New York Pass - Travel Guide

I appreciate many features of this app but for me the best is its ability to show only your Favorites on a map Would be great if there were an Ive already bought the pass mode that removes any promo elements and just has the attraction viewingnavigating features                 Superb design

A trip to NY without the NY pass is crazy talk And a NY pass without the NY Pass App is just plain stupid This App is Awesome                 Be Smart Get Use this App

So far it looks great This is making my adventure with my daughter so much easier                 Love it

Pros Nice icon layout on its own map Can store itineraries to plan out your trip but only relative to the pass Can save favorites to quick view later Cons Cant add any other sites or non pass items to the map It would be nice to have your saved places stand out on the map instead of everything shown as the same colored icons No reminder or alerts to keep your trip on time           Only for all the NY Pass Attractions

Crashing when adding item in day itenary on iPad doesnt syncs across iCloud devices not cool              Not able to add item

It is absurd that you need to print a voucher to pickup your Pass Really Simply absurd that they do not modernize to have it directly in your phone        Outdated

Did not book anything through this app However it was very handy in looking up all the sites that were covered by our pass It was very informative regarding location info on the place we wanted to visit and also provided contact info for the vendor Would buy the pass and use this app again                 Good app

Id like to have a search option Also look at my favorite attractions not part of any itinerary Add notes to each itinerary But the main thing missing is a better map feature           Nice app but Poor functionality

This app has crashed more than test dummies at a test site Couldnt open it for more than 15 seconds I have up and was never interested in the product even tho I heard great things about the NY pass Their loss     Worst app

website and voucher said there are offline maps in the app but I cannot find them     where are offline maps

The pass was an excellent value Some of the times listed were wrong but all in all great to use with the pass which not only saved us lots of but also allowed us to go to the front of most lines              Great help

This would have been a five star rating if not for the misleading bus addon The website boasts a bus every 15min or so but its not until I picked up the NYP cards that I found out for the 15min convenience I had to get the VIP pass at an additional 25person Otherwise I was probably looking at a bus every 40min or so Then there was the sketchy receipt that showed a non refundable charge of 282 with a 75 credit ostensibly the cost of the three tickets Turns out the basic bus while perhaps not as nice as their Greyline counterparts were never crowded like the Greylines Although most of our travel was midweek So buyer beware              Thrown under the bus

I love being able to see what activities I plan to do and to plug them into the app Im not too concerned with not having an offline map because Ive also loaded it on my phone which can check things without wifi In addition Ill have a hard copy in the form of the book when I pick up my pass next week in New York I downgraded a star because I cant place my other activities like a Broadway musical comedy show and 911 Memorial not Museum into the schedule because the app only accommodates what the pass covers The planner portion holds my flight hotel and play info which is helpful but I cant put this same info into the daily schedule I understand why so I wont confuse it as being covered by the pass but I wish it were allowed and let me understand what is covered and what is not Perhaps print it in a different color for those more challenged with the idea Already based upon the sites Ive chosen I know Ill save almost 160 on my 2day pass I go to NYC every year or two I dont normally play tourist Normally I rent a studio in Manhattan via airbnb and play resident for an extended weekend This time Im staying in a hotel in LIC to save money and playing tourist for a change of pace Looking forward Im very glad I bought the New York Pass It looks like this will be a fun trip              Excellent app I can plan my days

New York Pass is awesome but please please avoid going through Gray Line They are very misleading on what is included in their packages                 BEWARE

I was in the middle of making my itinerary and then all of a sudden the sign disappeared and I cant seem to add anymore sites Help this was a very useful app until this happened Please fix and fast           Help wheres the sign

This app would be handy if the user interface was smooth however whenever you open the app it does not scroll properly and the links are less than helpful I would recommend a link for a list of places where you can pick up your NYC pass I purchased a pass and still do not know where I can pick it up     Does not work smoothly

Downloaded it to use in combination with New York Pass Quits too often if you want to make a date change or a deletion Too buggy     Full of promise but doesnt deliver

I cant find anyway to enter locations that are not on my the list I can use an itinerary that is only 12 complete because I can only enter things on their list For instance day 1 of our itinerary was to wander around Greenwich Village There is no way to enter that Uninstalling this app        Potential but not useable for me

Its an ok app needs a lot of improvement when adding itineraries to a certain day you cant delete an activity that you already put on what if you need to make changes also cannot add flights and hotel on trip details its totally non functional I guess its just a display clearly needs to be fixed           Ok app

The Pass is worth it if you plan on seeing as much of NYC as you can It gives you the freedom to try things you might not if you were paying stop by stop It also takes away the guilt of leaving a spot such as a museum after an hour and you have really seen what you want or plans change The number of sites to see on the pass is greater than you can do and it gives a nice little discount at shops The app is easy and intuitive The toughest decision you will have is figuring out what to do Our family just spent 5 days in NYC and we felt we only scratched the surface using the Pass A friend recommended it to us and we would pass that on Safe travels                 Awesome Pass
