I thought it was going to be awesome Something like The Room 2 Not really I WAS NOT satisfied Personally        Meh

This is a classic which lends itself well to the mobile format I enjoyed playing through it again Its also nice to play a mobile game that makes me use my brain just a tad                 My nostalgia is tingling

I loved Myst when it first came out and this version isnt a bad port But the game keeps crashing I my iPhone 6 when I try to load a bookmark or start a new game Im currently stuck in Dni with no way to go back to my last save or restart the game Dont buy this until this bug is fixed        Great game but cant load

This is a great game to play any time However I only rated it 4 stars because I wish the screen size of the game was bigger to be able to fit iPod touch 5th genration              Old Favorite

Really great I gave this a bad review because the bookmarks cause the app to crash on iPhone so you cant save games This is still true but you dont need to save alternative games to enjoy this one Second only to Riven as it is really perfect for iPhone                 Bookmarks crash revised no biggie

If you are the adventurous type then this game is right up your ally If you like the fast paced shoot them up bang bang types then skip this one No big inventories or special spells to memorize No speed challenges But you must be a thinker Someone who can understand some mechanical working Nothing deep but more common sense If this sounds like you then this is your game I played it in 93 and will play it on my flight to the Philippines You will want to have a small note pad to take a few very few notes and diagrams Immerse yourself into a game that put the gaming world on its heels This game is a Classic already and will be for years to come Once you complete this game you will want to play Riven the followon game Good luck and great adventures to you                 A great adventure from long ago

Loved it controls are simple puzzles are very logical and range from fairly simple to complex Paper and pen help on the more complicated puzzles and paying attention to all the little details throughout is a must I finished the game sooner than I would have liked so naturally I found the fact that the Rime age was not included in this version to be very disappointing If there is a Rime update in the future I will rereview with 5 stars              Best puzzle game ever

I would have given a 5 star review but my iPhone 4 iOS 6x can only do sound mirroring via AirPlay Is there a way to do video mirroring           AirPlay

This is a game where you can switch to different view angles by touching the side of screen and interact with this If I knew it were this type of game I wouldnt have bought it DONT GET ME WRONG it is a good game just not my type                 Good game but not my type

Nothing has been upgraded to fit current technology and the control is the worst Dont purchase this game Its a waste of money     Waste of money Play the Room instead

So this was and still is a favorite game of mine I played this originally ages ago on the computer and immediately bought the game on my phone years ago and loved it but did have problems because the phone is smaller but still played Last year I bought an iPad and just recently wanted to play again Ive never had an issue with re downloading games that I purchased on my phone to my iPad but unfortunately cannot do that with this game because there is a different app of the same game that is meant for iPads and I have to spend another 7 with the same iTunes account for this game Its a bummer cause I really wanted to replay the game again and was looking forward to the bigger screen but see no point to buy the same game twice It would be wonderful if the original app would work for the iPad or if you were able to prove your prior purchase for the new app and avoid the double charge           Would be a 5

Just finished playing through on my iPad 3 Everything in the game works perfectly I remember playing around with the game in the local computer store when it was originally released Im a computer graphics enthusiast and remember how cool it was to see that you could do graphics like that with off the shelf software of the day I often thought about making my own games inspired by yours                 Great Memories of a Classic Game

If you were around when Myst first came out then you remember how original this game was Well its all right here If you are looking for fast paced action violence blood and gore Well Look somewhere else If you are looking for a fun relaxing visually pleasing good sound track mindlogic puzzle game that pulls you in then give it a try Just remember this is a blast from the past and not a modernnew game It is clean meaning it is children safe There is are a few small sequences where a man appears slightly insanestrange and another that appears manipulatingevil No harsh language or crude references Spoiler Two brothers are each trapped inside a book Both try to convince you to help them One is evil the other mental Their message is garbled with static like a tv that is reduced as you progress in the game In the end of the game they can communicate clearly and you have to decide who is truthful You do not interact with them you only listen The times you see them are brief and not a central part of the game They might appear strange to some younger people if they dont understand the role the characters are playing They look normal no gore                 Awesome find for those that lived the original

This is a great port of a classic masterpiece                 One of the best games of all time

Excellent original blockbuster Myst Although Im sure it would have a better rating and more reviews if they gave it a more reasonable price 5 for an app most people havnt heard of is a bit much                 Best point and click adventure

I was so excited to buy this app and after literally 5 minutes of game play I cant go to the mechanical world in the clock tower I want my 5 bucks back Go spend your money on an app thats worth it     Bug already

This has to be my favorite game of all time Well its much more than a game Its a portal to another world I have played the game once then read all three books and played it again years later and it was just as amazing as when I first stumbled into MYST                 A True Classic

Just played it for my first time ever Even though its nearly 30 years old its still far better than many most iOS apps Definitely getting the sequel                 Fantastic

The graphics are so bad and gameplay is clunky I cant believe I wasted 5 on this Save your money     Awful

The game is just as good as ever Actually its better since it moves smoother and responds quicker than lets say a windows 95 computer lol The only complaint is that I am unable to use the bookmarks When I try to load it just kicks me out of the app and when I come back in Im still in the same spot                 Just like the old days 1 complaint

Ive only heard about Myst and never played Only because by the time of its release I was still at a young age of 11 yrs old and games such as this was never in my radar I was only able to grasp platform games such as Mario and fighting games such as street fighter II back on the SNES golden days Then evolved to shooters like golden eye on N64 But I digress Now at the age of 30 and my taste in games have evolved namely puzzle adventures such as this Ghost Trick The Room I II for iOS as my current all time favorites Im extremely glad I came upon this old gem The mysterious adventure that Myst throws you into is one of a kind The puzzles were an absolute pleasure to try and solve as I wandered around the islands and traveled to different Ages I really tried my hardest to not use any type of guide but unfortunate to say I did use it only once And that was at the Selenentic Age trying to navigate the tunnels I love puzzles and especially if its accompanied with a story line So if you really enjoy solving puzzles of any kind you should definitely download this It was worth every penny                 An absolutely magnificent adventure

Myst is just as fun to play now as it was over 20 years ago Its puzzles and intriguing story kept me playing for days on end My only complaint is it isnt optimized for the iphone 5 screen              Just as I remember it

If you dont like this game its probably because you never played it before This game came out in 1993 and plays like a world changing 1993 game Great game Amazing music and feeling I wish I could be 10 all over again and play it for the first time                 Exactly how you remember it

When I bought this app I thought I would be able to transfer this app to my iPad air not only was I not able to transfer the app to the iPad air but they wanted another 699 to buy the app for the iPad great game great graphics but in my mind its double dipping and greed wins out once again     Double Dipping

Myst was the first game I ever played on CDROM back when video and sound was not commonplace and the game holds up over the years its still my favorite adventurepuzzle game and this iPhone version does it justice to say the least The images look truly stunning on my iPhone 4 versus the original version All of the sounds video and animation have been perfectly duplicated It runs very fast and the autosave works perfectly If you love Myst this app will not dissapoint Its also fun to bust out around friends that remember this game As soon as they see the Cyan intro logo and Atrus falling into the fissure they instantly want to play                 Relive the Myst experience

Love the game and was amazed that Id never heard of it even though its a classic Better late than never though right Love it Seriously everything I want in a game I would love the rest of the Myst sequels to be on here as well such as Exile                 FANTASTIC

got this app so I could finally progress past the very beginning been messing with it for months finally tried checking walkthroughs for help cant get it done when I do exactly what the video shows

My dad suggested this game to me so I bought it I love it but unfortunately I cant make any new bookmarks or anything Im on iOS 8 on my iPod 5 and I can only play on one world and cant make a new one for my cousin to play on Please fix this Cyan I understand if you dont have time with the production of Obductionlol it rhymes and all Otherwise I completely suggest buying it worth your money Thanks Cyan for one of the best games ever              Love but

I originally played this game on the Sega Saturn game system and was amazed by the images Yes the are static 3D pictures but the fact that someone was able to create them gave me happy dreams of the future of gaming graphics The game works just fine on my new phone and I had little trouble navigating the worlds Sometimes I went the wrong way but it was mostly due to screen size and finger size I beat it fairly soon after buying it but I can always let my young family members play it when I see them Its still fun to explore                 Excellent on iPhone 5s

Downloaded and played today but I couldnt load my bookmarks The game crashed every time I just upgraded my phone to iPhone6 and I am running the current operating system Still the game crashes I want to give it 5 stars but I dont want someone to spend money on a lemon Game is great but dont plan on saving any progress     Bugs

Awesome classic                 First

This game is not as well known as I wish it were but Myst is positively timeless in itself Ive beaten Myst a few times in the past but every few years Ill go back and play it again once I forget the details and Ive never become sick of it My grandfather introduced me to Myst when I was about 12 years old and I immediately became hooked Fourteen years later at 26 I still love playing this game and it doesnt have that disappointing old game feel that so many others do The puzzles the exploring and the thinking required brought Myst to a status above most games Ive played and the challenging but not overlydifficult nature of Myst makes it a satisfying achievement to finish it at any age Myst is a game ahead of its time for sure The iOS adaption is awesome and Im certainly not disappointed I say you should do yourself and your neurons a favor and experience Myst now if you havent already                 A Timeless Classic

This is still be best game I have ever played in my whole life It teaches you how to be patient and think to examine everything Best played with a notebook to write down clues and draw maps Sound and graphics makes if a peaceful and believable world that just draws you in                 Still the best game Ive ever played
