NASB Bible for BibleReader

This is by far my favorite Bible study app It is super quick and easy to find verses The appearance color font etc are second to none                 Best Bible Study App

I was pleasantly surprised when I figured out that I can split the screen between my bible and the notes This allows me to have the passage up during the service and just below that have my notes Also one of the best parts is that the notes are not tied to a passage but are kept in a similar fashion to my notepad app Once I undock and split my keyboard I have the perfect set up                 Perfect for church

I use this app every Sunday on my Ipad to follow along with the sermon I also have a copy on my phone I enjoy being able to see the NIV study notes                 Great app

I really like this app Its easy to use great searches and the annotation features is why I like it I really like the reading plans and am currently utilizing the chronological reading plan taking me through the Bible in one year However the buggy part of the app is the annotation feature I will take the time and research to enter notes to the text but about 20 of the time the app does not save it then I have to reenter the note and hope it saves it correctly Its frustrating to say the least I still recommend this app because it is very easy to use and the customization is what makes it a keeper Please continue improving its performance Many blessings              Almost perfect

I have been using Olive Tree since my Palm Pilot days A great resource and highly recommended The last upgrade has caused some problems for me First it didnt recognize my older purchase of the NASB 1977 version Tech support was very helpful in identifying I did indeed purchase the app and got it redownloaded Now however my daily reading doesnt sync properly When I tap for todays reading it does not take me to the correct verses Interestingly this does not happen with the later NASB I just emailed the diagnostics to tech support so hopefully they can fix this A minor annoyance for a great appKeep up the good work Overall This is the best Bible app I have tried others but Olive Tree remains my fav                 Recommended but latest update a bit buggy

UPDATE May 11 2014 I just erased this app from my iPad3 in all translations because the latest update has totally eliminated any degree of recognizable usefulness to previous customers In trying to get three passages used in todays sermon every time I located them in the Go To selection process I either turned up being sent to another chapter or another verse in the chapter I selected Every time I tried to use the History redirect controls and it would choose another entry in the list Final straw when I tried to expand the main or secondary window to see more of the text after the selected passage it would start to display text IN FRONT OF the selected verses not later verses Please let me know when you have fixed these glitches Until then I will keep it off of my iPad and use other Bible software EARLIER REVIEW I use this software which resides on my iPad3 for all of my Bible reading especially at church on Sunday I like having the split screen topbottom which allows me to use the top window for Psalms and the bottom screen for other passages I have used Olive Software since late in 2010 and find it relatively intuitive to use Bookmarks and highlights are fairly easy to use and stand out nicely The one complaint I have is that the Go To procedure has been changed through several different processes often without any real reason for the changes The old system was smoother faster and didnt stop loading halfway through the process I have had the Old Testament buttons show up but New Testament wouldnt show up until after I had clicked on an empty box and it reloaded usually showing the chapter options for Matthew I wish I could access a concordance from inside the appmy concordance Olive Software is a standalone app and it would be very helpful to be able to access a Bible Atlas and conversion tables I really like being able to size the font to adapt to my older eyes     Last update totally SNAFU

I have many Bible apps and Olive Tree is by far the very best The ability to make notes and hi light is crucial and the methods in this app are the simplest and allow much more precise study 1 When a note is made on a certain scripture the note stays at the scripture rather than on a note pad in some other part of app I love that I can click on the little icon AT THE VERSE and the note that Ive written pops up 2 I can highlight only the specific part of the verse that I want Other apps only allow the whole scripture to be hi lighted This is crucial to me because sometimes one word in a scripture will pop out and I want to hi light it andor make a note only on that word 3 It allows me to copy and paste into other apps like my notebook or even of Facebook The only suggestion I would have is the ability to write in the Bible like with a simulated pen It would just enhance study ability But Olive Tree is the very best Ive used                 Awesome

I really enjoy using this application for both daily Bible reading and for Quick reference My only complaint is that sometimes the daily Bible reading doesnt prompt me to move to the next reading and I have to go in manually and click off that portion of my reading              Great Bible app

I love this bible app Its actually the only bible that I use right now I love that the searches are right on you dont have to read through a lot of scriptures that dont really apply to what youre searching to find the one that you are looking for But there is one thing that could be better And to me this is a big thing The go to chapter and verse finder needs to be more readable Its so hard to read especially in the contact Grid setting and that is the fastest way to use it That one fix would make this app as prefect as it gets Please please please address this in your next update        One minor fix to a major issue will earn you 5 stars

The late Jim Reimann taught that the bible proves itself and teaches itself if you do your homework and research the cross references especially bridging OT to NT Having hyperlinked capabilities as well as the resource library enables just that type of study App does crash once in a while but might be due to running on the original iPad 1 Overall solid app and the reading plans are another value adding to the infinite quest to know more about Gods Word                 Solid app for dynamic bible study

Use the app all the time for my own research for a couple of bible studies Good for cross referencing scripture passages taking notes highlighting passages etc definitely worth buying                 Great app

This is my main Bible app I appreciate that I can download my favorite version and dont need to be online to use it The Matthew Henry Commentary is provided free of charge and I keep it on the side as I read scripture You can also use 2 different Bible versions side by side I have also used the daily reading plans provided and can sync between devices This and Bible Gateway are my favorite Bible apps In Bible Gateway I can switch back and forth on different versions but I need to have online access I also like the audio feature of Bible Gateway So between the two apps I have it covered well              Excellent Bible Study Tool

This NASV NIV Strongs references is very useful It allows me to study from both Bibles and follow references and definitions Moving between texts can be a little cumbersome But not having a pile of paper books is great              Very Useful Study Bible

Love this app Use it exclusively for all my bible studies church quiet time Have transferred all my notes from my bible to this app I have 2 issues that I feel would enhanced the program I would love to share my notes with my children or other friends who are users and there is no way to do that and when you select an icon for a note it doesnt remember it I think once an icon is selected it would be nice if it would default to that one the next time                 Greatest bible app ever

I tried another app and it just didnt have the functionality I wanted This one does I especially like the ability to copypastecreate notes The software recognizes references embedded in the notes and provides a link to other scriptures and a back button that returns you to the note I am just now getting ready to add in other tools as references I used a printed copy of the NASB bible for decades and I truly admire and frequently use this electronic version                 Very useful and thought out NASB Version

Everything I could want in one app Love the ability to customize My only suggestion would be to be able to select a default so that the notes open on the split screen automatically instead of having to select it everytime This can be a pain especially if you frequently refer to the notes If you are reading on the main screen as most often you would why would you want to open the notes on the main screen              Awesome app

I prefer the BibleMaps version but have this one also installed since it receives updates to the app prior to the BibleMaps release It just keeps me aware of upcoming changes                 Great App

Ive been using their software for several years on the various phones Ive had Now that I have a new iPad2 this is one of the first apps Ive downloaded Anything and Everything you can do to draw near to Jesus to follow Him to understand Him to become more like Him is a good thing For me this App has significantly helped with the Anything and Everything                 Great App Great Bible Study Software

I use this app for all my Bible and commentary reading I love the reading plan feature and the fact that you can set complementary texts to track each other very handy for switching back and forth Certainly in my top 5 apps                 Highly recommended

App has great features but crashes very often when waking from sleep and rotating the screen Also the resource guide at the bottom of the screen needs to go away because it conflicts with the control center incorporated in iOS since version 7 Otherwise this is a great app with many features           Great App needs bug fixes and refinement
