I got a push notice on my iPad Was interested so I attempted to read it Nope All my news is stuck on Wednesday Yes I did try reopening app and yes I am current on all updates     Negative comment

I love getting notifications about local news from this app but it is intensely frustrating that when I tap that notification all it does is open the app It does not take you to the story and in some cases you cant even find the story by using the search feature This seems like a pretty basic thing but it doesnt work I guess that in that sense the app is more New Orleans than it means to be but in the negative sense     Notifications dont link to stories

I used to love the TP app but it had gone downhill since the most recent update The news is always very old and theres more sports than anything else The old format was much better     Update is awful

I actually liked the previous version of this app This new version 1 Crashes regularly 2 Has difficulty recognizing swipe direction when reading a story 3 Doesnt present front page news upon open defaults to a heavy dose of sports updatesand I am a Saints and LSU fan and I still think it is too much 4 Puts repetitive stories on the front page as if there is no professional editing It seems like it was an effort to upgrade the app that destroyed the functionality it had previously They should seriously look at the previous version of the app Though it wasnt as flashy it presented news clearly and easilysomething that was very appealing and lacking in this new version     Terrible app update
