NY times has always been a trusted source of everything thing for me I have tatty much loved Molly ONeill recipe book now I can access even more NYT recipes on my smartphone like great Mark Bittmann recipe for banana bread Interface on app is logical easy to use Another home run NYT                 NY times recipe app rocks
It is a very beautiful and functional app but it takes up way too much space In a matter of 6weeks the app has grown to over 600 GB That is excessive If you have space constraints bear that in mind           Bloats Very Quickly
Love this App Found recipes I couldnt find on other recipe Apps                 Awesome
Love the recipes and really my only complaint is that I cant export a shopping list of ingredients to anylist or other grocery list app              Great content with missing feature
If youre like me and saved the Food Dining sections of the NYTimes every Wednesday this app is for us So many recipes so little time I have had no problems with the app Recipes saved is synced instantly from web desktop to iPad to iPhone Absolutely LOVE this app Great job NYTimes                 The NYTimes food section on your iPad
If only there was a way to print a recipe without searching for it on the Times website I do not take my iPad into the kitchen when I cook so I always print a copy of the recipe for convenience I also have found the same issues concerning the syncing of my recipe box from various platforms Apparently recipes are saved locally rather than in the cloud so I will be very careful when I buy a new iPad to make sure I have a list of the recipes for an easy redownload           5 Stars for content 15 for the app
I adore using this app in my kitchen and for earl planning However even since recent updates the app is buggy The keyboard doesnt work well and saved recipes often disappearits annoying I of course will keep using this nearly everyday but hope developers will make updates soon           Love this app but often buggy
Quite proficient and serves as a great virtual cookbook with recipes ranging from the simple to the grand and too numerous to count My personal favorite component of this app would be the Learn to Cook guide Teaching basic skills like sautéing and filleting fish My only suggestion to the makers Please make more Learn to Cook videos for hopeless coking oafs like me Thanks you              Adept App but
I cant type an o into the search feature It will not respond     Freezes up
This is a great resource for a true novice in the kitchen Im always looking for some new way to serve up dinner One thing missing is the shopping list Please add that                 Wonderful app
On my iPad this app uses 1 gbyte of storage after using it for a short time Why           Data hog
This is a beautiful app that has a good collection of recipes My only criticism is the ratings dont include comments I find other cooks comments helpful              Great visuals
One of best apps out there for cooking But some of the recipes dont have any photos other than that I really love this app                 Perffffff
I search for recipes on my desktop then use my iPad as a cookbook in the kitchen Even when I log in to the app with the exact same ID and PW none of my recipes show on the app Zero I have well over a hundred plus collections in my account I use other online cooking sites with apps and my saved recipes synch with my account Mac users are spoiled NYT We expect everything to synch seamlessly Fix this and Ill rereview     No Synch
I cant believe it Ive updated and somehow against all odds my recipe collection is intact Or at least what Ive rebuilt after all the issues with previous updates This is great news for all of us who love to use the iPad as a cooking and recipe resource This is a very enjoyable app to use with variety and well thought out recipes and collections It is in my opinion one of the overall best cooking app available So hopefully the problems so the past are truly in the past and we can build and keep a great index of recipes Thank you for working it out Its been very frustrating to lose so many saved recipes and our recipe organization In the future please add the ability to see notes and maybe a link to a recipe that is referenced in the one being viewed such as a sauce etc Ratings and comments of recipes as well could be improved              NYT is it possible
What use is a collection of recipes if you cant search it Look for chicken for example and just ONE recipe comes up     Cant find what I want
Great selection of recipes that tingle the tastebuds and spark the culinary imagination Paired with gorgeous photos and instructional videos Must have companion in any kitchen                 Favorite cooking app
Last update messing things up Cant type anything in search box without keyboard disappearing after each letter or symbol is typed in Needed to resurface the keyboard after each letter to complete search        Love app but
Great design use and content Could use a little help in the search department and I could not find how to save entire collections in one action Over all superb                 Top notch app
One of the best cooking apps right up there with Joy of Cooking Beautiful minimalist design and intuitive UI                 Amazing cooking app
I love this app and find myself using it ALL the time But I agree with other reviewers that it needs a notes section Also Id really like to see all NYT recipes in the app example Mark Bittmans recent article and recipes for quick pickles which was in the online edition but not in the app Otherwise its easy and fun to use              Love it but needs tweaks
Nice App I guess if Im ever able to save a recipe I like Every time I try to save a recipe Im asked to log in Every time I try to create an account it tells me to check my spelling which makes no sense and it extremely frustrating        Nice App cant create an account
And find myself saving recipes in Safari and same recipes appear saved in the App LIKE MAGIC                 Love it Use it all the time
STILL no printing from app Why It seems like there is not much point in using the app vs the website since I gave to go to the website anyway if I want to print a recipe        No printing from iPad app
The best feature of the web pageof which I am a huge fanis that you can plug in ingredients from the fridge that need to be eaten and come up with recipes that combine them The app just gives you all the recipes for ingredient A plus all the recipes for ingredient B What a disappointment Ill go back to the web page until someone fixes this Give us recipes with spinach AND figs        Cant search multiple ingredients
Fine so far I just started to use it and start a collection              Fine so far
I tried to do a search for Cod Search says No Results End of App     No help at all Will delete
Many great recipes cocktails soups salads fish etc                 Delicious recipes easy to use
Great recipes easy to use We use it all the time                 Whats not to love
Wont let you close the app short of a hard reset Way to go Times Way to go Apple for letting this POS through     Locks up your iPad
Very useful to me like ability to check ingredient lists at store or make a quick meal plan on the go                 Use this app alot
Great on both iPad and iPhone Excellent recipe contents superb organization easy searches personal favorite recipe list by category But no shopping list management from the ingredients in selected recipes Glaring omission please fix              Great but Needs ingredient list
This app has become indispensable in my daily life Great functionality especially now that it syncs with Evernote A terrific selection of recipes Love this app                 A musthave
I love this app Its beautiful and easy to use Looking forward to seeing how it syncs with Evernote as I am forever looking for that one perfect place to keep all my recipes Only note a bit too many newsletters each week One a week would be fine Still they are fun to read              love it
Have been using the app for several months and saved quite a collection of recipes and created collections for ones we really like Got a new IPad and installed the app on it Despite having a login on the app none of my recipes were saved Seriously rookie app move Anything with a login should save preferences and in this case recipes between devices        Seriously annoyed
Want to learn to cook better Need new ideas and inspiration This app is for you                 A great resource for the home cook
This is the recipe app I have dreamed ofgorgeous but attainable photography clear instructions delicious results Easy to find categorize save and share The best chefs These recipes really work and theyre fresh and innovative                 Dreamy
I see the star ratings but am I missing how to see who wrote them Is there no Epicurious equivalent where reviewers can write comments I always read the reviews before tackling a recipe because you can see the patterns emerge cut the sugar not enough heat too watery and adjust or anticipate The stars are a little meaningless without context Also I accidentally hit the stars and rated a recipe I never cooked and there was no way to undo The reviews saying the saved recipes dont sync are a little alarming              Great So Far But
I really want to like this app but I have different recipes on the app then when I am reading the NYTimes and look at a recipe in the food section In other words when I save a recipe while reading the paper they appear in that recipe box but when I go and open the app the recipe is not there Its not syncing the recipes If I do a search while in the app and happen to find the recipe that is in the paper then I can save it and its in the app recipe box Its kind of a pain having to go back to the newspaper to find a recipe and it would be nice if when I press SAVE on a recipe in the newspaper it would be saved in the NYTimes cooking app        Annoying
I have used this app and recipes for several months It is the first place I go when I need new ideas The filter is precise the recipes allow me to prepare excellent dishes and the variety of recipes is outstanding Love useful apps and this is on the top of the list                 My goto for recipes
Just downloaded app LOVE IT                 Just a First Impression
Why is there no option to Print from the App           Printing
Great app Add a comments section to the app and it would be perfect              Good and getting better
I love this app the concept that is The recipes are greatwhen you can find them The search function doesnt work well And I cant save the recipes in the appropriate folders in fact I cant start new folders Its a shame So much potential Please NYT do something about it     Wonderful idea poorly executed
That is so useful                 Thanks
Love the app Like the update to save recipes from other websites Just find it difficult to use the feature to organize the recipes into categories              Needs tweaking
Easy to use and the recipes tried have been excellent My go to app for recipes and cooking Highly recommend                 Top notch site for great recipes
Beautifully done with recipie intros by Times contrbutors Search for recipes And use daily features such as 12 veggie pizza recipies Presumes you know where your kitchen is and how to turn on stove but options for beginners as well as veterans              Even the photos taste good
The notes feature is pretty great Would love if I could save recipes from other sites to my recipe box so I could write notes on those as well                 Love the update
I always love NYT recipes and this is a great way to get them all in one place Easy to search and save to cook later Love the cooked feature that allows you to mark what youve made already Wonderful for those of us who always use our phones for recipes while cooking                 Great interface and recipes
