I bought this because I used to have a Motorola Razr HD MAXX with a huge led external notification light and wanted the same type of notification system I don t use facebook and use my laptop of email so when I found out it wasn t text integrated my fault since I didn t check before hand just assumed it became useless I tried to use it with Twitter but it started blinking for no reason when my phone had no notifications at all and it s just been collecting dust now Really disappointed I wasted my money on this could definitely use improvements considering tons of people want this for imessage text Good theory though         Really Dissapointed Kld2009

I bought this little device about a year or so ago and it is amazing It lights up beautifully The only thing is we need it mostly for text messages Text messages rule over phone calls So I was always taking it out cause I just don t get that many phone calls as in the comparison to text messages Please try to make it happen for the text messages It would be AWESOME then             Almost perfect Cocodawn30

This product worked for a day After that it was all goofy blinking on alerts colors that it wanted to A lot of times no notifications at all I notified the seller to all the problems I was encountering They said they would send me a replacement since it was obvious mine was defective They suddenly stopped communicating with me entirely no living up to their promises I paid my hard earned money for this product and expected it to work This kind of customer service will just make it hard on others trying to sell their inventions Can t put my trust in any one else at this point STILL WAITING FOR MY REPLACEMENT Let this be a warning to other potential buyers BAD PRODUCT     Bad Product SargAl

Got the red green and red blue LEDs from the myLED website Quite a project to get the device working most of it involving turning up three different volumes ringer w o device plugged in in app volume w o device plugged in in app volume w device plugged in Will not flash or be solid in red just blue or both Needs more work but not bad once you figure it out             Pain to get working AlejandroPapita

Anyways I really loved the idea behind this app as a past Motorola smart phone user and so I bought a single dual color led periph Adding email was bugging out at first I eventually was able to add one gmail account Secondly the periph itself is not notifying me properly The preemies work breathing blinking solid But when it shows me an alert it goes all whacky To text this I currently have the app set to only Facebook notifications as solid blue Nothing should blink breath or turn red Whenever it triggers it is a mesh of blinking and breathing red and blue If this issue is fixable with a patch please let me know or I would like to return your product Lastly the main reason I picked this up was for being able to see text alerts There currently is no setting for text alerts and I am highly disappointed Your product is really expensive so I expect for it to function properly at the very LEAST Thanks 2 6 update nov 17th The peripheral is still showing red AND blinking when I choose to only alert in solid blue Still no text alerts     Disappointed Will update review next patch Ruby147468543

I backed the myLED kickstarted project and am seriously disappointed The app is buggy ambiguous difficult to understand and doesn t work properly For example the LED won t display just red or blue for me When I want to have it just use blue in an alert there s a flash of red during each illumination of the blue and likewise So you can t actually tell the different alerts apart And they re not at all consistently working etc Please fix this     Disappointed with myLED AdLib13

I got in on this Kickstarter project Arrived today Hardware looks good small but bright Installed app adjustable blinking speed LED color etc What I didn t expect is to have to RE define all my mail accounts to have it monitor them Why does it not just read them from notification center Unhappy with this thing Maybe it s me though Tried to find out more about the software went to read the manual online from the link IN the software takes me to a page advertising the product not a guide Tried the same URL in a web browser on a PC same thing Requiring a full second definitiion of all my mail accounts is unacceptable Only thing this is good for is keeping dust out of my headphone port I m getting soured on Kickstarter projects         Received software not what I expected cmoschip

I have an iPhone 5 The device does not work I also tried it on my iPad 2 and iPad 3 There is a feature that let s you test the LED Sometimes that feature works but mostly fail When LED does light it is so feint that it is hard to see in a dark room Don t waste time or money     Since a zero rating is not available I have to give it a one Azodd

So close yet so very far toward actually being useful on a daily basis What a disappointment 1 Does not use iOS notifications as its source for email alerts they require that you provide your info password for each email account directly in the app 2 If the LEDs actually require full volume for output then how is it that the brightness may be turned down in the app Work with the current volume level or change it programmatically when the LED is plugged in if it s possible 3 Seems very buggy with frequent crashes 4 Minimal interface is a fantastic start but somewhat awkward to use     They take your email password AppDev11

I just received my myLED in the mail today and started messing with it its a great idea but just some minor kinks If i try to make a notification just breathe the secondary color blue red still flashes before it Also I d love to see if maybe with the new iOS 7 coming if you can have it flash for text messages Also will y all be adding support for any notification alerts like mail i dont use the built in apple mail app i use another or like can it flash while I m getting a call just minor things like that                 Great app but That1guy2112
