When my Wife and I first signed up with NCP we were the actual scanner which we hated Now that we are using the App it much easier to scan on the go                 Love The App

The only downside of this program is the need to enter prices at several major stores Ie Target and Costco where I do most of my shopping I dont know why Walmart and Safeway dont need price entries and other stores do Oh well If they update this it will be a 5 star no brainier              Easier than a separate scanner

I think the NCP app is far better than the old scanner Using the app I can scan purchases when I am away from the house This feature is great for scanning purchases at restaurants and for when we make purchases out of town                 A Great Improvement Over the Scanner

Not enough time to scan items and when you try to line up a scan from the booklet it scans the first barcode it focuses on then you have to go back and try again and again        NCP SCAN Not liking it

After a week or two I lost the list of stores for three weeks Now that theyre back the app works great I much prefer this over the scanner Thanks for the update NCP              Nice

Give me time to scan my purchase I barely have time to reach into the grocery bag after Ive entered the price from the last item before the scanner times out and has to be told to try again For farts sake Im not a professional food handler thats why Im on the stupid consumer panel You turned the scanner into an app for the phone Great So why not make the surveys user friendly to see on your phone Its so impossible to take a survey in a time effective manner when you have to constantly make the screen different sizes scroll up and down try to keep track of columns etc Ive given up on taking phone surveys Waste of time You guys are in the business of doing surveys to help other companies do their business better time to do the same for your own        Drives me bananas

I downloaded this a few weeks ago but forgot about it I finally set up my favorite stores an d started scanning I feel like Ive scanned only a few shopping trips Im up to 4100 points I do wish it show me the receipts from the stores Ive scanned I dont always have time to scan the items as Im putting them away so Ill go back to it a day or two later There are some weeks I do a lot of trips and I dont want to duplicate trips                 So far its pretty easy

Today is my first day with this app Im not sure how scanning a huge shopping order is going to work out Stay tuned                 So far so good

I just started as a panel member so I had never used the application before I thought it was very easy to follow and I am looking forward to the rewards offered                 New User

Since the new version has come out about every 4th or 5th purchase input the button to record new purchases gets greeted out Weve had to uninstall and reinstall per tech support about 5 or 6 times now And each time we have to reinstall we have to enter our log in credentials and personalize it NEED TO FIX IT        Buggy

The good Using the camera on my iPhone to scan barcodes is a vast improvement over the old scanner The bad Manually entering data is problematic The app takes 1015 seconds to respond to a tap on the screenif it responds at all I have had to skip entering some items or not record entire purchases because the no barcode function does not respond Entering quantities is another annoyance The default is 1 of anything but if you enter another number you must erase the 1 and type in the correct amount Otherwise 2 of something becomes 12 items Manually entering a number other than 1 should automatically override the default           Good but some annoying glitches

I have been using the iPhone app ever since it was available love it But since the last update I have had problems with it Makes it hard to report since I do not have the scanning unit anymore I Hope they fix this real soon           Too many issues

I have been scanning for about a year now and using the app is better than the original scanner I started with But this recent update has caused it to have a few problems Submitting it with a total has become almost impossible to do And the favorites list seems to be some what out of order But this is minor and hopefully will be fixed with newer updates Not nitpicking but will change my review once these problems are address           Good idea but poorly executed

I have used old home scanner when I first joined and I never had any issues with it The app is much more convenient but has had a few technical difficulties Overall the issues have been fixed and I like the app because it is so convenient to use              Convenience

Im pretty new to NCP and was having a hard time with the hand held scanner they sent Scanning with my IPhone is much easier Works great so far with no problems                 Really like this App

Its easier then using the scanner you sent me when I first started The only thing I wish you would do and it has nothing to do with scanner is when we input our produce or meats that there is a option for ounces and pounds It would be so much easier                 Smartphone Scanner

The latest update took the app backwards Im not sure why they felt the need to perform an update Quantity Input is now messed up The new purchase button will not highlight most of the time without manually closing and reopening the app between shopping trips Also app is solo much slower and the UPC camera scanner hardly works now I just opt for typing them in now Still better than the old hand scanner EXCEPT that the UPC code inputs are too strict There are items I cant record purchases for because they have different non standard UPC codes I also cannot record an item unless it has a UPC where as before I could example recording dr trips There is no UPC for that yet doctor shops on on the shopping list Huh           Latest update went backwards

So excited to use over the old scanner I used to have but do not like the points offered because I feel theyre cheap with the points and it would take forever to cash out one of the few gift cards offered and prizes not as good as the home scanner        Ok

In the beginning this was fun to do I looked forward to doing it Now its becoming a headache because sometimes my stores dont even show up I call in for help sometimes it works and sometimes not This Go round I called in and it did not work so I deleted the program for an entire day and turned it back on it works nowbut for how long           Not So Happy

The new update is very easy to use and I like the blue colors I had no problem with the app since the update I deleted the old version and installed the new update and the app rubs perfectly So fat so good no issues                 Nice update by amazing

This app makes it much easier to scan my stuff I can do it any where at any time              Great

NCP is a great app in that its such a convenient way to record your purchases and answer surveys along with being able to see your reward points that you can use to pick gifts from the gift catalog It works seemlessly recording your purchases without any problems or rarely having any problems Since having it on my IPhone 5c I really havent had any problems with the app Im a very happy user and blessed to be a part of this consumer panel knowing Im making a difference                 NCP Is Really Great and Reliable

I had a few cases of the list of stores being blank when trying to enter a new purchase but havent encounter any problems in the past couple of weeks              A few bugs but seems to be improving

So far so good A little confusing to select what kind of store when it was just a grocery                 First time using easy to navigate

The app is a must faster and easier way to scan especially items that dont have a bar code I do wish that it didnt time out so quickly or that it had an option that would let you press or swipe to scan when you are ready instead of hurrying you and timing out before you can get it out of the bag                 Easy and convenient

App was pretty good until the last iPhone update Now the search menu wont let me search for any retailers It just freezes Minor bugs even before the update        Not working after latest iPhone software update

I have been with the panel since it started using the mobile app and this version works well My only complaint is that when you add stores to your Favorites it doesnt alphabetize them and you had to reenter all of your Favorites This needs to be remedied quickly Customer Service was awesome in getting everything fixed and up and running quickly              Great App

This app is hit or miss on whether it works or not I normally use my iPhone for scanning and today it wont show any stores I had to use my iPad and the scanner was not working good It took forever to get this one grocery trip in Please stabilize the apps        Frustrating

I have used the old scanner for almost 2 years and it had its flaws Just used this new app and like everyone else I thought it was ok but it needs work I hate the quantity input Fix that ASAP please Just that problem there makes this not worth it any longer Also got about 14 items into a 55 item trip and it blinked back to the home screen and I had to start over The favorites list is nice or it will be when they add my head shop nail salon and GOODWILL for crying out loud I hope I dont have to put the prices for the dollar store like with the older scanner Ill never shop there again having to input that on this version But with a few quick fixes it could be a 5star maybe but for now New is definitely not improved           SO FAR I LIKE THE OLD ONE BETTER

Ever since the update the minute i try to choose the store the app crashes If not for my husbands iPhone i would not be able to transmit my purchases Please fix ASAP 0915 review update The app doesnt crash but it doesnt allow me to choose items that have no bar code           Crash city

I like the older version better The frustrating thing is in the entering of quantity of an item You used to be able to enter a quantity of more than one and it would override the default Now you have to delete the default quantity before you can enter the actual quantity purchased           Older version was better
