I regret purchasing this app It constantly changes my words and is annoying I can type faster without it I dont feel I need to go on saying my opinion but I suggest a trial period for a day before you are stuck with it     Delete it

The fastest most responsive and elegant keyboard out there Developer is amazingly responsive and interested in the development Although this keyboard is not easy to master is way better than any swipe keyboards out there and can make you type faster than on desktop keyboards He should allow theme selling in order to make more money and be able to continue to provide top notch development to this app indefinitely                 Best Keyboard Ever

I absolutely love this keyboard but the frequency of the crashes makes it a difficult love It almost always happens in iMessages about 40 of the time Please please please fix so my live can be unrequited           Best keybord except for the crashes

Love using the keyboard wish it was more reliable More often than not when I tap on a text field to type the keyboard wont appear Have to force close the app for the keyboard to show up Find myself going back to the iOS keyboard for reliability           Great when it works

I have been using Nintype since it was a test tweak on Cydia It since has revolutionalized the way I type on my iphone The key feature of Nin that distinguishes itself from other swipe keyboards is that when you swipe a word or part of a word it doesnt automatically autospace That may seem like that is actually a missing feature but what this allows is for you to type a single word by pieces You can use two hands if you want for maximum pace For example lets say I swipe the When I let go the cursor will be immediately after the e I can then press the spacebar to move onto the next word or I can continue swiping to do more of the word I may then swipe re which will make the word there OR I could swipe y just swipe to the apostrophe which would be an incomplete word for now If I then swipe re then I will have the word theyre all complete Autospace can be turned on if you really want or you can turn on timed autospace so you can continue swiping a word in pieces unless you wait for a short moment What you will soon learn is that literally everything in Nintype is customizable You will be amazed at the amount of options The keyboard can be themed exactly how you want it with complete control over each color and a wealth of animations at your fingertips These themes can even be saved and shared with others A huge feature of Nin is the amount of shortcut options it has I cant list all of the different types of shortcuts you can do but as an example I have it set so that if I hold down b for a moment and then let go it automatically inserts my email address Holding on s for a moment will inset a smiley face and f a frowney face There are many incredibly useful shortcuts built in too that of course you can change For example swiping up from I o or p will automatically insert s There are so many different types of shortcuts that you will have fun learning about A huge feature of Nin is its word learning If you peck type one letter at a time a word nin will automatically learn the word so you can swipe it later Whenever you swipe a word Nin will upvote it so that the word will be more likely to come up as the first option when you swipe a certain combo of letters If a word you swipe shows up wrong you can swipe up and down from the spacebar to cycle through the options which you can view always from the heavily customizable topbar When you swipe away from a word it will be downvoted for the future You can even completely control the calculations of word popularity You can instantly change a word to all caps all lowercase or start with a caps which for these you can set to be for just this instance or for whenever you type this word Nin comes with a battery saver mode you can instantly turn on It also has a calculator built in where you can for example type in 22 and it will automatically insert 4 into what you are typing Nin comes with many different languages where you can set multiple at the same time I have set so that it defaults to English but will automatically switch over to Spanish when it detects I am trying to type in Spanish There is landscape support where the keyboard will split in the middle so you can still use two hands If you swipe left or right on the spacebar or topbar if you set it then your cursor will move left or right just like the well known tweak swipeselection I wish I could elaborate on more features but there are just too many I have used nin for nearly two years and I still dont know close to everything Yes there is a huge learning curve but I promise you it so worth it Shortly after using it swiping words in pieces will feel completely natural The price is an absolute steal too NINTYPE for life PS Please note that the crashes that occur are Apples fault not the developers You can make third party keyboards a little better by jailbreaking and then increasing the allotted memory from a measly 48 MB to 256 MB                 Best keyboard you will ever use

Ive tried soooo many keyboards on the App Store and this one remains my favorite Not even favorite it changed my whole idea of what a phone keyboard should be like Going back to other keyboards has me pretty frustrated with how slowly Im back to typing There is kind of a learning curve with this keyboard but once youve got it its irreplaceable AND Im finding new functionsshortcutsetc all the time The twofinger swiping tapping combination is mindblowingly good gets my words per minute allegedly around 90 still slower than my 110 on a comp which is ridic crazy good on a phone My friends on fb chat will actually say things like Theres no way you typed all that just now on your phone and its too awesome Got way used to quick and easy and high accuracy backspacing by use of swiping left on the space bar Love the split space bar that lets me type words with no spaces without having to add them to my dictionary like mousebear or silly things like that This keyboard is so powerful and so customizable its hard to go back to anything else And yes it can act kind of glitchy sometimes and be a LITTLE slow but the time I save in other aspects of my texting life those little moments of time lost are totally worth it in the long run I really like what the developers have done so far and am really really looking forward to seeing how this keyboard develops in the future And fyi for anyone still reading Theres a subreddit for this keyboard rnintype And PS this does great at guessing my German swipes versus my English swipes without having to switch modes                 Hands down the best keyboard

This is my absolute favorite keyboard Unfortunately it also causes a lot of heartache especially right now For some reason keystroke accuracy has gone south again Also happened a couple of months ago Last time was corrected with the last release Also skips obvious real words to put up something that makes no sense This has gotten worse the last few weeks for some reason The last revision has knocked out a lot of the stability bugs I hope this happens again soon IMO This is still the best slidetype keyboard in the app store The ability to mix twohanded slide and peck are offered by nothing else in the app store The developer has worked hard to make this a superior product Hope he keeps it up              Bugs are back

Great concept Actually love it and would be my fave But The number one problem is autocorrect Easily one of the worst Ive ever used particularly when just using one finger to swipe words Often times a very simple word will come out completely word or just unable to correct a simple word Next gripe is loading time Open to text and no keyboard pops Gotta either close out messages or worse And lastly the keyboard freezes in a state eg if I want to select emoji after pressing the emoji key I will continue to see the reg alphabet keys but if I press an emoji comes out as if the emoji keys are behind the regular keys I wish it worked perfectly like other keyboards I would never use another           But

I love this keyboard but like the rest of the reviews I have love hate relationship with it between the crashing system An the unforgiving smoothness of the keyboard at times it makes typing hard when need it to really reply fast Very hard the constant jumping keyboards from one type of keyboard to next makes things even harder The one swipe to open word prediction never works for me an always having watch what I am typing to make sure it didnt add any words that were not ment to be I also have been writing the creators for updates not one has come to me via app store or email I give this app for looks 8 an its usfulness a 2 that is being generous           I love this keyboard but

More than often the keyboard wont come up and I will have to close and reopen ur app just to see the keyboard If it wasnt for this I would have rated it about a 4 I gave it a 2 because this happens entire too often Update 16Sept2015 I ended up going back to the normal keyboard due to nintypes malfunctions and problems Ive been using the default apple keyboard for a few months and loving it Works as intended Always pops up when Im ready to type and more 100 reliable As for nintype Lets just say I wish I could get a refund     Ok but buggy

Great keyboard The functionality is amazing and fairly simple to learn I enjoy typing with it and it really makes it faster and easier However be prepared to be seriously frustrated by all the crashes Its enough that I had to stop using it I was hoping for faster updates and fixes but they have dropped off           Fantastic but unstable

Anything done multiple times is worth optimizing Typing is absolutely one of them Thank you for creating something so beautiful and functional at the same time Im still getting the hang of it but I used to be one of the fastest default phone typists prior to this Cant wait until you incorporate semantic vectors and establish likely follow on sentences and words P S Sometimes I notice that K will pull up the settings center when I want to throw a question mark But seriously this is a great setup That slide to navigate                 Probably a good selection filter for smart people

This update is great I love the sound effects it produces Its doesnt seem to crash as much as before but on applications like snapchat and even the messages app it seems that the keyboard hesitates to come up sometimes Other than that I love it I switched back to the stock apple keyboard before this update came back but I got it back thanks to the new features Keep it coming guys Seems all this keyboard needs now is some bug fixes and it will be perfect Fastest keyboard to date                 This keyboard just got way better

Just took another star off because its September and the app hadnt been updated since May What happened to that promise to make this the best keyboard possible Best visual effects hands down I like the two finger swiping and shortcuts Issues In iOS 9 there is such a noticeable delay before the keyboard appears that I want to stop using it Does Swype have two finger support yet Frequently the keyboard does not appear Sometimes the keyboard comes up without the shortcut bar even when selected Sometimes the keyboard comes up skewed in appearance but functional and without the visuals Prediction algorithm seems to be getting worse Autocorrect is many times painful Peck typing in swipe mode suggests odd things For instance if I hit W and only W it is always corrected to something else and W does not appear as an override     Good idea frustrating implementation

Update 92515 still in love with this keyboard been almost a year even when using it on the iOS 90 and 91 beta its works admirably This update vastly improves stability and responsiveness Im mainly looking forward to a revamping of the emoji section to include the newly added ones and maybe a relabelingrenaming of the categories to be less vague wouldnt hurt Either way still 5 stars keep up the great work and looking forward to the next update Update this update makes the app even better than before more robust less buggy and just as enjoyable as ever to use Keep up the good work Ive been using this keyboard for a couple of weeks now and I cant live without it Yes it does take some getting used to but if you take it slowly it will grow on you There are some kinks that certainly need to be worked out autocapitalizing is a little finicky as with double space punctuation Occasionally the keyboard will freeze up or disappear altogether and interestingly enough I cant write this review and use it because everything disappears Regardless when it works it is the best keyboard available overshadowing any downfalls it might have As long as this keyboard sees continued development I will maintain my 5 stars and satisfaction with the seemingly high price point                 Amazing work in progress update still amazing

Go open a typing test with your PC and keyboard and check your wpm words per minute Seem fast Open the same typing test on your phone browser Now try it again Compare the results Slow Well my friend if you had nintype you could easily type between 6070 wpm You cant do this with Swype or Swiftkey Why The sheer innovation of this keyboard allows you to type quickly Case in point in SwypeSwiftKey you have to complete the entire word before it shows what you typed But we dont type our PC keyboards with one hand we alternate between both hands Nintype is a keyboard that lets you type with both hands at the same time Example take the word camp Normally you swipe with three strokes one stroke between each letter Plus you have to slide your finger across the entire screen of the phone With nintype you swipe ca with your left thumb and mp with your right thumb Nintype will automatically input camp and now you just less space and move on to the next word Think about every single word and imagine how many wasted stroke you have that make your typing slow Nintype eliminates all that Youve read my review this far already so youre obviously interested May as well stop reading and just get this keyboard                 64 wpm Better than SwypeSwiftKey

Most bug are because Apple is new to third party Amazing customization Very fast can you try to get a better predictive system Very innovative Just give some time to get used to it It really does help me type a lot faster 100 worth it WARNING IT WORKS GREAT WITH MY IPHONE BUT ISNT VERY STABLE ON MY IPAD IT MAY WORK ON THE AIR 2 BUT NOT BELOW But seriously peck typing is a pain once you get used to this                 Thanks Love it

Its just so much faster and easier There is a steep learning curve to get the hang of it probably about 3 days of using it regularly But its so worth it You can type so much faster and be equally as if not more accurate than regular peck typing Might seem pricey but when you get the hang of it youll wonder how you ever enjoyed texting without it                 Youll never want to go back

Its the ios 712 jail broken user I just got an ios Ipod touch ios 841 thinking about gain Jail breaking it I can finally use this keyboard Im loving it works a lot more smoother than the jail broken version I can tell you that much thanks for releasing this keyboard your awesome dude                 Love it

This keyboards is not worth 5 dollars Maybe 2 dollars This keyboard has a seriously HIGH learning curve You will be confused for first day The auto correct is the worst Ive seen in a keyboard I typed in SNAXKS and it left it at that How hard is it auto correct it to snacks 80 percent of the time auto correct gets it wrong So much going on with the keyboard You need to be very accurate with your swiping let alone regular typing     Dont waste your money or time lost typing

iOS 9 has made this keyboard MUCH more stable              Working much better thanks to iOS 9

This is how a swipe keyboard should be iOS seems to be getting better with third party keyboards sometimes not showing up or switching back to the apple keyboard but you cant blame these keyboard devs since all of them have the problem                 Awesome lots of options

this is probably the best keyboard out there in terms of speed versatility it takes some learning getting used to but its worth it but and its a big but it crashes ALL the time at least 12 times a week and when it does its not just a question of closing reopening the app youre typing in but shutting down the entire phone which is infuriating but I suspect has as much to do with apples dev restraints as the app itself but left to its own devices its fantastic I hope Apple can see their way to accommodating it because once it gets going its awesome              I love this keyboard but

This is BY FAR the best keyboard out there However you really have to go through the tutorial and learn how to use the keyboard properly If you are looking for just a replacement for the ios keyboard this is not it This is a whole new experience with using and learning a keyboard But it is well worth it It does have a few quirks because of ios support for third party keyboards But its not the fault of the developer or the keyboard Great keyboard and hope the developer keeps updating this                 The best keyboard by far take the time to learn it

This keyboard is horrible buggy mess It crashes constant which makes it barely usable The developer hasnt made any release recently and is off working on another project so dont expect any improvements really wish I could get my money back for this worthless app     Dont waste your money

Swiping on the spacebar to move the cursor and on the backspace button to delete and undelete multiple characters is worth the price of admission with this keyboard And Im finding myself using this more and more over the builtin Apple one this is my first custom iOS keyboard because the swiping is more comfortable than tapping each letter I must say however that the glimmering three dimensional menus are just ridiculous and get in the way much more than they help And the confusing optionshigh learning curve as mentioned in other reviews I think are significantly due to the authors trying to be extra fancy instead of just clear and useful Although I expect that will work itself out in future versions This has been not often but consistently freezing IOS8 Safari on my iPhone 6 Plus              Great in some ways ridiculous in others

I want so badly to tout this keyboard to everyone i know Its a lifesaver for the majority of the apps that I use However roughly 40 of the time I open up any app that uses a keyboard it shows up blank where the keyboard is supposed to be and I have to restart the program to get it back Please fix this and Ill be the biggest advocate for this keyboard           LoveHate Relationship

I know that this keyboard thing is new to iOS so I dont expect everything to be perfect But the keyboard crashes enough to be inconvenient and when it does crash I have to restart the app which usually causes me to lose the paragraphs that I just typed And it is really bothersome Stability should really be a key factor here The keyboard when it doesnt crash is fantastic though I can type much more quickly and I really enjoy it Please address the stability issues           Crashes make the whole thing inconvenient

I have to say When I first started using the nintype I was really slow But now my friends and family tells me that I type paragraphs as fast as they type one sentence I use nintype for everything Sending emails Text messages Notes You name it I absolutely love this app                 Just Amazing

When this keyboard actually works I love it Id say about 50 of the time it is glitched keyboard squished and you cant see what youre typing or it simply doesnt open at all 5 stars if the dev actually updated it and fixed bugs     So much potential

I love this keyboard It is so smooth and even though it takes some getting used to its totally worth the time My favorite part is when you have your phone landscape and it divides the keyboard in two its so convenient BUT this keyboard crashes way too often And you cant just close out your message and reopen to make it work again Ive stopped using this app because of how frequent it crashes I actually have to delete the keyboard in my settings then repair it once its deleted With such a great keyboard I would think this should not be an issue but its a big issue So unfortunate              I want it so bad to be perfect

This thing blows away the default iphone keyboard Worth every penny Other swipe keyboards are never going to be as good without the ability to mash up pecking and swiping and two finger swiping is actually really easy to get used to                 Best app on my phone

This has to be my favorite iOS keyboard so far EXCEPT for the spell check dictionary Sliding UpDown from the space key to replace already typed words with others is hit or miss And Im not a fan of the thumb tack icons at the top of the keyboard when opening a new message Anyways hoping for an update functionality wise this is the best keyboard for iOS VERY fast awesome animations        My favorite so far but with a few flaws
