I paid the 199 because I was hoping it would do a better job at showing me where the subway stations were located than the free app It does However typing in a landmark or address does not work you get Geocoding failed with OVER QUERY LIMIT A spelling error Bokmark indicates this was not thoroughly tested before asking people to pay Wait until the next release If they fix it up might be worth paying for Not ready
Its a great app I like it Great
I was using this app all day and I had noting but good marks for it Was a life safer getting me around NYC like a native But by 11pm the app wont let me make anymore queries because I have gone over the limit of usage I paid for I guess anyway as I cant find anything to tell me what that limit is other than a message Over the limit
This app crashes I also thought you could do more with it besides picking to and from destinations I was led to believe you could see mta service advisories And its difficult to scroll through stations Bad app
Works offline steps you through the trip using the MTA map Nice job Finally for the subway
Ive lived in NYC for 14 years and have had an iPhone for 6 years and Ive tried 45 subway apps This is my 2nd favorite subway app after Exit Strategy Yes you can download service advisories My only complaint is the schedules are a few minutes off but thats probably the subway not the app Very useful for approximate times of train arrival and length of trip and connections You can also look up schedules for different times of day Very useful and well designed
It would be more helpful if Penn Station was listed in the search You can find it listed under 34th Street but as visitors to the city we didnt realize that was the nearest street A little disappointing
Very easy to follow Good to have this handy Great app
