small issues Redhatcore

I m a Juilliard trained professional percussionist Perhaps this app and other similar apps weren t developed for professional musicians but this one and many others could be used by professionals if one issue was addressed latency For anyone who isn t familiar with that term latency refers to the tiny delay between the moment your finger actually touches the screen and when you hear the sound It is typically measured in milliseconds Interestingly just about anyone can notice if latency is greater than about 15 20 milliseconds You feel the delay If you don t have a solid sense of rhythm or aren t accustomed to playing real acoustic percussion instruments you might not notice it but anyone else can The latency in this app is high I d estimate at least 20ms which is unacceptable for real performance by a trained percussionist or anyone with a solid sense of rhythm Otherwise the app is fine The samples are good in spite of what someone said elsewhere and the recording feature is great I also love the huge variety of scales excellent idea If you only play very s l o w l y the latency isn t an issue But try to play some fast rhythms and you ll see the app trip all over itself to keep up and your rhythms will be mangled Another issue is polyphony or the app s ability to let every note ring decay to it s fullest even when other notes are being played at the same time This app seems to have limited polyphony because during faster attempts at complex rhythms some notes were cut off I m not singling out this app for criticism there are MANY music apps in the App Store that suffer from these identical issues I m not a developer so I have no idea if these problems are caused by limitations in the iPad s hardware and or operating system Trust me when I say that for ANY app that relies on making a sound happen when you touch the screen latency is the number one issue that separates these apps from being a toy for non musicians versus being a viable instrument that can be used for performance by real musicians Polyphony is a close second But to the developers of this app if you can get latency down to no more than 10ms or less and if you can raise polyphony to at least 16 notes or more then you would have a FANTASTIC app that I would rate 5 stars But alas with these problems I ll have to only give it 2 stars Scott W         Great potential but latency and polyphony are problems SWriverstone
