Multirhythms

This is a fantastic app with great potential but it crashes whenever I try to add a rhythm Its really a shame cuz it is really awesome otherwise              Seems great but theres a bug or two

No other app came with all the polyrhythms I needed It even supports polyrhythms with more than two rhythms                 Best polyrhythms app by far

The app comes with quite a few simpleand surprisingly authenticdrumbeats to show off what its sequencer can do and wow it can do a lot We have quite few tunes with complex meters but it was really easy to set them up in the metronome By keeping everyone together this timekeeper has been a real timesaver                 Impressive sequencer

This app has made learning to play different rhythms in each hand so much faster Im a pianist and am using the app for passages where the left and right hand parts have separate complicated rhythms Its incredibly helpful to be able to enter the rhythms into the app and hear how they sound together at the right tempo I also find playing the trainer game until I dont need to look at the screen anymore a quick way to get a feel for a new rhythm if Im not at my keyboard I can see how this app could be really useful for a drummer although I dont think you can use your feet with the trainer game I may actually start using this as my goto metronome since it seems really easy to create and save different beats I had some fun practicing montunos over the included clave rhythms and AfroCuban drumset beats Thank you                 Amazing for mastering opposing rhythms

PROS Tempo range from 4512 Tempo adjustment is very easy Pattern can be up to 256 beats long Add up to 16 partstracks Each part has its own notesbeats ratio Set levels for all parts Logical layout Cool rhythm training mode Good selection of metronome patterns CONS Workflow for adding a part is a bit tedious No dynamics one level per part Included sounds are basic no import Cant audition sounds from picker GUI is pretty bland Cant reset to top of cycle only pauses and restarts from where you pause so if you are having trouble hearing where one is you cant restart it from 1 Multirhythms is a fantastic learningteaching tool The extreme tempo range and pattern length lets you work in interesting ways However limitations on workflow lack of dynamics and inability to customize sounds prevent it from becoming an even more powerful musical tool It would also be great to see it transmit MIDI clock and MIDI notes from all parts I truly hope that folks buy this app and support the developer But I also hope the developer will continue to improve this good tool to make it great           Great Learning Tool with potential for music making

As a professional musician Ive been looking for a portable tool that trains my left and right hands to play complex rhythms simultaneously While the app comes preprogrammed with a decent mix of standard rhythms I love that I can program my own rhythms and instantly get feedback on where Im rhythmically off Whereas the iPad version is probably ideal due to a larger surface area I havent had any problems with the iPhone version I especially like that I can now practice on planes and trains without annoying other passengers Highly recommended for all musicians                 Great for rhythm training
