Bought this app a few days before my exam just to get a little more practice in and I m glad I did but I would only recommend using this once you re already somewhat familiar with the material Mainly because while they have added questions for CPT 4 they haven t removed a few CPT3 questions that are no longer relevant So if something didn t sound familiar and I couldn t easily find it in the book I d assume it was either not in the new book or too trivial to study Also I definitely came across a couple of questions that were incorrect and a few that were worded in such a weird was that the answer came down to semantics and not knowledge BUT for the most part it was helpful to have such a large question bank to go through and I LOVED the detailed explanations in most of the answers The explanations were the most helpful part for me This app really helped highlight the areas where I needed to do more studying and I m sure it helped me pass So imperfect and also clumsy to use as others have mentioned but recommended                 Flawed but worthwhile 123JMG

This is the very first time I ve ever reviewed and rated an app I had to do it because I believe this app really did help me pass my NASM CPT exam on the first try Know that without actually studying the NASM book and just relied on this app I would have failed the test But what the app does is show you where you are weak and what you don t understand The questions are not necessarily the same as on the exam but forces you to comprehend the material not to memorize answers So study your book and buy this app to show you what you need to work on                     PASSED Shinobi888

I bought this and the nasm test prep app I can honestly say this is the better of the two It comes with almost 500 prep questions that are way more challenging and probably more similar to the test than the ones in the other app I don t know why it doesn t have any reviews yet but it s well worth the money                     The best review Elena Thomason

I have been using this app to help study for the CPT exam and I do think that overall it has been an asset I would like to point out however that not all of the information is in direct correlation with the NASM 4th Edition text book When cross referencing the material in the book with the material provided in this app there are several inconsistencies I m hoping these get worked out as otherwise this is an excellent study tool             Good study tool but not entirely accurate Rodeosandroses43

Just took the NASM CPT 4th edition test and passed I firmly believe that this app is one of the reasons I passed You still need to study otherwise some of the answers will seem foreign The test had similarity structures questions Study mode on here is phenomenal                     Must have Just passed

Passed the NASM Exam earlier this afternoon on the 1st Attempt Almost half the questions on here were on the Exam with the exact wording However what is missing here are questions on Upper and Lower Crossed Syndrome Professionalism and Confidentiality and number of sets reps you should perform in accordance with the Stabilization Strength Power Exercises etc The other half of the Questions came from the 4th Edition Textbook and a few from the NASM Practice Exam that you get from purchasing a study package The Actual Exam I took today was a lot harder than the Practice Exam and the questions from this Review App as they really try to confuse you on some of the questions plus a few questions where you have to choose between two correct answers As a study tip do not solely use this App as your primary study aid for the NASM Exam You will need to really thoroughly study the 4th Edition Textbook The majority of the questions on the Actual Exam are based on Underactive and Overactive muscles                 Great Review App for NASM however D85sm

Great app study guide It s very helpful that it tells you why the answer is right wrong I used this in my free time to study before taking the exam and am so glad I did Some of these questions were on the exam even It d be nice to be able to uncheck all the understood questions at once or be able to shuffle them around Also maybe to be able to sort by a topic you re weak at like nutrition or design Those are my only suggestions Otherwise great app                 I passed G-Unit81

This app is well worth the money Like several other reviewers have said this app is based off of the 3rd edition instead of the 4th edition but some of the questions are still the same It also helps you prepare for the type of questions that will be on the exam If you study this app the online nasm practice guide and look at crossed syndromes you will be set                     Great study guide Trainer Rich

I don t think this app was worth the money I studied the 4th Ed of the NASM textbook and it seems like this app did not take all the questions from it Some questions were just wrong like how long one should wait to take a pulse after a YMCA step test One question was only 3 words and not even a question If you take all the questions at once in test mode and answer all them correctly after a few tries you ll not be able to use test mode again I emailed support about it and they promptly responded that they will have an update soon but that was in June and I already passed my exam so it makes no difference now This app by no stretch of the imagination is necessary to pass the exam but some may find it helpful         Meh Elsevier12344
