Since updating I haven t been able to use this nor the professional app Look up a word and you get a random word on the Swedish side of the app Example look up ord the english translation is off hand Virtually word is similarly wrong     Was Pretty Good Unusable after iOS 8 jellybreadracer

I spent my first few years in the United States the next twenty five in Sweden and then moved back to the US I used the paper version of this pocket dictionary for many years back when there were no PDAs smartphones or tablets I am glad that I can now read this book on my iPhone Pros easy to use and understand both when I know a word in Swedish but not English and when I need to translate a word from English to Swedish Cons limited vocabulary and limited translations This is a pocket dictionary after all                 Good electronic version of their pocket dictionary Bilingual3

Though the online sites have their strengths in different ways this app takes the cake with a wealth of good words and accurate translations                     Much better than bab la C6 H12 O6 Mama

I really like the quiz and grammar features but what this dictionary lacks is phonetic transcription IPA for Swedish words I have to use Collins Mini Gem Swedish English audio dictionary because this app doesn t have IPA in Swedish while it does so in English Additionally it needs more example sentences in Swedish parts of speech and semantic usage help You should also be able to click and search on any word There really isn t a complete dictionary for Swedish out there so I hope they improve this one             Good dictionary but could be better Philippe331
