NavPlay

Got the app as part of a trial with my Vesper AIS The only thing free was a 3 month trial of the app 699 itself Installed it with great expectations Ordered the C map chart it shows as being installed on my IPad Air for 40 NAVPLAY has yet to work and doesnt seem to recognize the chart I have sent at least 2 emails to their customer service and received no response Contacted Vesper Marine who then tried to contact NAVPLAY on my behalf Vesper received no reply either It looks like a good product but if it doesnt work and you cant get customer service then itaint worth the chip it is printed on     No customer service

Ever since I downloaded this program the first time it consistently shows the vessel icon hundreds of miles from actual position Even though the GPS position in the program is correct Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling both the app and the charts No luck Ive tried contacting their tech support and cant get anyone to work with me to solve the issue It may be an iPad Air 2 or iOS compatibility issue but who knows When their Tech Support people if they exist ever get back to me maybe I will know     Doesnt work with iPad Air 2

I also own the sister app Plan2Nav and its an excellent application but this new one needs work Theres quite a few bugs including locking up and it doesnt perform as advertised Its also supposed to load in the Plan2Nav charts that youve already purchased but that does not work If they can get the bugs out could be very useful        Needs work but has potential
