Nightmare Town: Text Adventure

Shame on me for buying an app with only eight reviews I am certain that the good reviews you see here are from the developers and their mothers Besides the fact that this Choose your own adventure style story is poorly written the app itself is buggy You are unable to bookmark or save your story or backtrack if you make a bad decision This means you have to start from the boring beginning ever time the app closes Whats even more annoying is that 75 of the pages of the story areabruptly cut off resulting in missing sentences often that pertain to the next choice you are supposed to make as a reader This app is garbage Go buy a lottery ticket your odds are better to have a good time     Save your dollar

The endings totally catch you by surprise You never know whenwellI wont spoil it                 Woah

There is no depth to the story Its easy to reach a winning ending Its also easy to get killed based on a simple choice like whether you go left or right with nothing in the previous story to indicate a reason why one or the other direction is better When you die you have to restart at the beginning there is no save feature The tech doesnt work Sometimes pages are cut off in the middle so you cant read the bottom of the page Sometimes it will skip through a page so you miss one     Waste of money

I have a special appreciation for indie games and this one is fun Dark atmosphere and good graphics The story kept me guessing all the way through Cant wait for more                 Fun Indie Game

This game was incredibly suspenseful especially with the cool sound effects I couldnt just settle for winning I had to play through every way possible just to see what would happen Definitely worth the purchase Cant wait to see more                 Fantastic addicting

When I first saw this game I was a little confused at first You assume the identity of a powerful attorney at a respected law firm Out of nowhere your rich friend asks you to come to his town and asks you to do some pro bono work Upon arriving people try and kill you for some unknown reason Thankfully your law degree comes in handy along with all the years of fighting for the law books in the library I dont want to give away all the details and spoil the ending but it has a surprising ending its not the butler It has a fantastic ending where you bill your rich friend for all the hours he has you put in that is if you select the right path Nightmare town is a great game and forces you to think on your feet and act fast I highly recommend it                 Associate Justice

The story is captivating and because of the various choices I have played it 3 times and still had fun I was also suprised by the various backgrounds and sound effects which really add to the immersion which most text adventures dont have Definately worth 1                 Amazing text adventure

If you like text adventures you should definitely get this one Its one of the more fun apps that Ive played If you have never tried a text adventure this is a great first one to get Very suspenseful and makes you want to keep playing Loved it                 Exciting and Interesting
