I use it for all my studio recordings Its always my output in audiobus and Ive got a bad habit of driving and writing with this thing The audio from it screams clarity and I cant put it down You can sample anything you wish and there are really no limits New features would be nice but not a necessity at all Its the best Ive spent on an app ever Check it out for free via PC download firstTop notch Cheers                 Must Have App

I cant believe that even after all this time since NS initial release there still is not a single app that has even come close as far as workflow I come from being a Reason user so I naturally love the workflow of NS Beatmaker completely copied NS and the Korg Gadget is cool but still seems like just a toy                 Still The Best Music Making App

This is the best portable synth and studio app I love the reverb I made some insane ambient pads and some amazing drum and bass basslines with eden and I didnt even use samples just the oscs I have no words to describe how happy I am with this app Definitely must have for every enthusiast and even professional musician                 Awesome

Needs a deeper sampler at least one that will allow you to make a keymap with layers and zones perhaps with separate architecture per zone or per sample even Then I would be on this thing like white on rice Nobody is doing samples on iOS Why I hate that I love this thing in all other respects              Very nice but

You have to be the dumbest person out there you can import your own sample thats all you need do if you dont like the sounds that are on board import your own with FTTP server thats free                 This is for all names taken

I have used NanoStudio for years I produced a number of full length albums with it look up Wrave I fully converted my workflow over to it There are pros and cons THE PROS Its maleable Thank you so much for treating us like smart human beings Touch interfaces are all too often made to be easy to use but in fact make themselves more difficult to interact with because theyve been boiled down too much I can tell that the interface was planned for multitouch from the start Intended actions are executed quickly fluidly and without any fuss or smart snapping There is no faked sense of interpreting touchandhold versus touch versus an accidental drag No NanoStudio just does what you tell it to do without being dumb Its worth the money This is cheap software that does a lot Its actually easy to get by on only five patches and the upgrade to 16 patches only expanded my horizons Its stable NanoStudio never crashed once on my 1st generation iPad after thousands of sessions because it has clear boundaries You can only make one million notesautomation changes Thats it It also is quick to warn you about low memory which is always the fault of another app in the background THE CONS NanoStudio never received MIDI OUT and it never will This saddens me the most as I was really looking forward to using it as a brain for other synths The Mute and Solo buttons are not multitouch friendly I asked for this to be fixed as it really affects my live performances but Ive been told it will stay this way indefinitely We can no longer get updates on 1st gen iPads ABOVE ALL NanoStudio has become my best friend Knowing that it will not receive any future updates is in a way comforting It has become like a hardware synth that will never change and though it has a few quirks I learned to work around them I love it because the pros outweigh the cons Thank you for NanoStudio Blip It has brought me years of joy              It was worth every cent

Its a full studio setup in the palm of your hand This app performs great For those who use Fl Studio on a PC you will love this Also download Nanosync to your PC to transfer samples Fl studio on your PC and Nanostudio on a iPad iPhone or iTouch is a monster combination Your tracks will be crazy Anything less then 4 stars is not possible                 I giving away the secret

Glad that IIA was included on Nanostudio with latest update Now I can incorporate NS into CubasisGarageBand andor Auria without using Audiobus directly Awesome Even on my iPhone its comparible to a desktop DAW REALLY Even has downloadable PC and Mac versions                 One of the best

Offers nothing much that you cant get from many cheaper or even free apps Latency is horrible synths are highly lame recording anything live is almost impossible due to general lagginess MIDI editing seems limited at best I have an IPad Air 2 with the latest iOS 8 version its like the positive reviewers are using a different app It performs like bad PC freeware Theres nothing impressive or polished here that I can see despite the premium pricetag This is the last time I spend more than 5 on a nonrefundable app Five minutes with this thing and I desperately wanted my back Bad purchase Consider very carefully and investigate less expensive options before you dive in on this thing Its pretty blah     waste of money

Only includes two instruments a drum machine and a rompler All the included sounds are pretty uninteresting Based on the description of the app I expected a couple actual synthesizers        Disappointing

When it comes to composing and actually producing your music NS is the best one out there Ive tried all the other DAWs but they all slow down my workflow If youre looking to mix on your idevice get Auria but when you want to produce get Nanostudio                 Best DAW for Composing

What I like most about NanoStudio are Pinchzoom of phrasesong view horizontalvertical which is simply great and timesaving for phrase duplicatingarrangingsymmetry and if Im not mistaken NanoStudio is the only standalone music studio wsynthsampler with this function If Im not mistaken Auria is the only other music studio with pinchzoom but lacks built in synthsampler Assignable 16 instruments as samplerkeyboard with no stuttering when using 16 May be nice to add more tracks to 24 so can use the mixer with less sounds per track Twin XY pad of each synth Scrollable to FX modulation Sound quality Sampler has easy auto beatplay recording 18 116 etc Sample import File size of the app is under 100mb Lots of other great features too                 Great and simple Very fun and easy to use

the workflow is great very logically laid out eden synth sounds great with lots of editing options this is perfect the ability to move the project to pc for further editing is really helpful too I love this app                 yeah

Nanostudio has been hands Down my most used app I can do a lot of what I like just in nanostudio alone but it cannot seem to work well as a host for other apps for some reason If I could record tracks from other apps into nanostudio whether through audiobus or IAA as easily as I can record a track from the Eden synth it will get the 5 stars it deserves If it is not relevant its not even competition please give us a good update Im sure you will        Relevance is almost everything

After buying this on my 1st gen iPad a few years back I have always kept this app no matter what Now on a 4th gen iPad it still is the goto app for sequencing beats and rocking out with Audio Bus and Auria It has always been stable compared to other apps like BM2 and FL Studio I think its time to redesignupdate the UI The access to the sound library is archaic I also think your synth section could use an update with more sound modeling options Drum pads need V sensitivity and a full screen mode Give us MIDI output too please Audio tracks would be sweet too but I have a feeling this isnt gonna happen Over all great job on an awesome music production tool Hoping there will be more to come Also anyone having issues with music not sounding like you recorded it turn off quantization function              One Of The Best

This app is amazing Its great to see such a well developed and mature app It has been around for years and just keeps getting better Combined with other great apps like audiobus thumbjam and soundprism there is really no limit to what you can create when you link them up and start playing So many possibilities for both live performance and careful composition                 Amazingly flexible

The simple yet powerful interface is what sets this app apart from so many others I own just about every music making app you can get for iPad Aside from GarageBand this is the most intuitive I have made a number of songs on various apps but I keep coming back to NanoStudio because it provides the most direct way to get a song out of your head and into an iPad The only ding I would give it is the quantize latency on the drum pad which can be difficultunforgiving Tabletop by comparison works flawlessly If you set quantize for a more coarse setting youll do just fine The synth has a rich sound that keeps you coming back At first glance this app may seem limited but once you start appreciating the simplicity and power of the interface coupled with one of the best sounding synths available for iPad you will keep coming back to NanoStudio This app will let you do live looping performances not with a sampler but your own imported sounds and synth presets You can also download the app onto your computer and really let your creativity flow Well worth the money If you have doubts check out videos and music people have made                 Still the best all around music app

The midi editing makes sense and is pretty easy to use That was my one concern and I am very happy with the way they have done it in this app I use it on my iphone I dont have any problems with programming a beat into it A couple notes I cannot for the life of me figure out how to edit automations Im not sure if it is even possible Before you record automations make a copy of the section you will be automating or you will have a tough time not losing your midi notes This obviously doesnt replace a desktop DAW but you could export a project and do further editing in another DAW PS Im always worried when I see apps that have nothing but high ratings It makes me think that the company is making a bunch of fake accounts to hype their product but this is a good one Im having fun with it 4 Stars because deleting automation seems to be impossible                 Yeah

Blow away by this app The ease of making music and even recording and editing live sound made it an instant winner for me Only issue I have is the inconvenient process for obtaining your music as an mp3 You have to download a nanostudio converter from online on a computer to connect with your device in order to use the music outside of the app A pain in the butt but worth it in the end                 Best money ever spent on app

04222015 This is still the best music making app Ive used Ive been using Nano Studio since 2010 and Ive sort of adapted my songwriting to maximize its abilities It is so convenient to compose on an iPhone I only use my desktop DAW Cubase primarily for finishing touches Update Nanostudio remains the best music app on the iPhone Thank you so much for creating this awesome tool However there are two general wishes on my list 1 the ability to use instrument samples in their original stereo format within the Eden synth That would add a level of richness to the sound and that would make me extremely happy 2 easier ways to record vocals with pitch correction etc This is a lot to ask of an already great app but I would be willing to pay for the upgrade Nanostudio remains the best music app on the iPhone It is possible to do just about anything with this app Upload your own wav samples from your favorite sample library if you want more options GarageBand looks good but is nowhere near as deep as Nanostudio Thanks for making my favorite app Update I just realized that GarageBand doesnt have a midinote editor What good is that Most music apps Garageband included are just toys compared to Nanostudio Version 12 is fantastic and upgrading from 6 to 16 tracks for an additional 499 is a bargain If one can improve on perfection adding audio tracks for vocalsmic instruments along with effectsautotuneetc would be awesome I know youve been considering this Your support on your websites message boards is swell Keep up the great work Ive used NanoStudio since September 2010 Loved it then Love it now You can sample record sounds on the iPhone like tapping a dog with a knife or saying words like fire or import WAV samples Excellent midi editor Nice variety of sounds effects Midi out I export my mixdowns as WAV and import into my DAW eg Cubase 5 and elaborate using my favorite VST plugins Then I listen to my songs by myself and think that nobody understands or appreciates my geniosity Thank you for making this app I cant believe it is not in the top 10 I am a Cubase user but I find myself using nanostudio quite a lot especially on the toilet very inspirational My wife says that Im always on the toilet Little does she know that now thanks to nanostudio Im actually composing songs about toilets andor dogs Wont she be surprised                 Hemorrhoy R

Im shocked that an app for iphone like this isnt causing me to pull my hair out in frustration Its just great However I do wish that there were more options for synthesizers Im learning how to use this but Im new and used to physical synths so the language is hard for me to pick up on Also a noise removal option for recording samples would be easy and really helpful You could just play the mic a few sec before to get a sample of the noise to be removed                 No problems Really fun

Before beatmaker and caustic there was nano studio Still does the job very well This is a classic                 Great mobile music studio

I love producing music and this is a simple easy way to kill time and make good music on your phone and computer I usually use ableton 9 for bigger projects but this is just nice for the price                 Awesome app

If youre a newbie or just looking for an app to jot down ideas Nano Studio is ok but if your looking for an app that will give you full functionality with other more superior apps on the web NS Is way over priced No copy and paste and you will soon find out that their long term goal is to have users stay in the box Their is no audio copy and paste and Ive yet to find one user thats had to much success with its virtual midi In my opinion Nano is very limited        Just ok

This app is a steal Get it before they realize theyre giving it away No it wont replace your entire desktop studio But theyre is nothing close to it on the iPadiPhone for sketching out ideas on the go The thing has a Synth a sampling synth a sampling drum machine a full sample editor with effects a full sequencer with full edit and quantize feature for feature its simply a powerhouse If youre looking for a pushbutton music making app check out Yellofier or MusicMaker but if youre looking for a cross platform flexible extendable sketchpad this is the best                 So worth every penny

This has to be the best app for maintaining your creative flow Simple easy to learn intuitive interface and you could load all the samples you like By far my favorite mobile DAW And for all the negative remarks all good producers know you use more then one piece of software to make the final product Its like saying your song isnt good because you only used the piano Whereas a grand symphony is all different types of instruments played together to get a superior sound Same goes with music making software With that say I wouldnt be without nano studio when Im in my creative moods Thanks you wish to see more updates in the future                 5 stars

App crashes like crazy Lost some songs and lost some time w strange saving problems Help guys New update soon please been a user for several years now without a hitch                 HELP GUYS

A fairly basic need that isnt met on this DAW is the ability for the piano roll screens to have MIDIOut functionality Since recording through AudioBus requires indirectly recording into a drum machine and you can NOT audiopaste directly onto the time sequence it is impossible to record good quality sound into a track so the least you guys can do is provide MIDI Out        Poor Audio recording Needs MIDI OUT

This is still my favorite music creation app I love it Only writing this because of the people giving it the bad reviews Yes its the quantization function affecting the playback Turn it off Seriously spend a little bit more time exploring the features before you blast it on here They probably spent more time writing those reviews than trying to figure out the problem And for my review please add at least one audio track Its a bummer having to export the audio to another app to record then wanting to change something as simple as a sour note knowing you have to switch back and create another master track for export Throws off the creative process a bit Other than that its awesome                 The best

DONT BUY THIS APP IT SUCKSWow just wow 15 dollars for a supposed music DAW with no triplet note repeats at all I cant believe this piece of junk Its really not a hard concept to understand EVERY single other one out there has them I had the iMaschine and it only has 1 for its note repeat a 116t and so I thought I would buy this because FL Studio has always seemed like an inferior product I have no idea why I thought that because now FL Mobile Studio is the next thing Im buying I even upgraded to the 16 instrument tracks for like 5 more dollars hoping it would give me some dang triplets Dont waste your money like me I will delete this review and write a glowing positive one if you can update this thing with some frivkin triplets Until then this app I just wasted 20 dollars on will not be on my phone     NO TRIPLETS 18t 116t 132 none

This app is AMAZING Never before have I seen an app with SO many professional features and everything is brilliantly formatted for the small screen Im completely stunned at how fullfeatured this is on my phone Definitely well worth the asking price I havent used many other DAWs on the AppStore this was obviously the best based on reviews but I cant imagine anything even coming close to this                 Incredible

If you want to spend hours messing around with fun iOS music apps go for itthere are a lot of sweet ones If you want to complete songs open NanoStudio Look at it as a fullon mobile electronic music studio Or look at is as 15 channel multitimbral synthsampler with per channel effects and automation Either way its basically absurd how much you get for the price Long live NanoStudio                 Still the best

The app is fantastic and you can create any sound imaginable might take some time to figure out but its great Theres 2 problems The sound doesnt work after you receive a call and the only way to fix that is to restart the app And it will occasionally mess up wen you exit the app and lock your screen Needs an update fix ASAP And the other is a request We need to be able to record our voice inapp If you could fix the bug and add voice recording that would be great              SERIOUS SOUND PROBLEM
