Bot this almost 2 yrs ago Scriptures r missing its not paced well and gobible DOES NOT LISTEN OR CARE or fix it     Dont but

The volume needs to be normalized There should be a way to show what you have listened to already There is an annoying bug that randomly repeats a chapter and stops highlighting the verses that are currently being read your progress and bookmarks should be able to be synced between iOS devices I think you should have a higher quality home screen icon Besides these few comments this App is a great resource and I listen each day on my way to work           Pretty good but needs a few things IMO to be great

I love being able to listen to the bible while Im getting ready for work in the morning And Im really happy that it picks up where it left off now This app is worth every bit of the price                 LOVE this app

Please give us the choice in letter size from small to very large Otherwise I like it Thank you              Letter Size

I dislike that the pauseplay feature doesnt work with my Bluetooth headset I like listening at work and have to stop what Im Doing to go to the phone to pause it rather than from The headset I also dislike that isnt fluid I would like it to just read through with no stops or selecting        Cant just sit back and listen

I bought this app especially for the audio BibleInAYear feature I have an hour commute and wanted to go through the bible at an accelerated rate When the app is closed and reopened it does not resume where you left off it starts at the current date With a Go To Day feature I could easily navigate to the day I left off Unfortunately I must hit the forward arrow how ever many daysnecessary to get to where I left off A great feature would be 1 Go to Day or 2 Specify how many days you want to take to go through the Bible I do not think I would have spent the money for the app if I had known that I would not be able to get ahead more easily I would have loaded my Zondervann Audio Bible on to my iPhone and gone start to finish Otherwise this is a good application              Good App Better with smarter Bibleinayear feature

I love that this version is indexed by versenot chapter Would love it even more if it was dramatized I know the other version that is dramatized is only indexed by chapter Better yet just combine all the features of this app with the features of the dramatized version just make it one big app Also having the option to search a book alphabeticallyon the spin wheelwould be helpful if you dont have all the books memorized by old or new testaments One last thingGods words printed in red              kick it up a notch

First I need to state that I really like this app and its ability to begin reading at any verse thanks to verselevel indexing Ive been using the app a lot and I dont regret the purchase However if I happen to find a more polished verseindexed audio Bible app I will probably jump on it Aside from the nice verselevel indexing this app is buggy and very light on features and polish I like simplicity but at 2399 its disconcerting to see the last app update version 123 was posted in June of 2011 almost 21 months ago This seems to indicate the developers are resting on their laurels At least for me there are passages eg Gen 391923 where the text highlight stops advancing correctly and each of the verses plays twice with a couple of the verses being slightly truncated This happens in the same places on both my iPhone and my iPad There should be automatic saving of reading position when the app is closed and restarted Users can currently get around this by always setting a manual bookmark just before closing the app but it seems like this same application code for saving bookmarks could be leveraged to automatically create a hidden bookmark at application close Then if a hidden bookmark exists at startup the app could set the wheel pointers to the correct chapter and verse then delete the hidden bookmark That would be much better than nothing and you could make it optional via app preferences which dont currently seem to exist The ability to set a stopping place needs real improvement You can set a bookmark with an end verse but this feature is buggy If you want to span chapters eg starting in Genesis 5 and ending in Genesis 6 the verse number for the end verse must be equal to or greater than the verse number for the starting verse In other words you can set Gen 515 Gen 615 or Gen 515 Gen 616 but if you attempt to set Gen 515 Gen 614 the end verse you enter will just overwrite the starting verse and there will be no end verse configured at all And occasionally the app will crash when attempting to configure a bookmark with an end verse although I havent figured out how to reliably duplicate the crash More reading plans would be nice and a different navigation system instead of the wheels Olive Trees Bible Maps has a very nice Go To setting called Compact Grid but I wouldnt want any such enhancements unless the more basic bugs and shortcomings are addressed first Finally several other reviewers have mentioned valid issues that I wont repeat here All in all this app is useful and Im thankful for it With either the issues addressed or the price lowered dramatically I would be able to recommend it without serious reservations           Glad to have it regardless of issue

This app is missing some basic reader functionality like the ability to restart a reading from where it left off If you get an interruption or switch apps there is no way to restart where you were Im told that a new version with this capability has been sent to Apple for approval Most excellent app when resume is incorporated           Important features missing

just got this on sale definitely worth it at the lower price too its not the prettiest app but the content is great breaking the bible down by story and topic is great and the search is very cool                 yay

Id like to be able to loop playback for one chapter to assist with memorization Other than that Im happy with it              Please add ability to repeat a chapter on a loop

Its expensive but useful and nice app if you like listening to audio bible I think its well designed with useful functions Suggestion 1 Is it possible to have more options for the bible reading plan Eg Having the ability to read the bible in 90 days etc 2 And the biggest complaint is that when the reader goes from one verse to the next there is a slight pause in the audio that is hard to get use to I know that one postive functionality is to scroll to any verese in the chapter and you can pick up the audio from there But the slight pause is really annoying when you are listening Can you do something about that Otherwise its agreat app but not perfect           Very nice

This audio Bible is simple to use and works very reliably I had been using a free audio Bible for several years but it had increasing problems with freezing not going on to the next chapter etc GoBible just works The voice quality is excellent and you can place a bookmark and the next day start where you left off The verse that is being read is highlighted as the narrator speaks This app is well worth the money                 Just what I was looking for

this program makes carrying The Bible with you everywhere now possible Access to inspirational texts are quickly available and can be listened to in privacy Topics for sermons and discussions are quickly available with many useful references We will be using this program tonight in our mens Bible study group It is amazing Thanks                 Terrific

You can book mark were you left off at by hitting the pause button on the verse you want to stop at then hit book mark button and it shows the verse you left off at just bookmark that verse I like how it highlights the verse as it reads the text makes it easy to follow                 Great app

This really helped me memorize whole chapters of scripture by just immersing myself in them while taking long drives The background audio is awesome now that its updated My only issue is why did you make it purple Dont assume only chicks use this hook me up with some color options lol                 Really great tool

this is an awesome audio bible great voice tone it also has text unlike some bibles are just audio Only con is not have this bible in NRSV because i would get both also the 1 second delay inbetween every verse the cons are an actually con it still worth buying it would make a benefit but 5 stars                 Awesome

I love this app Especially nice to know how to pronounce some names and locations in the bible that I was unsure about before Would be great if this app would work in the background Five star app if that ability was given              Needs to work in the background
