Research-based. AMA-developed. Patient-directed. Whether you re keeping track of multiple medications, recording allergy information or storing emergency contacts, the My Meds app from the American Medical Association is your solution. Developed specifically for patients by health care ...
First this app is not for medical professionals It is for patient use I like the app but it still has some bugs and missing components The allergies sections needs improvement You need to be able to enter your exact allergy and symptoms instead of picking from a limited list You can not enter your insurance information and some other very important medical information like blood type It would be nice to be able to add my family history and have a profile for my wife and son A good basic app if you can get past the shortcomings Still needs improvement It would be worth the price if it offered what it promised and fixed the bugs        Needs improvement
I down loaded the app thinking it would allow me to enter the info on my Mac and then synch it to my iPhone The data has to be entered into the phone THis is an awkward task for most people old enough to have enough medicine to have to keep track of Good idea but actually easier to just make a spread sheet and load it onto the phone           Awkward
I really like the concept The app is a little basic It would be nice to have a more precise display where more meds can be listed and viewed The email application needs a lot of work and it would be nice to be able to sync the same data between iPhone IPad without having to add all of the data twice I still highly recommend this for folks with multiple medications and for those who travel Work on this and it will be 5 stars in no time at all           Still Needs a Little Work
This app is all I was looking for and more Thanks                 Helpful
Great site really helps with keeping track of our medicines we take                 Great Help
As a physician I bought this to evaluate whether or not I could recommend it to my patients The section on Allergies is poorly done There should not be other medication as a category It should be the same as the medication sectionsimply enter the medication youre allergic to Also under immunizations it lists tetanus but not dTap or DT There is an important distinction there This app needs a lot of work and is an embarrassment to the AMA     My Medications
Whenever I log in to the app it freezes and the screen is black I have removed it and redownloaded it several times I am growing tired of reentering all of my information each time     Freezes
I really wanted to have more than one person with this app since I am caregiver for parents and cant figure out how to add another person or myself I have had to add all my moms meds twice because they were gone last night If I knew how to add 2 more people then I would give it 4 stars           more than one person
This app would be good if you could add family members Big issue for me        Can only use for one person
This is great for any person that has medical health issue                 Technian
Crashed when setting up meds Stay away     Wasted 99 Cents
I wanted to like this app trying it out as a physician and AMA member The organization is OK but the meds and allergy entry portals are a mess Kept kicking out entries for medications and allergies that didnt fill all the boxes I have that experience all day filing electronic claims Major overhaul needed before ready for meaningful use        Awkward app
As a Cancer patient i am so greatful for this App it will help me so much I have so many medication and many doctors now I have this wonderful app to help me remember what medication I take and the names of my many doctors thank you                 Great App
Highly recommended for individuals and families                 Excellent
I tried this but will not hold majority of my medical info It was slow and incomplete I downloaded and tried Pocket Health and highly recommend it Allows more info and easier to use        Not quite there
Not a bad app yet I was looking for one that allows for more that one persons info to be entered With 3 young boys it can be hard to keep track Great for one person           Limited
Entry of personal information is not possible without allowing app access to personal contacts Since Im not comfortable allowing this app access to my contacts Im deleting it I wish entry of personal information can be done manually through the enter a new person menu     Nice try
Would not let me use it until I allowed access to my contacts Deserves no stars I deleted it immediately Im glad it was only 99 cents     Invasive Crap
I downloaded this app liked what I saw I entered my meds When I next opened the app no meds I entered were there I entered 1 Closed the app Opened again no meds What     Doesnt save
I found several apps that allow user to list meds but most of them have slots for the whole family This is not that kind of app so it works for me It does need a little updating for allergy concerns and the field for Notes should indicate on the screen that I did put data in the field I like the password feature              I like it
This app is no more then Spyware you cant do anything in it till you let it read all your contacts WHY        Spyware
This is exactly what I was looking for something to keep a list of my medications It would be nice if there was an iPad version that would allow for multiple patients It would be nice if the iPhone and iPad could sync I like it and use it              Looks good
No delete key to get rid of old meds              Wheres the delete
Good start for a medical app for people that need to manage their medical needs Much better than a lot of other out there I know I tried To be a GREAT APP add the following functionality 1 Needs to be able to manage family member 2 I need to be able to specify my allergy other is not good enough I have anaphylaxis 3 You need an anaphylaxis alert for people like me and a checkboxes that causes anaphylaxis Include medications Allow the user to enter the medication that causes anaphylaxis This app will then save lives and help out doctors tremendously           A developers review
This app has all the basics meds allergies providers a place to add explanatory notes in a common sense interface Easy lookups for meds Providers and emergency contacts easily added from your contact list The only thing it lacks is the ability to add another person such as a spouse or child Im hoping to see this in a future version              Very well done
This app has it all I really like the ability to e mail the info to your emergency contacts and doctors One improvement that I would like to see is the ability to prioritize by importance the emergency contact and doctor Listings              Great app any easy to share with your emergency contacts and doctors
Freezes after two medications are entered Not really worth the cost     Waste of money
I like it as far as it goes Id like a place to put the last date a script can be refilled Also an alert or reminder to refill Maybe a link to a calendar Glucose test strips should be an option in medications or a category for medical equipment I hope you will consider these updates I have a new phone and no way to sync the info I hate to think of entering all that again        Potential
This app is helpful to some extent The app doesnt let you type in allergies it has a short common list which was useless to me           Med list
Why does this want me to add myself as a contact The app does very little it mostly clutters my contacts it will have me trying to call myselfI will try it for a day or two All it ask for on info is phaddress email but no name I am a vet I do not call the Dr but I want his their names in the list under the hosp I use OK I put in a Dr no place to put heart cancer obgynThis app should be MUCH more useable before you charge for it     rip off
Only allows allergies to animals like Dog or Cat My patients dont carry an EpiPen because their eyes water around a pet What about Bee venom Needs more drug allergy options too Get a consult from a pharmacist Where are the fields for date of birth blood type past medical history past surgical history I know it was only a buck but there are better solutions           Needs to be updated
