The My World Atlas -Lite is now available as a free download on Apple Store for iPad owners. The application is supporting English language. It weighs in at only 62.9 MB to download. The new My World Atlas -Lite app version 4.7 has been updated on 2014-11-16. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. Useful reference Although data may not be complete it is still a good alternative to using a globe as a geography reference offline It can be nicer if it wraps around when you swipe left or right to mimic using a physical globe Handy reference

This looks like a great app Design wise it seems fine but I typed in Israel and nothing showed up Last I checked it was declared a country may 1948 Its on the map in the app but no info and its not on their search function Im not getting political because I even looked up Palestine Nothing What

As with all map Apps It only gives an overview and not enough details When offline it is rather useless and only good enough to locate main towns and orientation direction I am still waiting for a good map App Missing Details offline

This app is practical when do your planning for a trip but better not to use it away from a hot point you will be redirected to Safari and will have to face advertisements that u are not in while travelling Practical
This App is not worth the time it takes to to download Thank goodness it is free Searching for a city does not bring up a city map it finds a map for a country that may or may not include the city Sometimes the city name will appear in the search list but a dropdown will appear that states the city cannot be found The most crazy feature requires one to touch the negative button to zoom in Bad App

Fine for identifying most big countries and major cities I guess but thats it Lots of smaller territories and most islands including the entire Caribbean chain arent on the map Lame
As the title says it has everything from detailed maps to in depth info and travel utilities Honestly it surpasses my expectation of a free app Most comprehensive Atlas app
While it works great offline accessing the App online opens Safari and directs you to advertisements Altering the settings is no help Terrible App

Poor app I would rather have a good app that shuts down after a week forcing me to pay for it than one than cuts off after a few seconds and I cannot evaluate it Flawed
I was not aware that I would have to purchase every map that I need to view All map is locked unless you spend several dollars to purchase entry It is useless to me I did not realize free meant download and then purchase everything not just upgrade There s nothing to view with out purchasing every map Maps
Guess what The Netherlands is not available so dont try and find it And the data on Malaysia for per capita GDP well it is off by billions Not a well designed app the ads bring in revenue for someone how about hiring someone who is competent Not so hot
After installing this app I really feel that I can go for its higher paid versions It is such beautifully designed with all apt features The Big world map I think is sufficient in itself A satisfactory feel
This atlas app limits search to countries only It couldnt find several major cities Weak
deleted bad map where is slovak republic
This is a very poor map Very limited magnification with details and significant errors of omission in the Mid East in particular no Israel Lebanon and no indication of the so called Palestinian areas Map of the world
How can you leave out some important countries Intentional Political statement
what a discouraging app There is no way to move past all the irritating advertisements No way to click to X out or a way around This would be an excellent app if you could actually get to it Cant Move Past The Advertisements

Designer of this atlas dont know difference between Slovakia and Slovenia For both of them it show the map of Slovenia What else it is going to be mixed up North Dakota and will show map of New York And also I dont want to put not even one star but it wont let mi submit without the stars Worthless
Not worth the time it takes to download and definitely not worth the memory it takes up Might be okay for a lower grade elementary student for quick reference Not Worth It

This App was advertised as being independent of an Internet connection However when you zoom into a useful level of detail it reverts to Google maps which does require Internet service Moreover when I installed the App It began flashing advertisements on the screen Dont bother with this one Strange App
This app used to be decent but now when I open it there is nothing but a string of ads This is not helpful when trying to load quickly to use in the classroom Please put the ads in some other way Thanks Lose the ads
I like knowing where every major and not so major citytown and province is located this app makes it happen in 4D style Im a atlas fanatic
I got the free app to use with my class because of the country profiles I can handle constant pop up ads since I cannot buy a paid app for 70 kids But most of the free portions are blank I needed the country profiles because our Contemporary World Geography books are 15 years oldnot very contemporary But this app just caused more problems with all the features that were over promised and under delivered They should pay ME
You cannot delete it I wish I had not downloaded it Hangs on update and blocks all others
