Love this app! Contrary to some reviewers, I`ve had absolutely no problems reading on my iPad 3. Even though I dislike apps with ads, I`m not overly annoyed by those in this app, perhaps having to do with screen real estate. Well thought-out, beautiful UI, easy to get to favorite sections, and lots of multi-media content. But the real heavy-weight here is the content: can`t beat the Times for news, opinion, and criticism.
Really good app that could be great with some improvements

I love the layout of the app. The only thing I`d really like to see added to it is the ability to read article comments like on the website. I enjoy reading the comments as much or more than reading the articles. Other than that, this is my preferred source for news.

The NYT app is a `killer app`. While I know that there are improvements to be made, I appreciate the many improvements it has made since it was first introduced. I love the sections access, the auto refresh that I can control, and the presentation of the entire page so I can get a idea of how the editors spatially laid it out -- before I dig into the content. I especially like the ability to download it before I take off on a flight. BTW, I haven`t cancelled the home delivery of the newsprint version; now my husband can read, smell, and still get the ink on his hands, without delaying me from catching up on the very latest news with video from the best newspaper I`ve ever read!
