This app is so incredible Its very user friendly and 199 is so much better than paying 1000 for a DJ The dance floor was full the entire night because we got to pick all the songs we love Thank you myweddingdj for helping us make our celebration a success                 Awesome

Used it for my wedding last week in August downloaded songs on my laptop synced them to my iphone changed up the playlist to play approx every 4 fast songs to 1 slow song Worked great Love it prob wont ever use again but for only 5 when DJ quotes were hundreds saved a lot and got to download the playlist we wanted not including all the typical cheesy wedding songs Highly recommend                 Saved a lot of

Absolutely love it It was worth the 200 I spent I love the way it fades out so u dont have to and being able to use my songs from iTunes                 Love it

I bought it to look at it and it looks pretty legit Easy and simple my wedding hasnt happened yet but I think I can get my groomsmen to run it and go pretty smooth Would give it 5 stars but I want to reserve that for after the wedding so far its done what is promised Will write again thanks              Coming soon

This app is worth much more than the 5 cost My bride and I opted to forego the 1500 deejay We bought an IPad2 and a couple hundred dollars worth of wedding reception music Having a background in music and friends in the industry we created our playlists and away we went The wedding reception was perfect The crossfade made the music seamless And at the end of the day we saved and have an iPad2 None of that matters though if the reception had hit a snag but with this app the reception music was flawless Some of the moves on the dance floor howevernot so flawless A great app Worth far beyond the price Easy to set up Easy to work with during the wedding reception And great communication with Mr Pike Highly recommend this app                 Pure Awesomeness

Super easy to personalize and fades out when youre ready to start a new section I have a DJ but this will insure that nothing gets played wrong during the wedding like it has at other weddings Ive attended super awesome and well worth the 199 for peace of mind on that day at least where the music is concerned                 Amazing

I used this app for my wedding and it was great I like that you have to slide to start the next playlist so if you arent ready yet the current one can keep playing on repeat Im very happy with how everything turned out and it was so much cheaper than a DJ                 Highly recommend

I havent tried this with my speakers yet but its been pretty painless setting up this app and playing back my playlists on my phone While unnecessary to its function I like that the app warns you of potential problems you might run into while using this in the form of warnings in its Settings menu Theyre things that you probably know to do but may nevertheless forget when youre feeling a bit frazzled on your wedding day ie turn on airplane mode so your music isnt interrupted plug it in so you dont run out of battery and mute the phone entirely when locked Of course this requires you to remember to consult the Settings but at least you dont have to remember any other items This app is very much a player not an editor If you go into it realizing this then your experience will go more smoothly For example you can choose a song or a premade playlist for each section You cannot however create playlists directly within this app or my main gripe permanently edit existing playlists that youve chosen you can edit during playback but those changes dont stick Instead you must edit it in the iPhones regular music app Then you must select a different song or playlist then reselect your edited one in order for the changes to take effect I can see how this might be a good thing eg you forgot that your app playlists are tied to the iPhone playlists and you changed them but the app should let you know that changes to the playlist were not updated because I didnt find out about this until I ran through my playlists a couple times In the same vein you cannot fast forward a song to the end in order to quickly listen to its transition into the next song This app pretty much expects you to have everything locked down before loading them up Secondly in the Music Plan each section is numbered And so is every wait period between each section I dont think listing the wait is strictly necessary since this is the apps default behavior and the behavior of every single playlist Ive ever seen waiting after it ends presumably if you wanted it to play straight through it would go on the same playlist Moreover the greyed out text and line separating it from the next section below are sufficient to identify it so the numbers for each wait should be removed For those who keep track of what number theyre on rather than strictly the name of the section we may have named something that makes sense to us but not necessarily the person working it on the day of it just adds visual clutter which is a personal pet peeve of mine For example I have 36 separate items with the waits Admittedly Im sectioning labelinghappy but I still only have 18 unique items If I try to slide the next section forward too quickly the music sometimes skips Theres no real way to tell what too quickly is as the bar for sliding is already visible If you slide back to the previous section music automatically plays from the beginning of that playlist It should give you the option of starting back right where you left off because maybe you are the person who defeats the idiotproofing abilities of this app Just sayin              Good

So glad we found this app So easy to operate and everything went so smoothly I really love how it fades the group procession song out before the bridal procession plays If you are having a low budget wedding you should def use this                 Love this app

I really like this app and it has been very useful in planning my wedding music However more fade options and timing options would be very good You can set the cross fade and pause times but not the transition into a wait cue between sections So so you want to fade out after the bride comes down the aisle You have to pause rather than wait which isnt as easy or smooth But all in all pretty good Solid 4 stars More abilities would easily knock it up to 5              Good but could do more

So much more featurerich than the standard music player Lots of options crossfading allow people to make requests and more                 Great app

This app worked perfectly Highly recommend ButI deleted the app after the wedding and I still 7 months later cant delete the songs from my iPhone 4 iOS 712 Has this happened to anyone else                 Please help me

We had a very specific list for the wedding events of the day This app was perfect to set the right mood and keep the party going The specific songs for the wedding ceremony sounded professional and perfect Would have paid 20 for this app after using it Should be named completely idiot proof wedding DJ on a budget If your having a diner party this is a great app to have on your phone Wish they had a iPad version                 Perfect for weddings idiot proof guarantee

Several times the music just stopped playing or randomly switched to different playlists Wish I had just used the iPhone player     Crashes horrible wedding music experience

This app was so amazing I didnt feel comfortable paying for a wedding DJ and we already had the speaker system so when I found this app I knew its what we needed for our wedding It worked perfectly all day and there was nothing I would change about it The price is also amazing considering what DJs charge for a similar service                 Life Saver

This is an awesome app and Im surprised there are no reviews yet My brother in law is doing my wedding music and I was so nervous about him playing the right song at the right time or forgetting to skip to the next song after fading out But this app makes it so simple and easy Im confident the music will turn out perfectly                 Amazing

I absolutely love the app but even if you select cross fade to be off you still have to go into setting to turn it off the Go back to turn it back on so it will fade for the rest of the playlists              Cross fade not working

Wasted 199 wont play iTunes music     Doesnt work

This is an excellent app for anyone considering doing their own wedding music The intuitive interface makes selecting songs and playing them at the right time throughout the wedding so easy The the ability to accept music requests easily pause skip or rearrange songs ataglance battery level and other nifty features make this a musthave for the DIYer                 A must for anyone considering a DIY DJ wedding

Seems like a good idea but I cant trust my wedding to a 5 app It crashed the 2nd time I opened it Im going to have to bite the bullet and hire a DJ     Wont trust it with my wedding

I had several issues while using this app at my wedding It is a pain to reorder your music if you select it in the wrong order You have to delete everything and then go through the process again It is not easy to quickly skip to a playlist You can only go to the one directly before or after The whole things a nice idea but it didnt flow as great as Id hoped        Not a fan

Easy to work could explain it to anyone to run Couldnt play all the music on my playlist and didnt say why but I didnt worry too much about it and the day ran perfectly                 Exactly what I wanted

We used the Wedding DJ for our wedding this summer and it rocked All the music went smoothly with a simple swipe We loved it Paired it with the Ion speaker from Costco and sounded like real DJ Winner all the way for those that are trying to cut costs and pick your own music                 Easy and awesome

Anything thats DRM protected about half of my library wont work From their site If these songs are crucial to your event unfortunately youll need to get updated versions of the songs through iTunes or use the builtin Music player for those particular songs     Waste

Does not play a lot of my songs I purchased from iTunes It says they are older protected versions and I will have to buy the newer versions to play in the app Ridiculous     Dont waste your money

Overall I am very happy with the app It has made preparing playlists for our wedding reception much easier than I feared has several very useful functions and is aesthetically pleasing as well A couple of features that I would have liked to have 1 More flexibility with the crossfade Specifically the ability to pick different crossfade durations for individual songs since songs have different leadin and fadeout times and a 5second fade that works well for one transition may leave an awkward pause on another transition 2 The ability to fastforward and rewind songs rather than just skip ahead or skip back This would allow the user to hear transitions between songs without having to listen to the entire song first Otherwise an excellent app Thanks              Very useful wellexecuted tool

I really loved this app it worked great no problems It saved a ton of money vs an actually DJ or band Just make sure you have someone working it that knows how it works in case you have to skip or go to another playlist but it is really fool proof I would recommend it to anyone having a wedding I tested it plenty of times before the actual day and never had a problem and it worked perfectly the actual day Get it                 Loved it
