I love this app to journal my prayers It keeps me focused when praying by writing my prayers down My only complaint is since downloading the ISO 802 my alignment is not right           Good app

I started journaling a couple of years ago when I was laid up after surgery My previous journal was filled with crossed out lines and out of order notes This allows me to go back and add things I had forgotten and lets me fix those typos I love it and enjoy having the ability the create multiple journals Thank you so much                 Works great for me

Serves my purposes quite well BUT we need a way to get rid of a journal that cannot be accessed that is cannot recall the password or 20 characters Albeit my fault for not recalling the password I would like to at least use that journal for something else Now it is locked and taking up space I could reuse Fix this and I give it an overwhelming five stars Thank you              myMemoir

This used to be good but recently my keyboard the letters portion has begun to disappear If I reboot it will come back but it often disappears again quickly It leaves the symbols Only the letters disappear Needs an update to address this issue I guess        Update needed

I really like this application Easy to enter thoughts and ideas Easy to locate information previously entered I feel its missing the ability to print excerpts as well export to Word or some other word processor           Very Practical App

I looked extensively for a good journal app that is more traditionalbased that looks and feels like a real journal as opposed to the social media framework other journaling apps have migrated toward This one did the trick The most important feature for me was the exporting capabilities since I want this journal to endure time and not be confined to viewing on the iPad While most journal apps allow rtf export this app additionally can create the EPUB ebook format You can add up to three pictures as well as video and format them into the middle of the journal entries for exporting The journal looks stunning in iBooks PDF export is also available The one feature I found this app as well as all others lacking is the ability to export the journal AS IT APPERS IN THE APP ie with the same font background notepadlook via PDF This seems like a reasonable feature to code into an app but no apps had it Thus you should probably plan on viewing entirely in iBooks or exporting the rtf and then formatting a nice digital journal with some other computer software All in all this journal app beat all of the others in my opinion One warning They charge a bit extra for some additional customization features that are not necessary but can be nice I think the total price after paying this is very fair But I dislike when apps try to bait you with an initial lower cost and then squeeze more money from you later              EPUB the key feature

This app is THE most beautiful and useful app ever Please add more features Also add more options for saving A snapshot option would be awesome for sharing poems or beautifully written content to share on Instagram Anyways thank you It really inspires me to write thanks                 MY FAVORITES APP EVER BEAUTIFUL

It has been a blessing to me It helps me with devotionals and journaling I love the fact that I can add additional journal as needed Would like an easier way to delete a journal when needed Great app                 Love it

This product is great for writing down your thoughts ideas and day to day diary The main thing that fought my eye and ultimately made me purchase was the fact you can password protect your books My concern is when I leave my book open when I return to the program its still open I hope that gets taken care of in the future and would recommend it to all              Great product 1 concern

I love this journal app It is so customizable and user friendly A beautiful interface as well I also appreciate the ability to create my own unique password and not just a four number or so pass code Love the ability to take or insert pictures for each days entry The work that has been put into this app makes journaling a truly pleasant and rewarding experience Great Job                 Love it

I enjoy using this appuntil i tried to restore my journal entries on to my new iPad It will not restore from either Dropbox or file sharing even though all the backup entries are present This is totally unacceptable and needs to be fixed If i cant get my entries into my new iPad this app is totally useless to me     Horrible Backup Restore

Variety of themes you can create your own themes using photos and more and you can have multiple journals The program does change the entry to the current date whenever you go back to an entry Even changing it manually doesnt make it stick which is a serious problem As a work around I include the date in the entry title which works for me Hasnt been updated in a couple of years so I doubt this is going to get fixed but its definitely fun to use           Fun customizable date problems

Started using this app to journal the birth and early years of my daughter Loved the features and the ability to export for publication Then I updated to an iPad 4 and lost all of my dates I tried to correct manually but the app keeps resetting all dates to the current date and time Whats the point of a journal if you cant record the date Until this issue is resolved dont buy     Ugh lost my dates

Being able to create multiple journals is a big plus I use one for my garden one for noting birds and could think of other uses for a separate journal I bought the custom themes and like being able to make each journal look different Its fun to be able to add video Being able to export in different ways is great Just wish it was compatible with iPhone and could sync I use Day One to take photos with my phone and make short notes that I can fill in later on the iPad It would be nice to be able to do that within My Memoir     Great journaling app

How do I customize this app                 Custom

I used to absolutely love this app and I started keeping entries during the pregnancy and birth of my child but the date stamps in recent months all reset to the current date The hope was to give my son a glimpse of my thoughts during his first years or all years but now its pointless as the stuff that was really neat for him to do and for me to experience him do at 6 months of age doesnt have the same meaning at 18 months I kept thinking it was a glitch and that an update was coming soon but its been too long with no improvement to this critical piece of functionality to a journaling app Too bad because I really liked the app otherwise     Date stamps are a mess

Was working fine but with iOS8 it seems to have fallen apart The pass word protection does not work because sometimes the file doesnt close and all the documents format left off the page Since it hasnt been fixed I cant recommend it if they dont fix it     mymemoir

This app is easy to use I like the ability to have multiple journals with different themes and with or without passwords I wish it were compatible with iPhone and voice recognition              Easy to use

This is a fantastic app but when iOS 8 came out it messed up the formatting When typing the words do not appear within the confines of the page They begin off to the far left Its frustrating because not only does it look awkward but it makes it difficult to even see some of what you are typing as it blends into the background I would give the app five stars if this could be remedied with an update        Needs to be updated

I love this app Its easy to use I particularly like the ability to have multiple journals within the same app to customize each journal and to add password locks to the journals you want to keep private Its also easy to import text from other apps The one thing I would like to see would be the ability to add boldface and italic type                 Great journal

Pretty basic and easy to use I like that you can password protect those more private entries but not allnot everything is a a secret eh Does what I need a place to record thoughts that prying eyes cannot access                 Easy and No Frills

I have always been a journaler since I was 6 years old and as an artist I have been very attached to my paper journals as of late unlined moleskins but as my life has become more digital I kinda sorta wanted to be able to journal on my ipad when the moment might strike me Well I ran out of a moleskin months ago and I have been all digital here and love it I have a few different journals and each one is customized to cover pages fonts and font colors I also love that I can attach pictures The only thing I would love for them to add is the ability to not leave the app to take a picture or a video and just have a button to record right there Then I think it would be perfect And maybe to have a different background page for each page to set as the mood strikes But really I would love those but it doesnt keep me from using the app like so many others that I down load and end up deleting If you want something that is plain and has no frills like writing in a composition book then maybe this is not for you But if you want your journal to reflect how totally cool and unique you are this might make your day makes mine                 Love the customizations

Ive spent a small fortune on writingjournal app and without question this is the best                 Just Buy It

Used to love this app especially EPUB export feature Now I cant use it because original entry dates change to current date when you open or edit an entry The date changes even if I manually correct it Now I have a journal with all entries dated today     Entry dates changed to current date

This journal app rocks because it allows you to customize the themes for your journals you can choose from their themes or upload your own pictures I also really like that Im able to create multiple journals I currently only have 2 journals a book journal and a personal journal for my thoughts but I am thinking of other journals to create for fun Other cool features I enjoy include ability to password protect each journal with different passwords and the option to save a copy of my journal to my Dropbox account                 Excellent journal app

I love that this app just lets me write Its a journal It doesnt need all those bells whistles It is great to use wherever I am at I love that I can add to it and it just appears endless I dont realize how much Ive written until I export it Thanks for beauty in simplicity                 Great App

I appreciate the clean look and simple functionality but what makes this one stand out among the other journal apps is the ability to export as text and PDF formats that can be read outside of the app To me backups in proprietary format kind of defeat the purpose Would love to be able customize the main screen more but this app hits the spot                 Beautiful app

Update I used to love this app Im so disappointed Visiting one of my old entries resets the datetime stamp to today So wrong and frustrating I mean some of my comments I would only have context by the date Now my journal is useless And I have to be extra careful trying to copy the journal to a different app Old review Im really enjoying this app Many of the competing journalling apps include the claim that they datetime stamp entries This one does as well but it can be edited The other nice thing it includes is a auto date insert function in a handful of formats So say you want to continue writing within that entry at a later time but want that timedate identified it has a quick and easy way to do it I would have given it 5 stars if it had more designs or a slightly easier interface or even a large repository of backgrounds to choose from on their site It feels like the cost should have included quite a bit of customization However I hear they are much better than their competitors on that     Datetime Stamp Fail

I began journaling several years ago following The Artists Way After buying an iPad I decided to stop using a traditional journal and try this app instead I enjoy journalling with this app its easy to record the days thoughts events and experiences Its especially useful being able to have more than one journal as I can use a separate journal to write blog entries even when Im offline and upload them later                 A very good journaling app

Ive been keeping a diary and even used this app to write a first draft of a novel it has word count by sections and I find it a very useful and capable app Has passwords spell check and even a dictionary Very easy to use                 solid

I ended up closing all other journals this one holds my most sincere prayers to God each day where I can paste a scripture onto the page if it corresponds andor insert a picture that Ive created and saved in my photos I keep it locked so that I can be brutally honest and if its a day that Im cleaning a messy house or a day Im exercising relentlessly a picture is easily inserted for that day see locked is good                 Love this app

I used to love this program but after I installed iOS 80 things arent working right formatting is shot text with not stay in the boundaries of the page of virtual paper I cant enter more than a screen load of text on any given day etc I hope the developer can fix soon so I can get caught up on my diary        Problems with IOS 8

The written journal is good but the photo journal is terrible Photos can only be square and worse in getting them into that orientation they are distorted For sure a flaw that needs to be resolved           Photo Lacking
