Unfortunately I got the opportunity to try out this app here in OK last night The forecasts were right on with the tv stations I may not have figured this out yet but I wish it had a little more noticeable alert or the alert go off more than once so it would be sure to wake us during the night              Great App

Love the app Would like to also pick what areas I get warnings so I can monitor home for family members when I am in another city I do hate the alarm going off for continuing a warning or watch Nothing like being woken up in the middle of the night several times to say the watch continues           Must have

I love your app and it really comes in handy where I live where there are no tornado sirens but I have been waiting for awhile for you to update for the larger iPhone 5 screen now I still use it on severe weather days and it works perfectly in fact my area in under a severe weather threat tomorrow night yikes But the black bars are starting to become a bit of a nuisance Other than that excellent app thank you              Please Update

This app has been spot on for two spring storm seasons in Texas This year nothing Where did it go what happened what the heck Now in the middle of our second round of tornado watches who knows how many thunderstorm warnings and nothing If the company is gone itd be nice to know so I can delete the app since it is one that loves can depend on     What happened

I want my money back You can get better alerts from The Weather Channel I agree this is a rip off Dont waste your money This is the first time I have paid this much money for an app and I am so mad To whoever is in charge of refunds I want my money back I dont want to rate it one star but its making me rate it before it will post my comment     Not worth 1299

I love this app however there are no winter warnings I travel a lot and that would have been helpful              Works well

Great app in the fact it is very simplistic and informational at the same time Even when traveling I am covered                 Great App

It only alerts you for flash flood warnings severe thunderstorm warnings and tornado warnings Not worth 12        Fine

This app works wonderfully I recommend it From Alabama but recently spent time in MS where warning notifications followed me For those complaining you may need to make sure you refresh your location which I did I love how the risks areas are highlighted too Great job                 Awesome must have app

This App has not been update in 2 years The SPC Outlooks are broken and dont reflect the updated risk categories I would like to an update very soon otherwise Ill just delete itits hardly worth having because its no longer dependable even for watch and warning notifications        Out of Date

This is a great ap I love it at night It just woke me up when our area went under tornado warning Worth 10                 Love it

Great weather app Warns me when Im in an area where there are severe weather watches or warnings Does exactly what it says You can even increase the precision of your location when youre traveling or when the weather is changing rapidly                 Excellent

Purchased downloaded installed on iPhone The app will not even open Tap the app and it breifly shows a field to populate and then closes What a waste of money     Does not work

MyWarn performs as advertised and the follow up information is faster than the other radio and telephone weather apps Followup means MyWarn informs the subscriber when the threat of whatever the severe weather happens to be is no longer applicable If your location is in the polygon even at the extreme limits of said polygon your location is pinpointed and the current threat is valid You receive current specific and personal information immediately and as long as your personal survival situation is at risk MyWarn is personal very personal for you and for those for whom you are responsible For the information received and the protection afforded the price should be twice as much Westrel in Alabama                 Excellent

I traveled to Central Alabama for Christmas As some may know Christmas Day 2012 had a tornado outbreak Because of James Spanns recommendation I purchased this app in anticipation of the bad weather especially since I was traveling The app is terrible It never could find my location drained my battery would shut down as soon as I opened it and worst of all it did not provide any warning We were under a PDS watch and the app never warned me We were under multiple severe thunderstorm and one tornado warning and the app never warned me Basically I spend 13 on nothing The concept of the app is excellent but it needs serious improvements Im more surprised and disappointed that an app endorsed by James Spann was so terrible and provided absolutely no warning     Terrible Completely Useless

Does what is is supposed to do Bit its way too expensive at 999 Plus it keeps GPS on at all times and there is no way to disable that even temporarily I wouldnt mind the battery drain on days of threatening weather but it is a problem on all other days So I have taken to uninstalling the app and then reinstalling when the weather is bad Not an elegant solution           Does well but 2 big problems

I like the app Just wish there was a way the location services would remain off unless of a threat As of right now I have to keep location services for this app off manually all the time until a fix is pushed out to the users           Location service is draining my battery

Sirens are going off here for a tornado warning and though I have settings configured correctly this app has been silent It is a big Waste of money Too bad I cant give zero stars     Poor service

Does what it says but badly overpriced Only warnings are for flash flood severe thunderstorm and tornado Drains battery cannot set a location           Overpriced

Ive had this about 10 days and today was the first time weve had a warning It worked great and showed me exactly what I needed I live near the intersection of 3 counties so the regular warning system alerts by county are useless to me This does what they cant Thanks                 Best App Purchase Ever

This is one of two weather apps that has a place right on my homescreen Its a simple elegant tool for quickly getting targeted weather warnings watches and similar information Im something of a weather geek and still get information from this app that I wouldnt have caught otherwise like waking up forgetting to check the SPC site but having MyWarn alert me that Im under a risk of severe storms for the day The information displayed seems minimal but it can lead to more information and for its intended purposewarning you of severe weatherits spoton The developer is super responsive and already ahead of the game when it comes to improvementsnew featureswhen I sent in a list of four ideas it turned out all of them were already intheworks and were deployed a few weeks later In an app store full of metoo weather console apps this one stands out as one of the few weather apps that offers something new and really useful It is also the only locationbased warning app that Ive tried that consistently warns you every time                 Simple elegant extremely useful

Only iOS app that gives you actual weather warnings Ive been using it for a year only real issue I have is that there isnt a true iPad              Love this app

Beats NOAA radio with its selectable pinpoint alerts Where I live the radio is constantly going off with every type of threat With MyWARN I dont need to be woken up about a flood watch for a river thats ten miles away                 I love this app

Having grown up in Joplin MO we are very sensitive to severe weather results Now we live in North Texas and are thankful for this app It is far more accurate that any other device local media folks and socalled weather radios it remembers your last location and rapidly pinpoints you when you turn on Location Services It DOES NOT cry wolf Managing battery life is the least we can do as users to make certain that we are alert Last night after the GranburyCleburne Texas tornadoes we thought our area was out of danger MyWarn alerted us that tornado circulation was detected and the warning box encompassed our home MyWarn hit us first with the alert before the live CBS TV station finally came up with the circulation map We had sufficient time to get to the storm shelter and wait out the potential threat Later MyWarn also told us that the threat had passed If you can only afford one application get this one It really works                 Oh Yes It Works

After I downloaded the program I realized it does not inform you of weather forecast as far as weather Temp Etc I had to install weather bug and it gave me a lot more detail on the weather etcbut it does not give a beeping tone to warn me of any bad weather in the area Thanks Leo           Could do a lot more

I havent seen anything that makes this worth the cost Its really useless to have an app that gives me as much information as I can get looking out the window It would be useful if it was synced to local tornado sirens and alerted you of when they were going off All I have seen is a little message that pops up and lets me know of a general area announcement Save your money and get the weather channel app     Not Worth The Cost

Ever since I downloaded the app my GPS indicator stays on Not pleased at all for a 12 app     Constantly uses GPS

About 6 weeks ago I guess the app got overworked during a night of tornado watches warnings it hasnt worked since Ha ha But seriously for the past couple of hours having tremendous thunder lightening Local television weather issuing severe thunderstorm warnings but according to this app all is clear I dont think it has worked at all in at least a month     Not working

Im sure that app works great However if its capable if the alerts it is capable of it should have the ability to select or selectable all of the nws alerts not just the three it does Also I do not like the price of the app for what you get and also please update this so my location icon is not on ALL THE TIME        Well

Two things that are needed 1 The alarm needs to sound multiple times A user acknowledgement would be nice 2 The alarm should override the phones mute option If the phone it set to vibrate you would never notice the alarm           Watcher

Several warnings have gone off this morning and its perfectly clear outside When I actually pull the app up there are no warnings posted Alarms keep saying were under tornado watch but nothing shows when app is open Ive tried to reset location but it wont reset Waste of money     Warnings keep going off for another location

This is the best app ever It even shows the local news station I live in Birmingham AL witch is the place where MyWARN is located and where James Spann is so I get the abc 3340 weather radar on it THE ONLY CON IS THAT IT NEEDS TO HAVE A iPad FORMAT but it is still the best app                 GREAT

Just had severe weather a few days ago and this app performed perfect I got watches and warnings before tv announced it but only for my general area I wasnt bothered by the ones that were on the other side of the county I havent noticed much less battery life using this app either Maybe 5 more over a day than without it which is not bad                 Nice App

The warning sounds were louder Its a great program Ive only been using it about a week and its gotten a real workout since weve had the potential for severe weather including tornado activity over the past several days I had my iPod sitting on my desk next to me so I could hear the various warning tones but they were so soft id have never heard them if my iPod had been in my handbag or briefcase And it certainly wouldnt wake me from a sound sleep I have the volume at the highest level so this isnt operator error I have another weather app that screams at meit would wake the dead Unfortunately that app isnt as precise so Im getting warnings I dont need MyWarn is exactly what it says it is But the warning sounds need to be louder and distinct              Five Star IF

Great notifications with this app I was in the middle of a call and heard a beep notifying me that a tornado watch was just issued in my area I recommend that you keep your device charged and OFF VIBRATE during these situations so you can get an audible alert like when youre asleep If anything the only improvement I would suggest is for audible alerts when you have your device switched on vibrate only Thanks for a great app                 Excellent App

For such an expensive app you would think it would at least have a radar view which you can get with even the free weather apps No information is given with the warnings If you want you can scroll through the national weather service posting on the app for about 10 minutes to see if you can find something useful goodluckitsprettyhardtoreadwithnospaces No way to see when a storm is coming how bad it will be how long it will last Just There is a risk of severe weather in your area in the next 11 hours I get the notifications ALL the time and rarely see the storm And as a matter of fact its pouring rain at my house right now and havent gotten a warning USELESS The free apps are way better     Not impressed At all

So far so good with this appi like it because it dont bother you until severe weather is heading your way Of course it notifies you way ahead of time so you will have time to Prepare Its not like other apps where if your county is under a the watch or warning it will notify you It only does when its actually heading your way so there no false alarm The warnings are quick and on time Love it                 Great App a must have

Just had a severe thunderstorm hit my town Did not know I was under a severe thunderstorm warning until it actually hit and I pulled my phone out to look at the radar The my warn app had a notification on my phone screen but I never heard the alarm The alarm needs to be loud and it needs to sound until disabled The geo terrestrial app no longer available would do just that and you could even set different alarms for different warnings     Did not hear the alert

After the last few updates this app will not pick up a location nor do warnings work I sitting under a tornado watch right now and this 10 piece of crap doesnt have a clue I am in a danger area I want my 10 bucks back     Used to be good

Ive never reviewed an app before This morning a was woken up by my My Warn telling me there was a tornado warning for my area It was right overhead My iPhone alert never went off and by the time I grabbed my iPad and ran to my safe spot not even the local weather guys had mentioned the tornado warning yet Thankfully the tornado didnt touch down at my house but if it had I would have been in the safest spot in my home instead of asleep in bed but only because MyWarn woke me up No other app notified me and I have a few bc Im a weather dork                 Great

Love the app but have noticed my phone has to be charged at least twice a day Wish I could turn this app off when not in use              Battery Life
