Night Camera

I have this app like forever on my iPhone Since the 1st gen iPhone Use it often I love it Try it youll like it                 Terrific job on this app

SUPPLEMENTAL I really dont need to add more to my review but I wanted to update it so it would count toward their rating But on a side note I stated earlier that this app has been one of my 1 camera apps since my first iPhone 2008 or 2009 Its still making the cut on the first page just FYI Not very many apps wear the test of time on my iPhone like this one this may have been the first camera app Id purchased it was about 15 years ago at least Its still on my top five list and Im surprised at the poor reviews I think its name is part of the problem I had assumed this was similar to my slow shutter app as it states night camera I think that the developers refer to the stabilizer as the night cam function Ironically I very rarely use this as a night camera because I didnt understand at first what made it a night camera but I didnt care because it had some great features that Ive NEVER seen in any other camera app specifically the hard light feature and the unique ability to create two types of live double exposure shots its not just an image blendeditor and I can zoom in for one of the shots then zoom out etc You can use the front or rear cam for double exposures just be careful to keep your phone within the starting landscape or portrait mode perimeters depending on your first shot it will not mix landscapeportrait in the same double exposure shot I love this app and after all this time I still find little hidden gems every now and then that I had never even noticed before Im honestly really surprised at the low ratings                 One of the first apps I had purchased over a year ago

I used this app quite often with my 3GS at the 1600x1200 resolution With the higher resolution camera 1936x2592 in the iPhone 4 it would be good to see a higher resolution available As it stands it really isnt all that usable for the iPhone 4 and Ive removed it When if a version comes out with higher resolution Ill revisit           Needs update for iPhone 4

Its time to update this handy app for the iPhone 4 We need retina display support retina icon and tap to focus 5 stars again after that update           Lets get the tap focus and retina update

More than disappointed that a high selling item has not done a 40 update extremely buggy Wait to see if they even update     Nice app but worthless now

This is a good app for taking photos in many different size formats However please fix the bug where the grid guide disappears after taking the first photo This is very frustrating You have posted multiple updates since this issue first appeared and you have failed to address it I have to keep reverting to an older less stable version of the app with every update           Please fix bug

ive been using night camera since v1 and have stuck with it as my primary camera app the whole time i go to a lot of concerts and this app helps me take some great photos even with my underwhelming 3G iphone cam the stabilizer can be rough to use in a moving crowd but if you want great pictures the extra effort and wait time for the photos to save is totally worth it i love the feature that adds the datestamp to each photo but i wish the text were overlaid a little more modestly perhaps smaller in the corner of the photo the giant time and date at the bottom of each photo looks great when viewed right on the iphone but is a little overbearing when viewed on the computer especially as a desktop background                 steadies a shaky hand datestamp great but large

I bought this back when I had the original iPhone Not nearly as useful for the 3GS or iPhone 4     Bleh

I replaced the default camera with this app The first version was horrible But now the app is one of the best The zoom is a real plus The pictures are great I strongly recommend this app is totally worthy it In fact I believe that the developers are giving this app way too cheap                 The Best App

This is just a camera app not a night time camera app Tried taking pics in low light and got the same exact shot that I did with the regular camera app that comes with the iPhone Rather than paying for it stick with the regular app     Not what it says it is

Night Camera does some cool tricks including continuous timed shooting You can create Time Lapse video using it with Quicktime Despite the settings it shows for max resolution 1600x1200 the new update does save to FULL RESOLUTION on the iPhone 4 2592 x 1936 You can verify this by any method that displays resolution like the PhotoSize app              FULL RESOLUTION on the iPhone 4 2592 x 1936 Excellent features

Whatever you may have added it looks like it took a few functions away The camera no longer will take multiple photos when the selftimer is set which was one of the things I loved about this app Id love to go back to the previous version        What happened

This changes everything for my night shots anyone giving this a low rating is either dumb uniformed or a democrat                 Revolutionary

Went to settings privacy photos And there is no night camera icon to allow access So sad     No camera roll access

Folks need to realize that the antishakeblur feature is what makes lowlight pix look better as well as daytime pix This app has nothing to do with magically turning ur cam into an infrared cam which requires different hardware or making lights Ive had this app for a couple years now and for me it delivers the goods I guess my hands shake a lot because I cant take a nonblurry pic if my life depended on it But what really vexes me is why in all their updates the developers have never added taptofocus support I realize this might conflict when the usefullscreenasashutterbutton feature is on But they should at least allow taptofocus when the fullscreenshutter feature is turned off                 App should be named Stabilizer Camera

Worked fine with iOS3 but after two updates since iOS4 problems multiply If not fixed with next update I will delete     Doesnt work with iOS4

This app does nothing The only way you can take pictures in the dark is to use the flash otherwise you get nothing but a dark screenjust like the regular camera It gets one star only because I couldnt rate it any lower Dont get it I stupidly believed the guy who wrote the good review surely an employee of the app and not all the bad reviews Dont make that same mistake If this were something I cod return for a refund I would have done that within an hour of purchasing it     Worthless

I am amazed at how well this app works I just downloaded it and it performs great right out of the gate Why the complaints Seems like it even has some sort of image stabilizing capability but Im not sure Sure feels like it though                 Hey really works

This new update works better on iPhone 4 but I did not test every feature In the settings under normal camera it does NOT allow you to touch the screen and set the focus like the builtin iPhone camera does I think the developer is being a bit lazy here and has not figured out how to really make it work properly with the new iPhone 4 hardware Maybe they are working on making it more compatible but at least they are updating it and not letting it die like so many others that took our money and disappear     New version working better but not perfect

This app works wonderfully I use it instead of the built in camera app now I had no saving issues              Spectacular

The actual quality is not as good as it is advertised It does not do better than the Apples original camera app I want my refund     disappointed

I am in love with the hard light feature Its brilliant I just wish this app was optimized for iPhone5 Id give it 5 stars then              4 stars

Self timer and motion sensing shuter release gives fantastic photo results A must have app for the iPhone love it Reg                 Fantastic Apple should have had these features in stock camera

Im really enjoying the new feature allowing me to set the focus on one object and the exposure on a different object Just press on the screen with two fingers to set To test the effect let your fingers stay on the screen and move them around and you can watch how it sets the focus and exposure The square outline indicates where it will zoom the circle outline indicates where it will set the exposure My favorite feature is still the stabilization mode which doesnt snap the picture until the builtin accelerometer senses that your hand is steady A real godsend for people like me with shaky hands trying to take pictures that arent blurry Im also pleased to find that the features work with both the front and rearfacing cameras                 Have shaky hands Want to take clearer photos Use this app

I had used this app several times at night and didnt really appreciate what it was doing until we spent a week at Disneyworld Night time is a busy time there and this application was first class I saw several people struggling with other camera apps on there iphones One of the keys to good night shots HOLDING a camera is a fast shutter with good light I also put the settings to only shoot when the camera was steadythat is a key to success There are plenty of settings for shutter speed so you will need to pick the right one for day or night good 4x zoom was responsive tap on screen for a sure focus I have tons of apps now and this is by far the best value purchase I have made                 Worked great at Disneyworld

I compared the Night Camera photo with the regular photo in a low lighting situation and both look EXACTLY the same I am extremely disappointed I played with the settings and still nothing changed I cannot recommend this app until this bug can be fixed Apparently it works for some but not for me at all     Same problem as someone else

This causes my camera shutter to close and not open no matter what I try Also causes my other camera programs to do the same thing Its frozen shut and does not open The only way to correct is to sync iPhone then delete every photo on the phone restart the phone And then I can reload the photos I can only use the camera that came with the phone This has been the shitiest experience with any app Ive dl Not worth all the hastle I suggest to stay far away from this     HATE IT CRASHES MY CAMERA

I like this camera The zoom is easy to use just drag your finger across the screen the stabilizing feature helps me take a clear picture all the toolsoptions are a simple tap away on the bottom right tool icon I have tired some panoramic cameras also but this app gives me better panoramic options under the setting Simple easy good price              zoom

I am always capturing pictures of whiteboard drawings after meetings and this app makes a HUGE DIFFERENCE in the clarity as hand shake is the main cause of blur stationary subject Ive been using it for years and continue to be very pleased Take the name with a grain of salt It cant magically improve your camera hardware or take pictures in the dark but it does make a difference in low light situations especially if you dont have the latestgreatest iPhone camera                 Great for whiteboards

It is complete over rated I could not take any picture in pitch dark condition only one usefully function is the Time Stamp If you need to take picture in dark look for Night Cam and is free     Do not waste your time and money

I needed an app to enhance the iPhones ability to take night photos This app did not deliver A waste of 99 cents I did find another for the same price which did deliver but not sure if can say it here so I wont     Not worth it

With the new version it doesnt get frozen on my phone anymore and the new camera modes are so much fun to useD so I think u should get it Its alot of camera modes for only 99 cents                 Much Better

Update last set of updates 151 fixed everything This app now gets 5 stars Lots of new options cover pretty much everything youll need in taking pics with iPhone WELL WORTH IT Get it and u wont be disatisfied Since last two updates with the timer things are looking up Although right now my timer settings arent saving This may be the result of me not restarting phone since update Not worth it Its not sensitive enough Plus the timer is useless Starts the countdown when open app Thats just not smart Pausing it negates the timer Cant get it back without closing and reoopening Why Makes no sense Why even have the timer Just use the built in camera program Hold finger on shutter button until ready to take the shot Then let go No wiggle And its FREE                 With updates Perfect
