The NextBus Buses is now available as a free download on Apple Store for both iPhone and iPad owners.The application is supporting English language. It weighs in at only 1.6 MB to download. It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version 2.0 has been released on 2015-01-26. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. Had high hopes for a clean and simple NextBus app but this app simply hangs for me when it first comes up saying Error loading agency list There is nowhere else to go at that point so for me the app is useless Suspect something in the NextBus api changed Here s hoping the Developer fixes this soon Will be happy to rate again when it works UPDATE Agency list now loads thanks I think the core ideas of this app are what I am looking for but there are a few issues or me At first it was not clear why I only saw a limited number of routes in the tab bar across the top and could only browse a subset of the routes figured that out by going into the setting Then with my routes preselected I was still having issues selecting a route tab but granted I have been seeing other apps have somewhat similar issues on iPad after iOS 11 But probably most disconcerting and something that could be easily fixed is the stop favorites prediction times do not show which bus is coming at what time just the prediction times some of my stops have multiple routes I ride             Can t find agency list DudeWheresMyCloud?

This app will tell you a bus is coming in 5 minutes 15 minutes later you will get the same time estimate and your bus will not be there Terrible Not reliable at all     Inaccurate Time Estimates Pall Willeaux

Lots to like about this app but enough misses that I can t use it until it gets closer to what I need I need to look at multiple agencies at once I need train bus shuttle sometimes ferry and that means multiple agencies in the Bay Area and at minimum not lose favorites when I toggle between them Will be waiting for that update             Almost there N3706

Having your fave stops in glances is what a bus app for your watch should be My only complaint is why doesn t it display the bus numbers Letters Stops with multiple buses gets confusing                 Having realtime glances of faves make it worth while Sam Sni

I appreciate the functionality of this app Of course it s limited to being as reliable as the service it tracks but it is just simple enough to show me what I need without unnecessary fluff I can t figure out how to get the Notification Center widgets working however I wish there was a way to do this or allow the app the notify me when my bus is approaching a certain stop There seems to be no use of starring my stop without these features as much as I appreciate the app I don t want to have to pull it up every few minutes to see where my bus is             Solid app no notifications tobik0

5 stars because it s hands down the most simple and beautiful app to use for NextBus affiliated transit systems Wish there was a way to overlay multiple routes on the same map and I wish you could toggle route a bit more simpler and not just have to choose from 6 that you pre select on the top of the screen because I personally use different sets of routes depending on time of day but overall a VERY impressive app and it s even better than the native NextBus app currently Great work                     Impressive jojojo5556

The app knows where I am it should tell me about stops near me the way the NextBus web app does Don t make me select lines favorite stops etc There s already enough contextual information to make smart decisions         don t make me do all the work fivetonsflax

Compared to the other public transit apps Google maps iOS apps Yahoo maps Bing maps and all the other GPS available apps that are actually offering a whole lot of more options for those of us who use public transit this app is very very inferior Do not waste your money paying 1 99 to remove the ads because it s simply not worth it If you can download your transit agency up into your phone or an iPad that would definitely be your best bet Good luck     Pretty useless djmalenica
