My Recipe Book - Your recipes, finally organized. Plus 1000s more for free

Ive been using this app since I got the iPad 1 I love it When they added the phone version it was a major improvement Now I can see what I need while Im out shopping Easy to share recipes with friends Worth the effort of typing in my own recipes                 Love it

Good app May not have all the features for someone looking to do complex meal planning but for what you pay cannot complain I replaced my 150 electronic recipe keeper with this and have been very pleased One feature I would like to see is the ability to organize the grocery list I like to organize my list to my favorite stores layout For now I drop the list into notepad and rearrange there so problem solved              Enjoy the app

Please add support for foreign languages Id like to at least be able to name my recipe in its native language This is extremely important because many recipes dont have English names           Language support

Seamlessly designed app that works perfectly every time Have been using it for two years on a daily basis Graphics could be more modern but I love how this app works Update Have now been using this app for some three years Synced on two iPads and an iPhone at this time worth noting that unlike Paprika and other cooking apps there is a one time charge for this app regardless of the number of devices you download it to Ive been cooking passionately for 50 years this app answers all my needs in the kitchen and them some Thoughtful updates that tweak and improve but Ive yet to see a graphics update Id love to see a little modernity creep into the graphics some day Apart from that kudos to the designers for a smart streamlined app that delivers                 Excellent

This app does NOT search any of the websites as it claims just returns all recipes on the site Finding a recipe using the search function on allrecipescom and tapping Easy Import reports that import succeeded yet the recipe is nowhere to be found in the app So you are stuck with the 24 preloaded recipes basically just spam I dont care about your muffins Wasted 099 will delete immediately     Just steals 099 from you

I was talking with my husband about him making me an app for my recipes and he said there may be something out there already that would work for what I need After looking at a couple I was happy to find this one had the ability to enter your own recipe and also pull a recipe from the web After playing around with the app I just cant help but hate the UI It looks horrible and the smoothness of actions is pretty unbearable But I suppose it does its job 4 stars for an application that does what it needs to do I would give it 5 stars if it was updated to look and interact better              Useful app Ugly design

This is the BEST AP you can get to store all those favorite recipes at a touch Entering them is easy and takes moments you can sort indicate a favorite and organize them in special folders like Christmas The support behind this AP is beyond belief as well Thanks for creating the best ever                 BEST AP

I use My Recipe all the time including when I am at the grocery to buy ingredients for my recipes It is so easy to import and share recipes My daughters sister now use this app at my recommendation                 I love this app

This is a wonderful recipe App I had another recipe App that I used for about a year before I bought this App that could also import recipes It had so many problems and if you had to custom import it was even more difficult to use I bought this My Recipe Book based on the reviews and I love it It is very easy to import recipes the recipe pages are very clear and easy to read My only complaint or suggestion is the grocery list feature needs to be updated My old Recipe App would allow you to add items into the list by category alphabetical or by recipe I often emailed the category and recipe list so I could check both when shopping The grocery list on this App isnt as easy to use when shoppingotherwise this is a great App that I use almost every day                 Best recipe App

Best app Ive come across that allows me to combine all recipes from different places into one place brilliant However I have a a couple instances where the app has crashed I would also suggest that you create categories for sandwiches and slow cooker recipes as well Thanks              Great App

Ive used this app for a few years and it works just fine but I have a huge pet peeve with the inconsistency in capitalization of ingredient names Tbsp and Cup are capitalized but tsp and teaspoon are not and it wont let you change it It formats nicely when you want to share a recipe via email but that part is annoying and kind of embarrassing              Good app but has inconsistencies

This app is very good because it organizes all my recipes I have over 600 recipes on this app However upon accessing this app it crashes on the iPad Its very frustrating not to access your recipes on demand I am unable to use the app on my iPad It freezes every time I attempt to load it     App crashes

I have been able to share any recipe that I have with friends from all parts of the country because of this app It has allowed me to be organized and to place great honor on my recipes by being able to give them a permanent home in this app Thank you for all you do to keep making this app so user friendly and functional This is my favorite app in the world yes I am a foodie                 MommaT

I like this app for the most part however I get a lot of my recipes off blogs and want to save them If a recipe isnt on a major site like allrecipes or foodnetwork you have to hand write in the recipe on your phone or ipad since it isnt compatible with Mac and then half the time it doesnt save them Its frustrating to spend 15 minutes writing in a recipe only to find out it didnt save any of it and then I have to do it again           Its ok adding recipes is annoying

I just spent a week transferring all of my recipes from another App plus entering all of my recipes that were typed in Word The App is simple to use and figuring out how to do things is easy I also love that my recipes are backed up and I can sync with my iPhone Now I have all of my recipes when Im grocery shopping For my recipes in Word I emailed them to myself then used the Find Recipes Online feature to access my email The Custom Import worked pretty well This App is worth the 099 Stay away from the free ones                 Fantastic App

My whole family used this app for 2 years and loved it Developer does not keep up on app or respond to FB or emails Its run its course they are not involved in any real maintenance or quality updates We switched to Paprika and its fantastic So many more features easy to use great communication wdeveloper Worth every penny our family has switched and bought for iPhone iPad and Mac Honestly Worth the investment The picture automatically loads with the recipe No more messing with saving the pic then having to go back and editupload Print options include different sizes whole page and recipe box file choices for those who still like to keep a hard copy back up or just print for easy use Recipes are auto added easily from any site Only thing we missed was bold headings which developer says they are working on adding Skip this App and invest in Paprika you wont be sorry     STOP Do not download app until reading

This seems like a good app but only allows you to download recipes from the major recipe websites You can manually enter recipes if you want I get s lot of my recipes from blogs or small webpages so I have to manually enter them because this app will not let you access those sites to download the recipes easily        Not a zip list replacement

This is one of my favorite tools but no longer seems to be supported Wont import recipes anymore and nothing written to or from developer online since 2013        No longer supported

People who made this must reviewed this because this app is no good It advertises as being able to import from any website but it only has choices of about 10 sites it can import from and cannot add any new sites I dont see the point of this app if it can import from desired sites U have asked for refund     Terrible

I really want to use this app and WANT to love this app But I cant Because it keeps shutting down on me And now I just feel like I paid a lot of money for an app that takes up space and is worthless to me Very unfortunate     I wish I could love this app

My wife and I wanted an app that we could store all of our recipes on so we could easily see what ingredients we needed while at the store For the longest time we couldnt find anything that synced across devices This app solved all of that and more It syncs across devices lets you share recipes with others and easily builds a grocery list on the go Perfect app                 Exactly what I had been looking for

I never make a recipe as written This app is amazing for editing the recipes I find online so I remember how I actually made it next time Easy to import and edit Two improvements I would make would be easier sharing between others who have this app and please let us add categories                 Super Recipe App for editing and organizing

I love this app but since the latest iOS update there are issues connecting to the network All other apps connect just fine I have restarted my iPad numerous times in numerous ways no change Other than this latest issue I use the app almost every day The only addition I would like to see is a calendar feature to make plans for meals in advance           Love this app but

I used this app for a couple of years using my iPad 3 I purchased a new iPad Air 2 and trying to use this app With the new IOS I have had this app crash too many times to count I have reported the issue to the developer several times and there has been no bug fix Taking the time to enter a recipe manually then have it crash is beyond frustrating Im moving on to a new app     Serious app crash issues

I have been using the app for several years I used to love it The UI is beautiful But the developers do not seem to really care about it They do not answer questions on their Facebook page And while there have bug updates there have been no real features in a long time Competitor apps can be accessed on Mac from a browser and even Windows They allow you to plan a meal calendar export it to iCal and easily scale recipes quickly My Recipe Book has not been invested in and is just being milked Sadly I am moving on to another recipe app I recently bought Paprika on my Mac and iPhone and am finding the additional features quite excellent even if the UI is not nearly so pretty        Time to move on

I use this app pretty much every time I make dinner My wife and I often find recipes online to try and this makes organizing and creating the shopping lists so much easier The recipe sync causes the app to freeze up and appears to constantly trying to sync making the app unusable unless you log outOtherwise the implementation of this is fantastic              Love this app

I love the shopping list feature and the ability to share recipes with family and friends Its easy to import and I always have the recipes with me for last minute stops at the grocery store                 Love this app

I have been using this app for a couple of years now I havent had any issues with it but its very time consuming to enter recipes on an iPad I wish I could run it on my laptop so I could easily cut and paste my recipes from the notepad              Like the app but wish it ran on laptop

I used to love this app However it is not dependable anymore Most of the time it wont import It just twirls and twirls Cooking Light which is one of my favorite sources wont find recipes at all PLEASE FIX and I will update my review        Used to be great

This app is nice for handling recipes that are already online or digitized in some way However its big flaw is that it does not allow users to pull in recipes that are not digitaleg handwritten or clips from newspapers or magazines although they are not alone none of the other do either but I only got this one I have a ton of these recipes many more than digital ones I know pulling in a picture of a recipe would not allow me to use other parts of the app eg generate shopping lists but I dont care I just want a way to organize my recipes in a cleaner way than keeping paper in a big pile And the app already has a picture feature the developers just need to make that picture field bigger to accommodate a whole recipe If this feature is added I will definitely rerate higher     The app is ok but has a major flaw

I have used his app for years and loved it but it has so many problems recently It wont sink between devices my grocery list arent always available the developers website is missing I havent been able to import A few weeks back I was researching backup which quit working it looked like someone had bought the app Does that mean no more support Id gladly pay upgrades or yearly fee reasonable please so they can keep the app going but right now Im afraid of losing all my recipes BTW backup is now thru iTunes which I dont use Guess Id better email all my recipes to myself so I dont lose them     Going downhill fast

On the App Store it says multiple photos can be added for each dish But I cant figure out how Is it a feature yet If it isnt please consider adding it It will be helpful I often cook and take a lot photos through out the cooking Photos helps me remember the process One thing about cooking that really amazing but often overlooked is the Process of making Not always about the end result So please help me and help others by adding this feature Thank you              Im desperately needing this feature

Love how easy it is to import from websites Wish it was easier to add magazine or index card recipe by taking a photo and it inputs information from photo Currently takes a lot of time to input recipes not found online              Love this app

Ive used this app for a couple years now and it is really great but it is constantly freezing It used to do it every now and then But now it freezes almost every time I try to click a button And then sometimes it doesnt let me scroll down So I basically can only read the first half of the recipe I think its to the point now that Im going to have to move on Its a shame but its pretty much unusable at this point        LOTS OF BUGS

It looks good but its missing the feature to add delete and edit categories I was surprised as thats something simple and other free apps have it        You cant change the categories

Ive been using this ap for a couple years now The ap itself is amazing beautiful and keeps me organized and on budget HOWEVER recently there have been a few major problems My iPhone ap crashes every time I scroll through my recipes under All My Recipes As soon as I get to the Rs the ap crashes so I cannot see 20 of my recipes On my iPad the ap takes at least 10 minutes to open up Sometimes it is stuck loading and I can never use it Please fix the technical problems so I can use this wonderful ap again        Great ap but lots of bugs to work out

Wish I could get my money back Looking for a recipe book to consolidate the hundreds of recipe magazines my wife has laying around the house Unfortunately you can search their website but it will come up with dozens of various recipes for the same dish In order to get the recipes she has earmarked you have to retype it all in yourself App could be better if it had an OCR reader or if you could take pictures of the recipe If these already exists on this app an instruction walk through would help too Still searching     Not a fan

Easy to add recipes from websites or manually Love the feature that automatically calculates measurements if I need to double halve etc Includes favorites ability to change or add categories share recipes grocery lists Ive never been so organized with my recipes nor so enthused with my ability to try new ones that I have found                 Excellent

Ive had this app for over two years on my iPad and after trying two of the free ones Ill tell you by far this is the best one you could have for anything relating to recipes whether you want to save an old family recipe download one directly from the Internet or even send the recipe to a friend with a just a click Its very userfriendly and thats important to me because I want to do recipes and cook not try to figure out more computer stuff And heres the best part of my review in a day and age where alot of people wont help you if theres not financial gain for them whoever the developer is of this app went above and beyond the call of duty In trying to help me my husband deleted 700 of my recipes long story but it was an accident nevertheless I cried like nobodies business I first called Apple and they could not help me at all I then sent an email to this publisher and they got back to me right away saying they could and would help me but that it would be a very big job because of the massive amount of recipes They didnt know me and they didnt have to do it but they worked on it for two days and restored every single one of my recipeshappy tears I tell you happy tears There are still good people in this world who practice honesty and integrity And just care Thank you to the owner the publisher anyone who works for this company and especially anyone who had something to do with restoring my recipes                 Best App Ever

This is an excellent app with one major flaw A person cannot add a cutpaste recipe from a word prosper document              Excellent app but

I have been trouble shooting this app for my wife She uses on an iPhone and iPad The app crashes contantly if RecipeSync is enabled on the iPad but not on the iPhone It does not crash on the iPad if RecipeSync is turned off Anybody seeing the same thing Any workarounds        Recipe sync causing crashes

Im a little surprised not to see a check off list for when ingredients are added while preparing a dish in this latest release        No check off list while preparing a dish

This app is great Especially if youre a Pinterest person You can upload online recipes right through this app You can even take your own picture and upload it Theres nothing worse than finding a great recipe online then when you go to make it again its gone Your recipes are here even if Heaven forbid the Internet is down                 Love this app

On my iPad 2 this was by far my favorite app but it has never worked since switching to the iPad Air or on my iPhone 5c It just gets stuck and crashes Ive spent the last couple of years compiling recipes on this app and now Im unable to get to or use any of them Very disappointing     Doesnt work on iPad Air

This is such a great app Very useful and easy to import recipes into it We use it almost everyday I would like to suggest in the grocery list being able to scan items to add to list would be great When we run out of certain things it would be great to be able to scan the item to add it                 Great App
