As a UI designer I think this is perfection Nothing to attend to no decisions to make Just launch it see freshly updated subscriptions lit up in color listen to them Genius There s really nothing missing here although I m not a huge fan of the squar eicon                     Utter perfection The best podcast client around f1vespeed

I bought this app mainly because of the Apple Watch support I was skeptical about how useful it would be due to the minimal design but after using it for a few days I realize it covers every feature I actually care about The interface is simple yet attractive and all the information you need about every podcast is presented clearly and concisely I have now deleted all my other podcast apps and use this one exclusively                     Everything I Want from a Podcast App and Nothing More Zagzagel

Things that made this a waste of money item is non returnable 1 Episode titles don t show in most episodes Descriptions appear from the end not leaving space for the title a very uninformative ugly sight 2 No control over data usage 3 The thing with having to tap as opposed to the previous swipe to download the other reviewer to talks about here is also extremely annoying     Unusable AndreyMilyayev

This was and pretty much still is my favorite podcast player For whatever reason the dev decided to use a square for adding new podcasts and a circle to take you to the now playing screen After months of use this is still confusing Please please please use standard icons Mr Dev There s absolutely no need to reinvent icons for commonly used functions particularly when the icons are so abstract that they lose all meaning This was a five star app before the odd UI updates             Great player confusing UI choices Sollicitudin Dapibus

I had high hopes for this app Maybe it was just too simplistic in its approach But when improvements are seen as step backs by many users and bugs continue to crawl its time to say goodbye If you listen to under 10 podcasts this app may suffice but when you want an app that gives you a simple layout intuitive controls with more powerful features try a more popular app I recommend PodCruncher Goodbye Buggy update Podcasts not remembering play position when paused for a long time or when switching from one podcast to another Edit I should add that I use bluetooth headphones to pause and continue Worked fine before last 2 updates I didnt update last time so I am not sure if the bug started this update or last Pls fix Other wise 4 1 2 stars Older Thanks for listening However update made all previously listened to podcasts to be reset to some random time remaining Ability to mark podcasts played has also been removed Request Please include a switch or some way to turn on and off downloading for each podcast When finding and listening to a new podcast I always listen to all the older episodes first thus dling newer ones just takes up space             High hopes but we must part GrimmIAK

Now Network is free with IAP to unlock the feature of steaming various play speed etc For new users u can t play any podcast unless pay the IAP 1 99 And u call this app free     Really free I don t think so Manonthebus

After Swell was swallowed I think this app is the next option It doesn t have the smarts to serve podcasts based on interest but at least it offers a clean way of consuming new episodes It would be better if it could connect my favorite episodes so I don t have to click on the next one after the one I am listening ends                 Interesting jsnt1

This app is for casual podcast listeners If you have a bunch of podcasts you listen to this is definitely not for you The app itself is strange to me Adding shows to the up next list is not intuitive at all The minimal design is too minimal Plus my podcasts were all out of order They should be in alphabetical order or some discernible order to speak of         For the casual user morphorod

Changes in the latest version are a step backwards The number of new podcasts should not be removed upon launch but only after having been played Similar to the standard UI for e mail count of unread And playing all new podcats without pause causes issues if you remove your ear buds and several podcats go by inadvertently Hard to go back and find the ones you did not hear Once the tile rearrange almost impossible to find the ones you missed While keeping the UI simple by eliminating options is an admirable goal perhaps some options might satisfy more users Please restore individual play as an option             New version changes still poor change AnselFan

Pros I really like the simple UI Flawless playback It s never glitched or crashed on my 4S and 5S Cons The new que feature isn t my favorite cause it just ques the next downloaded podcast instead of queuing the next episode of the podcast you re listening to I want the que to be easier to edit Maybe add a select all feature It downloads duplicate podcasts I has 96 new episodes from the same podcast 3 days in a row This is my favorite app but with a few tweaks it d be perfect             Favorite Podcast App This version 1 0 9 has some bugs Brohimbie

And I think I ve tried all of them by now This one is clearly superior Simple straightforward and high quality sound with very few dropouts Unlike most of the junk podcast apps that are out there now this one seems to have been designed and implemented by people who actually use it and thus have pinpointed the problems that the rest of us now don t have to deal with One caveat since I updated to IOS 7 1 I seem to be having a few more problems streaming a file but I haven t finished testing that yet Will do an update when I discover more                 The best podcast app I ve tried so far HankReview

Network strips away the excessive drill downs to functionality most podcast apps have It s just beautifully quietly designed It s so simple and clean and yet it could still use a small tour of how it works This is an impressive solid effort One I imagine will only get better                 Superb UI Tao-ish

The app is very simple and does not have any options to configure Subscribe to podcasts play them and view show notes This is what the app is all about The only issue I have is the black background makes it difficult to see some links in the show notes which are dark blue                     Nice and simple David Levine

I downloaded this and found no way to import an OPML file So I went to downcast and exported into Network It found all the podcasts but only downloaded three out of 21 The next day when 16 more were updated it did not download them or make their icon color Tapping on a greyed out icon I found previous episodes which I could stream but not download It could not find today s episodes on over half of my podcasts I know they can be found because downcast found them and downloaded them just fine So I think this needs work or instructions Since it will not find and download all my podcasts it is useless     Needs work or instructions Antiduplicity

This app is excellent but its missing one thing it needs to give users the ability to share a podcast with friends somehow Via email or whatever method Otherwise it would have received a 5 star rating from me                 Needs Send To Email Function MediaPlex

This app is very clean and straightforward to use once you re familiar with its interface Simplicity is its obvious core competency which is a blessing and a curse If your needs are limited to playing pausing or scrubbing through a podcast episode whether streamed or downloaded this is the app for you If you want to do anything else with podcasts to which you ve subscribed like make a playlist or sort podcast or episode order find a different app I give it four stars for frank presentation of its limits and beauty of design I leave one star off because it lacks discoverability of certain features in the name of simplicity                 Pretty But Lacking Substance wurdNinja

The only function that is holding back the 5th star is the lack of video support I subscribe to video podcasts as well as audio and without the video functionality I would need two apps installed which defeats the purpose If you only listen to audio podcasts this is a beautiful app and I highly recommend it Hopefully the developer will incorporate video functionality in the future                 No video support Bryan J Zimmerman

Castro just got OPML import so I ve been able to switch from PocketCasts The UI for this app my be even more of improvement but OPML import is a must have day one feature for me and I suspect most people I refuse to manually enter all my podcasts I ll write another review if and when OPML import is added         Needs OPML kirks99

Looks pretty cool but it still needs a lot of work For example Video podcasts aren t handled well at all Often I like to just listen to the video feed but it s nice to be able to unlock the screen watch the feed when there s a visual moment You can do this with PocketCasts but I m hoping Network can do it more elegantly I m not sure what new episodes means here I added a dozen podcasts most of which had new episodes released that day but I had to go through two clicks to find the latest episode I hadn t yet heard New episode should mean the latest episode I never played Also there should be a swipe gesture to get to the episode archive I hate pressing that plus button on the top right corner Also swiping the player screen down up takes way way too long and is hard to discover for some reason All that said great start             Needs work lunun
