In 1960s, when the Cold War was at its peak and the world`s two superpowers were locked in a nuclear arms race, the U.S. Government Printing Office published a handy slide rule for estimating the ...
Something most people will never get to see in person and very intelligently presented for the iPad format Actually works Please update for the next revision of iOS so we can continue to enjoy this                     Really great implementation of a piece of history Kevin37753
Wish the whole slider was shown past 3mt             Decent Plaguex1
The actual book and ruler can be pretty expensive so this is a nice find Something to note this isn t a game it s a tool This is exactly what it promises to be                     What I ve always wanted Xipoid
I did not like the game you can t even blow up stuff Don t get apps like this     Dumb EpicZombie245
I too have the original Lovelace calculator this has the feel of the real thing A dream come true and you don t have to risk damaging the real thing                     True to form Gfpguy1
I have the original I love this Nice app                     Great Nuketroop
First of all I am a fan of slide rules and I have to say that this app did an incredible job of replicating the function of a circular slide rule While it may be alarming that such an app is needed I m glad someone is doing it I should say why I didn t give a full 5 star rating First because there is no pinch out zoom function that would make visibility easier in some of the areas of the rule that are small print of fine precision numbers The other thing I would suggest is a image lock that would be stored in a history essentially giving you a memory function This would give you the ability to compare several scenarios in succession Then you could just tap the history button s back or forward direction to see the different solutions on the rule                 Great job SlideRuleFan
I learned a lot of new things                     Great app Lupaclk
This app stirs up some bad memories about some bad times Growing up during the Cold War was not easy Using a slide rule was even harder     Handy slide rule Brills
